I see your concise arguments on different threads and the way people 'moralistically' shout down on your good constructive arguments in the name of their 'righteousness'

From the way the nigerians on this forum talk it would make any sane person ask a few questions

The hundreds or even thousands of abortions that take place in nigeria on a daily basis, who is involved in it?

The gay people that i personally saw in nigeria, who were they?

Those that stole more than $600billion (if that money is taken from any european economy, the country would totally cease to exist) and dumped it into various private accounts in the west who really are they?

The political figures (who some of them have a monthly salary less than $1000) who make regular and instant donations of up to tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars to greedy, thieving pastors all around the nation and get honorary titles and special blessings who are they, and who are these pastors.

In a country that has more than 97% reverencing God (by far the most religious country on earth, even more than saudi arabia and iran) why does the majority of public funds get stolen by these 'God fearing individuals"? Why can we not travel safely for even a minute on any of our nations roads? Who are the 419ners.

In the most moral country on earth, why do we have the third higest number of HIV infections in the world? Why do so many pastors thieve from their faithful and even from their own compatriates. Who are those that use their family members to do rituals 4 money?

I am usually on the alert for girls with such stories. I have had those kind of experiences so many times. If a girl rants that she is a virgin, i will only have sex with my husband, i am waiting 4 the 'glorious night' bla,bla bla that is her own goddamned business and her cup of tea. What has that got to do with me?. That is too much info from my own angle and i surely dont need to hear all that. Take it to those who have time 4 such stories or better still go and tell that ur story to the bank. I am sure the manager might be pleased to hear all that and might grant u a loan, but as for me ur yarn no put money 4 my account. When she will truly get to know my true colours is when she thinks anything will make me spend my dime on her then i will tell her of my own personal vow, ie never to spend a penny on a woman that is not my wife period . Even if she thinks i am playing time will tell her otherwise. I dont see why i would love a lady unconditionally and then u dig out restrictions on our relationship from all places. I know how to place restrictions too and lets place that and start to see where it gets us.

Really though, i cant build a relationship that a lady starts by yarning me that kind of dust from the begining. The irony is that i will never rush a lady into anything. I dont even believe in asking ladies 4 sex. When it will come up in our relationship, it would come up naturally based on the kinds of feelings and emotions that we have b/w us. U cant bury genuine emotions. If me and my lady feel we are ready for it we would go 4 it. Its just an aspect of our relationship.

Its usually up to couples to decide what works for them, and what works 4 us might be diffrent 4rom what works 4 the other guyz. No two relationships are the same and no single path produces exact results. Life is not all black and white

The truth is you cannot say that premarital sex= prostitution because that would imply that all the things we do in life its either we are getting payed or we then are cheap wastes ( and marriage 4 sure is included).

If the sacrifices in marriage are done neither for the hourly pay nor is it a cheap waste of our lives (devoting our time to somebody {unless you're trying to say that the payment comes from the sex in the marriage} unconditionally, then how can u classify anyother thing we do in life into 2 simple categories of get paid by the hour or your a cheap waste

1 Either you're getting paid by the hour for marriage
2 Or you are using yourself in a very useless and cheap form of slavery that has nothing in return for you, but one in which you're commiting your life (and indeed your whole life span) into. You are enslaving your self and you are even cheaper than a slave who gets paid meger money b/because u get paid nothing, so u are cheaper than slaves too

I strongly disagree with all these statements. If we are to go by these statements, most things we do in life are meaningless since it has to go with an immediate reward. What then would we say of married women who deny their husbands of sex when they do not get the material things they want or dont ordinarily get what they want from there husbands? ( in- marriage prostitution?), and how do u explain the fact that married women are so happy they go to bed with their husbands when he lavishes and spoils them specially more than they would do on an ordinary day that nothing special happens (in-marriage prostitution?) These women are therefore prostitutes too despite beign married or would the proponents of those theories above contradict there own parameters 4 measuring what prostitution means?
Sex is a way of expressing ur emotions at a particular time. It should never be compared to the work of a commercial sex prostitute.

Every other part of a relationship is left to grow, y should this be pre excluded. If i am in love with my woman and she is with me, then we should be completely open to each other, ready to take care of each other, and willing to make sacrifices. I will not pre exclude anything from her and neither would she from me

If u were talking about what i said about money, then that was just my thoughts on any girl i percieve as a gold digger telling me bullsh!t and thinking she will have me clapping 4 her and then get me to spend a penny on her. Its no secret that most girls tell some men who are willing to listen to their crap (b/cos they believe that denying a man sex would make him keep spending money since he has not gotten what he is supposedly looking for) and then keep taxing those guyz. I have seen these happen so many uncountable times. I have had personal experiences too.

