entivector:Unfortunately for some people, HIV/AIDS is a death sentence and stigmatisation does not help in any way. Down here the stigmatisation is not so bad since a lot of people have the disease and medication is readily available and people know they can have meaningful lives if they take care of themselves and the mindset is right. Your girlfriend needs to read on this disease and understand as much as she can and hopefully once she has gained some knowledge, she will know how best to deal with her situation and manage it but is starts with the mind. Good luck to you guys, it takes a strong partner to stick around and be supportive, she is lucky to have you! |
@ OP, it's rough for women out there. . . . . .personally I can't imagine having to downplay my achievements just so I can attract a husband or make him feel secure about himself. A man that is worthy is one that will not be intimidated by his woman's achievements, if he wants to be with her, it will happen regardless. . . . .women should stop nursing shattered men's egos otherwise they have to be happy to always play second fiddle. . . . . . |
A fresh start CityRose? Nice way to start the year I say. . . . . . ![]() YES Drill, a whole thread JUST for you. . . . ![]() |
Orton1_0:I get you a bit of lateral thinking is always nice ![]() |
entivector:I am sorry for what you guys are going through, does she at least know when she got it and who gave it to her or how she got it (it's not always transmitted sexually) I asked where you live because people on here most times talk as though no one in Nigeria has the disease, it's as if it is a Southern African phenomenon/pandemic yet it's global, all are at risk, even married people! |
CityRose:If he is not attacking Naija ladies, then it is the black woman in general, then foreign women on the site and now it is Drill's turn. . . . . clearly he puts on his military gear every morning before logging on! Orton1_0:Would the number of posts show how often a person logs on to read without replying on threads? |
At least she has protected you and did not deliberately try to infect you, some people do that. CD4 count of 300 is a bit on the low side, is she sickly or still healthy? I ask because some people are bedridded around that CD4 count or at least on medication. May I ask where you guys are based? I will tell you why in a bit!!! **PS** I am not a doctor. . . . . |
MOBO444:What has Drill got to do with Zim (Zimbabwean) girls in Manchester? Your thoughts seem to be all over the place or maybe it's just me. . . . . . . |
When did she get it, how did she get it, what is her CD4 count? If you have been sleeping together without protection and you are negative, maybe you are resistant/immune to the virus (lucky you). What are you going to do? (Assuming the story is true since you only dropped a one liner about this very serious matter) |
I stopped counting a long time ago, it was getting confusing! ![]() |
SA Lady:Hahahahahahah, I know it does not take much to piss off most of these people, from experience! where is that thread, make I read nah!!! ![]() |
queensmith:There is definitely more to it than meets the cyber eye, unreal! |
Hey LADY, glad I bumped into you here, I am back, all chilled out after my long holiday.PE was alright, coiuldn't cook own meals so I ended up eating junk and I am not happy about that but it simply means I put in more work and shed the couple of kilos gained. . . . . .I am looking fresh How was your holiday nana, are you well? |
How can such a simple thread bring out so much emotion? SMH @topic A man that does not take himself and life too seriously is a good one for me, some people are just uptight about non-issues! |
Right back at you kwakwakwakwsawkakwak, silly, I should have known you would be the first one to jump! |
Uh, WW3 . . . . . 2011 here we come! ![]() |
I am happy chilling on my own, don't really like going out of my comfort zone (my home), I don't particularly like shopping (go to the mall to get what I want and then walk out, possibly to go home and hang out. . . . . ![]() My being open-minded and not being confined by societal "norms" is rather strange to some. . . . I make my own rules as long as I am not infringing on the next person's rights. . . . |
I know it's 17 inches but wish you wake up with a 12 inch on 01/01 ![]() |
Happy holidays Cock, wishing you loads of sanity in 2011, hope you wake up with a 15 inch rod on 1/01/11 ![]() |

Slap, kindly edit your post where you quoted me, that addy is not supposed to be there permanently, thanks! Creamy, send me something so we do FB later (after gym) so don't be alarmed if I don't respond immediately. . . . ![]() |

Hey Creamy? You good. . . . .long time!!!! |
What are your views? Does it mean you will not ALLOW your wife to drink alc (drinking and getting drunk are two different things, remember that) |
Single parenthood is not the end of the world as many would like to believe, every child needs love and guidance, just because the parents are not married does not mean the child is an automatic failure. . . . . as long as both parents play their role in the child's life, that child will be just as balanced as one raised by married parents. One or two people I know residing in SA have got wives and children back in Nigeria but they live here, surely the absent father is not taking an active role in the child's life and the mother is left to do it all, how is that different from single parenthood!!! Marriage does not equate ever-lasting happiness and well-mannered children with distinctions at school! |
Very nicely done Ejada, love it. I have got two styles in mind for now, I guess I will decide when I get there what I want! |
Everybody is away. . . . .I am also leaving in 5. Happy drinking Kpolli ![]() |
That is so cool Ejada, can't you post a pic (back of your head if you don't want face showing), pretty please! ![]() I am also getting my hair cornrowed in wool when I go to Lesotho in two weeks' time, I will take a pic to post! I am so excited about it (hairstyle)! |
I also want a big FRO Ejada you will have one soon enough, I am still a long way off. I have learnt to appreciate all the stages along the way so I find this little fro cute. . . . . ![]() Ileke, Nerd should be able to answer your question about conditioning your hair, I am clueless about products! |
SA Lady:Nothing in PE, just a drive and a chill session for a couple of days ![]() |
