Check any thread where there's an argument pertaining Obi's obvious emergence as the president of Nigeria, it is always mostly between Igbos going against yorubas/hausas. Other regions are always silent and rarely come to the defense of the pro Obi Igbos

Now compare it to GEJ's era. Igbos also came all out for Jonathan, supported him both on and offline thereby making themselves enemies of yorubas/hausas.

Igbos were even more vocal and in the front line during Jonathan's era and took all the ferocious bullets and bullying meant for the Ijaws/SS/ Niger Delta.
Igbos did all these in the spirit of brotherhood and fair play.

Now an Igbo man is in the hot seat. Our Ijaw neighbours are near- silent. The battle has been left for the Igbos alone to fight.

Dr. Abiye Sekibo, has expressed the hope that the people of the State will give full support to the party’s presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, in the February 25, 2023 election.

Sekibo disclosed this while addressing members of a pro-PDP group, the Arewa Democrats, who visited him at his residence in Port Harcourt, the State capital.

He said: “We have work on our hand, we have a job to convince everybody who is of voting age to come out that day and vote for PDP, vote for the umbrella, vote for Atiku Abubakar as President of Nigeria.

“As far as we are concerned in Rivers State, Atiku Abubakar is a son of Rivers State. So, Rivers people will support him in full.”

Sekibo, who is a former Minister of Transport, applauded the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for introducing the use of Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) in the forthcoming general election.

You saw the break down of NDDC budget. The reason you have mandated your AG to challenge some of the proposed expenditure estimates in court.

Why is Rivers state budget a secret document? Why are we only giving the total expenditure and proposed revenue estimates without a sectoral breakdown of the expenditure for the past 7years+ of Wike's administration.

In Chidi Lyold's word "The Rivers state Budget is one of the seven book of Moses". Rivers state is the only state the governor awards road contract without recourse to budgetary provision.

Wike is a hypocrite. During Amaechi's time, one could download the Rivers state budget online. I have the PDF budget estimate of the Federal government for the 2023 fiscal year. The same can't be said of Rivers state.

Talk of one government that is bereft of integrity and transparency, give it to Wike's led government.