I have had one friend and from day one she is already blabing that she will sleep with only her husband to me. I never asked her for anything and y she was alwayz putting stress on it was what i did not know then. If she only wanted to sleep with her husband, that was her own biz and her cup of tea. I did not need to know about that cos such info dont do nothing 4 me. When she thought i had gotten that hammered into my head, the only other things she came up with was how to spend my money. She was always telling me that i was the stingiest guy she had ever seen(but at the same time coming up with ridiculous ideas of how to spend a clubbing weekend in a 5 star hotel and always stressing that we would keep off each other or better still pay 4 two rooms) When i asked how the bill was to be shared, she starts ranting that i am the man. What Bullsh!t.
Anyway, in my good nature i never answered her (but in my mind i alwayz thought is she crazy or what? Does she think my mom gave birth to a fool) Ive never suggested sex to u in anyway and u keep talking sh!t. Y does she not get that her husband, whoever that would turn out to be, to do that 4 her, or maybe her pastor since she was claiming holy or even her father.

For a mature and serious minded person, sex doesn't come just like that, its going to be natural, when both never expected it will happen, they will just find themselves doing it. True love will take charge and every other thing will follow.
I will first of all love my girl, care for her and I will make sure we are always together. If both parties are really fond of and love each other very well, the feelings for themselves will then take charge. By the time we eventually agree to have sex is not going to be determined whether it should come before marriage or after marriage, it will come naturally, since that first day we develop true love for ourselves.

@ Kenflavour i agree with you in a way. I am not saying that i will go after any girl 4  simply sex in the disguise of wanting a solid relationship (hell yeah u can alwayz get sex) but if we are to get into a real serious relationship, a pre exclusion of sex is not acceptable period. Our relationship should be left to define itself, not u to define it 4 me. Funny enough, it is only a woman that i am planning a future with that i really want to get intimate with( not minding the side plays). Sex solidifies relationships. It also breaks others. It boils down to what u want (or rather what we want). If we are going to make progress in our relationship then u can not pre exclude anything. For me, all aspects have to be open. So if any girl comes around me blabbing what i don't want to hear, we might well leave it at the good friend stage. In the long run anyway, even after the marriage, we will still get more or less tired of the sex and what keeps our union together wont be based mainly on the sex(whenever it happened will not be an issue then).

Time and experiences help define a relationship and keep it going in the long run, but many things help in solidifying the relationship.

Money and sex are not to be equated, but the fact is that they are both means of expressing affection and are necessary if a relationship is to be built up(my own views) b/because of the role that they play in building up the relationship. As the relationship grows with time, the inverse effect sets in and those two factors slowly decline in importance. Both however are usually important in adult relationship development. Funny enough, i don't place the utmost importance on it (i believe it comes with time and naturally), but a move to singley isolate it and pre exclude it would not work with me even if the compactibility issue was completely put aside (which i am not saying it will).

Not really, I can do anything 4 a lady i really love, and when i say anything, i mean it. But i dont like girls who start blabing restrictions around me when i have a pure motive towards her. Our relationship has to be allowed to develop on its own. Every relationship is unique and thatz the way i see it. I dont try to take advantage of any lady i am with, but we would let time play a part in defining it. I dont wanta lady thinking i am doing something so i can get to cross a restriction she has set on me.

Jessica has now officially filed 4 divorce. She is not requesting any spousal support. She has hired the divorce lawyer of Jennifer aniston. Her father has taken over the handling of the divorce proceedings.

I think security and image probs have to be adressed first. At times even nigerians in Nigeria bring down the country's image by stealing 4rom the tourists.
Example is that of a british man waylayed from lagos airport on his first visit to Nigeria, and all his valuables collected 4rom him. People where waiting 4 him outside, but the hoodlums were on the inside and got to him first. The British paliamentarians also who were asked 4 additional fees b/because there visa was 'fake'. All these need to be curtailed. As an example i was lost on my first visit to Schipol(amsterdam). anybody that saw me would know, but they did not take advantage of me, rather they helped me till i could figure out my way. That kind of experience leaves a positive mark on your life 4 ever. If somebody asks me about the dutch, il alwayz say they are wonderful.

Some people in the U.S told me that when they visited Nigeria for the first time and saw all the extended family waiting 4 them thay were overjoyed. The people even organized religious services inside the house 4 family members only. At the end of the day however, when most of those who came for the religious services had gone, these guyz also discovered that most of their valuables had gone with them and that was that. They still say Nigerians are one of the most friendly people on earth, but they don't know if they want to go back.

The actual reason i feel religion should be seprated from govt is that religion is strongly associated with un-negotiable dogma, and if it is incoperated into govt, it generally pulls everything back even in a country with just one religion (which is not often the case). When u now add the element of diffrent religious beliefs clashing, then it would amount to shooting ur self in the foot.

People at times clamour blindly for the merging of the state and religion (esp the overly religious ones) without really thinking of the full implications. They seem to associate religious rule with rule by God and that is not usually the case. Countries that are under religiuous rule or are extremely religious tend to drift backward rather than forward. Nigeria is a good example. A country where everybody calls on God like they reverence him and are still the biggest set of thieves on earth. The Saudi mornachy is corrupt too. Their religiousness has not stopped some of the royals from stealing their money too.

I have found out one thing that mixing religion and govt does though, IT REPRESSES ACCOUNTABILITY
