MissMeiya: Friends with benefits: ultimately someone starts feeling possesive, and someone gets hurt

"Fun" buddies: gets lonely sometimes undecided

So, yeah I would prefer a (mutual) friendship.
That would definitely not be me, so I do not even see that as a potential problem. grin cool

barcanista: Bro, have you fallen victim b4?
Not really.

I have had a girl try that with me but I knew she was doing it and I just played along while she was hiding boyfriend from me. grin

What happened was, it leaked from another girl that she liked me after seeing me and I no jah her face. I was even introducing guys that wanted to chat her up at a party to her (she was shocked and fancied me more). I did that because to me, she was on the side of a bit too skinny (like if she was hungry), although with nice solid racks. But as she stays locally to me and was always calling me to come out (she was a party girl who knew all the parties and also liked me giving her a ride), I hung out with her. And as I always like girls that like me, and the racks were nice, after she put on just a little bit more weight to be above my threshold, I decided to try it.

Smooched sometimes but she knew by this time that this boy aint loyal and she likes to chase while I thought since I heard she said she already fancied me, I should play nice, she lost interest and chased someone else. grin

We are still cool friends till today but I did not waste anything except my petrol but I got parties and cooking in return. grin

ThoniaSlim: Oga if she does not like you like that then trust me all that won't work. It'll just be you hurting yourself indirectly because you the one pinning for her not the other way around.
Nah, I won't be hurting myself.

I am lucky to be very-much blessed with the disposition of not tending to like girls that don't like me. That is how I have always related to girls. Luckily it makes my like very easy.

My love has never been blind. It went to SpecSavers. grin grin grin

RomanceRe: Friendzone In Picture...(photos) by Sagamite(m): 3:52pm On Jul 11, 2014
barcanista: No Dear its not necessarily all about "Sex". Women are moved by emotions while men are moved by sight. The guy you are having a crush on probably doesn't consider you to be his "taste" in terms of looks(No offense) but the possibility that he will have a change of mind and "consider" you is 50% because beauty is not universal and could be manipulated by the human mind. Hence, YOU STAND A CHANCE in the nearest future.

Women on the other hand are moved by emotions. If they don't have slight feelings for a guy in the first instance, then the possibility of re-considering the person is in the barest minimum(that is IF there's any hope). So there is no need for a guy wasting his time and helping her with stuffs in the name of friendship when his intention is to win her heart.
WRONG!

The guy might end up boning her one day if she dresses right and offers it free on a platter (As long as she is not completely butters and below his threshold). After that, she might be successful roping him in with emotional blackmail or by the virtue of how good she is in the sack.

On the other hand, a guy friend-zoned might have a chance too when she has passed her expiry date or is in decline faster than a broadband connection and she knows her options are now limited and all the bad boys don chop, don wipe mouth.

mainman7: People, don't be carried away by emotions. Whether of young or old, man or woman, child or adult, theirs or that of others, the truth remains that Palestinians do NOT value life. Yes, Life is not sweet but can you laden yourself with bomb in the name of suicide bombing for whatever reason? Say the truth, can you? You can't, not because you are afraid to die but because you value not just your life but that of others as well because of the sanctity of life. You know that you cannot create one so while should you destroy life (whether yours or that of another). But Palestinians are not like that, they see life as worthless. While Israel will do anything to protect the lives of their own citizen, Palestinians will go and kill and run back to use their populace as human shield, what wickedness! They are bloody cowards, they don't value the lives of their women and children. If they do while running back after inviting trouble to mix up among them? Useless cowards! They laid the exemplary format of the suicide bombing that all Islamic terrorist organizations like :oBokoHaram shocked are now following killing innocent people. It's Palestine that hates peace with passion, knowing fully well that they are no match for Israel, yet because of the fact that they have no respect for sanctity of life (neither for their lives nor for Israelis) they keep provoking Israel. They've been firing missiles at Israel without Israel responding. Feeling that that was not provoking enough, they went ahead to kidnap and kill 3 Israelis.
Read History: There are still million of blacks in Morocco and Egypt, peacefully integrating and living with the Arabs that stole their land and drove most of their forefathers further down Mid-Africa and South of Africa. There are still millions and millions of Red Indians in America today, peacefully integrating and even now ruling with the Caucasians that stole their land and callously spilled the blood of their fathers on their own land. Similar cases abound around the world. Not because they are fools but because humanity is becoming more civilized, knowing that "An eye for an eye would only make the whole world go blind"
Just like America offered to develop Japan, despite the fact that Israel earlier paid for most of those land, Israel still offered pecuniary compensation, infrastructural development, economic development, technological development and much more in exchange for peace but these senseless stone-age Palestinians flatly rejected all. May be Palestinians are under demonic influence shocked to thirst for blood and/or see blood shed. To them, their life is worthless and for their desire to always see blood shed (whether theirs or others does not matter to them) stone-age people of Palestine still kill Israelis (then run back to hide amidst women and children, COWARD!) without slightest provocations from the Israelis, even when it should by now have deeply sunk into their dumb brain that Israel have NO other place to go!
If your mother and grandmother were slaughtered like sheep by a soldier who intentionally aimed at them while running from bombs with white flags in their hand. The government of people that shot her refuse to even bother to investigate because to them you are just a worthless piece of shit christian. This is something the do frequently, you are not the first.

Then the world shouts on your behalf and then this government finally out of shame relents and tried the soldier. They found him guilty of some lame lower charge and then send him to 45 days in jail, would respect the sanctity of lives of those people?

