Johannesburg, outskirts though! Are you a big fan of Lenny's as well? |
Love your music Mr Kravitz ![]() |
swoosh: I like! |
. . . . . also why wait until the foetus is fully developed before doing anything about the situation, surely one knows from day one whether they are ready for motherhood/parenthood or not. Some people abort at 6 months, Again, remember I am pro-choice but abortion should not be used as a contraceptive, there are less drastic ways! |
Believe it or not swoosh, I am pro choice, I really am but my issue is with those that condemn single mothers yet they will not think twice about having an abortion or 5 as long as they are unmarried yet they claim God as though only they know what he is about. Again, hypocrisy is the issue here, people should not stand on moral higher ground if they know they got ghosts in their closets, just saying! I still say those that are old enough should have sex but be ready for the consequences. . . . . .I was shit scared of rocking up at home with a belly when I was younger so I would not let it happen! But yeah, situations are different and so are outcomes! |
swoosh:You are talking about extra-ordinary circumstances swoosh, I was talking about those people who abort at will, as if it is the most natural thing to do, have they no conscience? I will not listen to anyone who mocks single mothers while they have possibly aborted a foetus or 3 because they were unmarried or not ready for a child, if that is the case, keep 'em legs together then! |
Unfortunately most people/women would rather abort than be single mothers, very sad. . . . . . .I say if one is not ready for a child, use protection or don't have sex at all. |
swoosh:You are refreshing, while others are finding it hard to deal with inter-tribal marriages within Nigeria, you are encouraging cross-border breeding, very nice, like your mind! Oh NO, I am not popping out little Cockies, no way dude, LOL! |
WOW |
I will marry for love so wherever it takes me, I will flow with it. Talking about "cross-breeding", LOL, you should see the Ewerechukus, got booty like mom while Ikennas are built strong and tall like dad, there are lots of half Naija babies here! Naija friends even joke that this generation of young halves will produce a President in SA. . . . . . . ![]() |
Give the woman sex now, she waited all that time and now is experiencing things she never knew before last month, better stock up on Redbull and other energy boosters and do her good, clearly she is having a good time. There is nothing like "too much sex" sounds like you are having it less than some people actully! |
swoosh:I am a child of the Universe, really, and get along with people from any corner of the world, have Nigerian friends that are dear to me, I looked past the negative stuff said about them and wanted to know the people behind the negative perception, glad I did, most Nigerians I know are really wonderful people. NL is my entertaiment when at work, some of the stuff said here is eye-popping and I sometimes ask myself if the person is joking or not but realise they are being real, we think differently, we are more open-minded while it seems some if not most Naija people are confined by a whole lot of stuff so I find NL entertaining and funny hence my being very active. . . . . . .there is really nothing to it! I actually started chatting on this very same thread and stayed, I am defiant also so when told to leave (as was the case), I stay, that sort of thing. ![]() |
Very true, different strokes for different folks. . . . . .we are individuals and like different things. Same with some SA women who would never be caught dead with a foreign man and actually frown upon such relations. . . . .we are not trying to put anybody down here, wasn't the intention! |
Aspiring model, perhaps? actually thought it was Oluchi before the bust augmentation ![]() |
I stand for truth over patriotism but I get you. . . . . . .all good! ![]() |
A man is not an ornament for display so if he is a good guy and there is chemistry, don't see any problem there! |
El Guapo:. . . . and the less gifted hate on us, it would be sad if it wasn't so funny, the rants are out of this world, stuff primary school fights are made of. . . . ![]() |
swoosh:LOL, I got an average booty, I have seen way bigger ![]() Sandton City good for long lunches, never been to Maponya Mall *blush*, not a regular at Soweto Hangout Spots. . . .my favourite mall is CLearwater, open space, not too busy. . . . . . Mr~Cork: I thought you have moved on Cock!Sagamite:Imagine that. . . . . . .but yeah, somebody needs to pick up a burger and supersize 'em fries with bottomless soda ![]() |
swoosh:Forget Cock, he likes to talk like he knows me or at least my behind, not the case at all! ![]() |
I guess we don't abort as much as Nigerian girls do so yeah, it would be widespread! The nice thing is we don't pretend to be hollier than thou only to commit "murder" when we think people are not looking. . . . .I am pro choice though but anti-hypocrisy! |
@smoosh, nice to hear from someone who has lived with SA women and understands them. We are often misunderstood by those who have only read about us and if they lived among us, they never made any effort to mingle with us to get to know the people behind the "hot bodies" and therefore form unfounded opinions of us based on what they heard from other people. It is a shame. . . . . . . but I have come to the conclusion that Nigerians frown upon inter-tribal dating/marriages, evidently they will be highly negative towards their men marrying "foreign" women or just dating them. |
Yeah girl, 4 months, it was the "singles" like drop and something but done all the way to the end. . . . you sit for 8 hours and pay a lot of money for those so it does not make sense to take them out after a month when you put so much into getting them done. Never again though, taking them out is another story! I will be doing cane/cornrows from now on! |
Used to be a girly 34B before I had my son and now I rock a D cup, love them! |
Ejadamen:I had them on for four months throughout the winter and it was knotted, my hairdresser and her gentle touch could not avail herself and kept messing me around so I got mad and went to the barber to shave it off, I was not prepared to let someone else handle me roughly, break my hair in the process and burn my sculp with relaxer (chemical) and still get paid for it! I am glad I did too because I thought I had missed going natural ONCE again. . . . |
Inked_Nerd:Have a little patience Miss Nerd ![]() |
LOL@ ear length to neck length over night ![]() I know I am not doing singles/braids for a long while, that is what led me to cut my hair in Aug in the first place!!! |
Hey ladies, My hair is growing so nicely, thick and gorgeous, I love it! Still not long enough to braid but I am now patient with it, taking it a day at a time! How is everyone doing? |
You are right Maddy, our hair is easily managed when still wet. . . . .I really don't think baby shampoo is too harsh though, remember it is made for babies so it must be gentle. Personally I am hot yet at the "all natural stage", maybe this thread will make me consider as I get more information and eventually take the plunge into the "natural" world ![]() |
Inked_Nerd:Nice one girl, checking it out now ![]() |
Inked_Nerd:Nice one Nerd, open a thread and see how it goes but that information will be invaluable to "natural" sistas! ![]() |
Ann Marie:Do you smoke the herb then? Just curious! |
