Hotice085:I think you are wrong here. Aba main town was very planned. In fact the length and breadth of the roads and streets are pretty much the same in the main town in a grid pattern. If we had things like fire hydrants and underground water systems, it would be easy to standardize equipments. Unfortunately as the city grew the rest of the areas were not planned and became chaotic. And that was before the governments of the state let the city completely decay |
Pierocash:Otti actually won under APGA platform. Overwhelmingly too but after 15 of the 17 local governments showed him winning a landslide PDP manufactured 82,000 fake votes in Obingwa and 47,000 fake votes in Osisioma to overturn the landslide victory he had won from Abia voters |
Ekeeyhandsome:Otti won in 2015 and 2019 too. He was rigged out both times. The one from 2015 was all so obvious because they brought Obingwa last after they saw the margin Otti was leading by and manufactured 82,000 fake votes |
The PDP government is already rigging the election after losing a landslide and must be resisted. Anything not from BVAS cannot be part of the final result |
OfficialAPCNig:PDP has destroyed Abia state with criminal impunity. Any plan to rig tomorrow will fail since they won’t get much votes. LP is going to run away with the election |
Why do some people keep claiming that Abia people voted for Ikpeazu twice? Abia people never ever voted for Ikpeazu. He was massively voted against but they rigged him in at the last minute through violent threats by TA Orji and Co who forcefully invaded INEC to force him to be declared governor. I thought this was common knowledge |
Abia is the most likely state. Infact it’s 100% if the actual polling results are announced and not tampered with. |
Dubaku543:You are deluded if you think they will ever get a referendum for any Biafra. Igbo people will keep getting killed until Igbos decide to revolt against their oppressors pretending to be liberators. Igbo land is gone to waste due to a phantom delusion about “referendum”. |
fastseo:Make this public info on Twitter quickly and contact some celebs to help address this. |
Promzwealth:If Abia gets a good governor and removes PDP Aba has much more potential than Uyo |
Mods front page please |
Greatest club side in the world! |
If Abia state gets Otti as Governor maybe this thread would finally explode into life. Right now it’s a joke of a thread |
DOTian:Igbo people are not slaves that you can command to sit at home whenever you want. There is no sit at home in effect in Nigeria or even in the old Biafra. Uyo is perfectly normal and so is Port Harcourt, Yenogoa and Calabar. Sit at home is slavery exclusively for Igbo people. The height of stupidity |
OFFICIAL336:The picture screen cap at the beginning of the Aba video is not anywhere in Aba. There is no single place in Aba that looks even remotely close to that nor has ever looked like that. It’s a video intended to mislead before you even play it. Aba just like most Nigerian “cities” is extremely primitive |
onuman:Actually when the IRA tried to use violence they used force to put them down. Scottish independence campaigners don’t use violence or terror to enforce illegal so called “sit at home” now do they? |
Omodua:Imagine telling Igbo people they can’t step out of their house on a Monday to do their normal business or go to school on a Monday and violently attack or kill anyone who doesn’t agree with that. Which sane person will support a group like that? Whatever good point you are bringing up has been destroyed by that attempt to violently subjugate free Igbo people If you want change start holding Abuja politicians accountable and stop destroying the lives of Igbo people who don’t agree with you |
Qadaffi2idiamin:Only a lunatic and an insane person would think they will be handed a “referendum” because of terrorist tactics. If you want a “referendum” go to Abuja and talk to the representatives and senators from the supposed Biafra with a concrete map of what Biafra entails. They are the ones that will push for a “referendum” Killing Igbo people who want to go about their normal lives on a Monday or rendering all Igbo land desolate due to terror will not secure a referendum nor get anyone released from DSS custody |
So when people are attacked or killed in the next couple of days for going about their peaceful business, who would be the ones doing it? These guys or the federal government? How can faceless gunmen be telling you not to step out of your house and you are obeying such nonsense and hailing faceless unaccountable people with gun imposition lack of freedom of movement on you? |
Tour of Aba from 2 weeks ago on the ground level. This is what it actually looks like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_5E-S1yr8g |
Michael004:Very true. Aba is a bit bigger but the longest roads in Aba are all not motorable hence why it’s even smaller to people who visit. Infact if you look at the video of the drive through that is most of motorable Aba right there. Port Harcourt Road, Ohanku, Obohia etc are all longer than say Aba-Owerri road but those sections of town are now no go areas due to lack of roads and they are big areas of the “city” Yet some silly people here are starting threads left and right to compare Aba to here and there and are only using drone/Helicopter footage to do it. When people post cities they post ground level pictures. I don’t take seriously anybody posting drone pics. I can post dozens of US cities drive through, Australia, Canada, China etc on the ground level to show people indulging in this mediocrity what a city actually is. Aba is a very primitive looking place. A few nice newer 4 story buildings don’t change that. Same is also mostly true of Ibadan and most so called “cities” in Nigeria. Primitive hamlets being called cities. It’s a joke. |