TravelRe: Ghanaians Ask For Asylum In Brazil July 11, 2014 7:52 AM by Sagamite(m):
chukxie: Brazilian federal police say that some 200 Ghanaians have requested asylum after entering the country on tourist visas to watch the World Cup .

The Ghanaians say they are Muslims fleeing inter-religious conflicts in their home country.

They have filed their applications in the southern city of Caxias do Sul, in one of Brazil's most prosperous areas.

Another 1,000 Ghanaians are expected to request refugee status once the tournament is over, police said.

The Brazilian authorities believe many of the Ghanaians are looking for the right to work legally in the country.

'Overcrowded now'

"This region - Serra Gaucha - is known as an area of full employment. It has became a magnet for foreign workers," federal police chief Noerci da Silva Melo said in Caxias do Sul.

"You go through the streets and you can see many Haitians and Senegalese selling pirate CDs and watches. The area is overcrowded now" Mr Melo told the news agency Agencia Brasil.

Caxias do Sul is more than 1,600 km (1,000 miles) away from the venues where the Ghanaian team played - the north-eastern cities of Natal and Fortaleza and in the capital, Brasilia.
Brazilian legislation allows potential refugees to work legally in the country once they have filed for asylum.

The fact that the Ghanaians have entered the country on tourist visas should not be taken into consideration when considering whether to grant them asylum, a Justice Ministry official said.

"Asylum cannot be requested at a Brazilian embassy. The asylum seeker must be in the country to apply," said Joao Guilherme Granja.

"We have hundreds of Syrian refugees in Brazil at the moment in the same situation."

Most of the Ghanaian asylum seekers in Caxias do Sul have been given shelter by local Roman Catholic churches.

Fcking kick their xxxxxx out.

Asylum me xxxxxx

What inter-religious conflict are they escaping they have to go that far to "escape" it ...............after watching football?

They can afford visas and flight tickets but cannot find a place to "escape" to in other parts of Ghana or even West Africa?

As a matter of fact, lock them up in a camp for like 1 year before deporting their xxxxxx as punishment for wasting your countries resources processing them.
Foreign AffairsRe: Isreal Bombards Gaza. It Is Literally Raining Bombs. by Sagamite(m):
Now to prove this point I stated earlier:

Sagamite: This is the kind of lame logic you develop when you decide to ignore facts and choose to dig out lame points and grasp at any straws possible to support one side.
If someone was objective and open-minded, he would have bothered to check his fact instead of trying to engage in meaningless pettifogging to distract from the main issues he knows would make his position wrong.

Anyone using their logical compass would know a name of a place might be different from that of the inhabitants purely because they could not be bothered to change it.

That is just one angle. Just a quick 20 minutes look at Wikipedia, which any objective proponent can do if they were not one-sided, I found that Bethlehem has actually a meaning in both Hebrews and Arabic.

In Hebrew, it is Bet Lehem meaning "House of Bread".

In Arabic, it is Bayt Lahm meaning "House of Meat".

So the Arabs just Arabicised it, so no need for a drastic change. Bethlehem is now so Palestinian even the oppressive Israeli government has ceded the governance to a Palestinian body. But someone wants to argue "It has a Jewish name, it is owned by Jews".

If someone is objective and is not trying to grasp at any straws to lamely prove his position, he would investigate the "points" he his about to propose and get the "facts" before proposing it.

Now, if he had done that, he would have realised that all these Jewish named towns/cities he is saying is owned by the Jews because they have Jewish names mostly have Arabic names but which the Jewish Israel government are suppressing (with some being even places with predominantly Muslim populations):

Haifa = Hayfa
Nazareth = an-Nasiriyyah
Jericho = Ariha

Obviously the most recent conqueror with military might that controls the region tends to name the place, just like the British named a place Lagos, instead of Eko. That, by dafidi's logic, must mean the Portuguese own Lagos since we have not changed it back.

Furthermore, as we live in Christian countries and listen to news through media that is Western dominated, obviously the selection of disputed names reported would not be the Islamic one. It is going to be the Bible one: Old Testament.

Another angle is that, some places still had large Jewish settlements throughout all these hundreds of years as not all Jews left Arabia. Jews definitely own some land in the area as they were a minority population pre-1948.

This is the kind of meaningless pettifogging I was saying dafidi wanted to get involved in and distract from the main argument of root causes.

https://www.nairaland.com/1804892/isreal-bombards-gaza-it-literally/16#24581865

What has all this pettifogging got to do with if it was right for the Jews to come and take Palestinian land in the early 20th century?
Foreign AffairsRe: Isreal Bombards Gaza. It Is Literally Raining Bombs. by Sagamite(m):
davidylan: No one has ever answered that question. I always ask muslims and their apologists to explain why the jews are the occupiers of a town called bethlehem... a jewish name.
Oh, it is a Jewish name is your "fact" and "logic" that the Jews own it? grin grin grin grin grin

So Victoria Island is owned by Buckingham Palace people? grin grin grin grin

Johannesburg is owned by the Afrikaans? grin grin grin grin

Alexandria in Egypt is owned by Macedonians? grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

Albuquerque in New Mexico is owned by Spain, not the USA? grin grin grin grin grin

The Bethlehem in Pennysylvania is even owned by the Jews because it is a Jewish name na? grin grin grin grin grin

What a serious logic. grin grin grin grin grin grin

This is the kind of lame logic you develop when you decide to ignore facts and choose to dig out lame points and grasp at any straws possible to support one side.

davidylan: Please back this up with fact. I am tired of the verbal diarrhea
You mean like the verbal diarrhea you backed up of saying Balfour Declaration mentioned creating a State for Jews under the two-state system?

If you have verbal diarrhea, you should probably keep quiet for a while and maybe it would go away.