Nigerians really don’t understand how primitive these so called cities are. Using drone footage to try to make primitive towns look like cities. Neither of these places should be used with the word “developed”. It shows the primitive state Nigerians live in to compare these two places. Aba is a primitive town and Ibadan is not much better. I can post drive through videos of dozens or hundreds of American cities so guys know what cities look like. And most of these cities are smaller than Ibadan and the same size as Aba. Nigeria is a really primitive looking place Look at an example of ground footage of a city in China. A place still not considered developed but look at what their cities look like on the ground https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rhnGhnfH1M |
dreaonit:They are multi ethnic countries in Latin America. A lot of people from those places class themselves as “white” and Latino too at the same time. All these categories are artificially made up anyways. Nothing like a “real white” or “real black”. It’s all bullshit |
musicwriter:Whose definition of “white” are we using then? Definitely not that of Naija since our own definition is broad. It’s totally understandable by the way. Like in the west some of people they call “black” you can’t find a single Nigerian that looks anything like them. They have a broad definition of “black”. Vice versa with us. It isn’t scientific and it’s just made up. I don’t know how people can be saying that Nigerians are wrong in their usage of the word “white” when even on the American census today if you are from North Africa or the Middle East you are classed as white the same as Europeans. Even Latinos are classed as white along with checking the Latino box. The people who always try to tell Nigerians that so and so are “not white” are generally Nigerians who travelled outside and think they have found the real definition of “white” which Nigerians in Nigeria don’t know forgetting that our definition is centered on our perception not that of foreigners |
musicwriter:Actually calling people Oyinbo or Bekee like Igbo people do had nothing to do with Colonial activity or slave trading. Someone from Poland like Lewandoski, Russia like Putin, Israel like Netanyahu, Georgia like Stalin or Turkey like Erdogan would be Oyinbo/white to the average Naija. Same for a Syrian like Assad or a North African like Zidane even though they had nothing to do with slave trade We have used it as a broad description up until today which is why even today in Naija not just middle easterners but even Asians get called Oyinbo/white/Bekee. The people who talk about “real white” and stuff are Naija people who travelled overseas and now think they know what a “real white” or “real Caucasian” is. In reality they don’t even know that terms like Caucasian refers to middle easterners and Notth Africans the same way it refers to Europeans |
eduj:Once Abia people get rid of the PDP govt aristocracy holding the state hostage, you would be shocked at the speed of development and transformation Aba will have. It’s Igbo lands best answer for a mini Lagos and is being held down by the people in Govt in Umuahia It will be the beginning of this thread really exploding with posts and visitors |
Morphinne:What is the “scientific basis” here? It says that all humans are either “Caucasian”, “Mongoloid” and “Negro”. It says Caucasian’s include Semites (middle easterners and some North Africans) & Hamites. What you posted contradicted what you are saying You are ignorant beyond redemption if you think there is a scientific basis for race. Also Caucasian refers to people from Europe, the Middle East and North Africa along with their migrant populations in North and South America and Australia/New Zealand https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caucasian_race |
musicwriter:And who told you this? Or are you just assuming things? Actually white has been a changing classification. Even Jews like Netanyahu were not “white” in America for the longest time nor were Irish people. If a Nigerian refers to Netanyahu / Jews or people from Ireland as white when in America they were seen as not white in America would that be a correct description? White in the sense Nigerians use it is a broad term just like people outside the continent use black in a very expansive way to refer to people who don’t even look like Nigerians in any way There is really no “white” or “black” country anyways. Just vague descriptors |
Morphinne:You don’t even know what “white” / “Caucasian” means and you are lecturing people about it. You also don’t know what Latino means either Caucasian can include Latin Americans and even people in the Middle East and North Africa Many Latinos are white like Argentina, Uruguay etc since it’s an ethno linguistic classification There is no scientific description for Caucasian. It simply refers to people in Europe, Middle East, North Africa and migrant populations in North and South America |
Fahdiga:what is the relevance of Benue or the North to the madness that has engulfed the East? |
IbileIfe:Do you really believe this rubbish you wrote? Who praises the evil nihilists when they kill police officers and attack prisons and immigration offices? Who mourns these nihilists when they meet their Waterloo while trying to kill police officers? If they are really DSS/Fulani, why does this group mourn the deaths of unknown gunmen? |
