Your post just summarises my point.

In the old nairaland (pre 2010) you tend to get matured responses to threads for instance a thread post like:

I have a feeling all these chaos around the world and mostly in Muslim societies may be a grand plot, or series of grand plots. May be partly orchestrated by the enemies of Islam but also partly by the ignorance, selfishness and sin-soaked nature of Muslims themselves. Ultimately all these schemes by friends and foes alike plays into scheme of the grand Planner Himself - Allah. Because all these unfolding events serve to degrade and weaken the curruption ridden and entrenched tyrannical structures found all over the Muslim world today. In the end when both the fought and fighter gets wornout or the next generation neither knows nor understand the cause or the course of their fight, swords will be seathed and guns put down, and a deserving peace, unity and tranquility will descend from above on the Muslims. And then, only then will they deserve leadership of the earth and those on it.

@tell you, prepare for the normal 'tell me about yourself', 'what are ur weaknesses and strength' and other routine interviw questions.

Then prepare for some question in ur area of specialty both academic (velocity viscosity and those other craps they teach tech guys like u in school) and current/general (what is the name of the body professional engineers or technicians belong to)

Then get some background knowledge on the company ( they may likely ask u what do u know about total)

Thanks for ur feedback guys, the reason I ask was am not based in Lagos and flight and hotel bills for the test and interviews (if I get invited) won't be small, and besides I already work with a multinational up here in the north with official car and what. But McKinsey is a good company to work with and great challenges it gives u. So they decide to stage a publicity stunt in Africa. They employ services of former staffs and board members who currently work for WHO or it's affiliates to raise the alert level of Ebola to red. Rag tag African countries and their healthcare providers are terrorised into submission (or desertion as is the case of Liberia) with the help of 'doctors without borders'.

Just incase the world is not shaken to donate billions to 'save Africa' add the most populous black nation to the epidemic scare list.(that should do it). Just when the billions are in UN coffers and Africa is on the verge total lock down. An angel (in our case an American pharmaceutical company) comes along with the cure and viola, the show is over.

An American company, parent company or variable interest entity with previously negative cash flow but positive earnings turns into a blue chip company. Some anonymous individual offshore accounts are fixed for some years with millions of dollars and the other companies plan yet again on how to rape Africa again.

Since every body is postulating, hypothesising and theorising about the kaduna bomb blast, from the far fetched, to the incredulous and ones bordering on stupidly. I deemed it fit to put forth my own theory.

The basis of this argument that these atrocious events are perpetuated by the enemies of the north because

- nobody will kill his own people to prove any point
- the fallacious argument that Buhari and other northern leaders finance BH does not hold water, as indicated by this attempted assasination
- the assets and structures of the ruling party has remained intact in all these attacks while innocent lives and oppositions are targeted

The theory is whoever is pushing this troubles in the north or is gaining from it has failed woefully, because the plan is to turn the north against itself on a grand scale, but this hasn't happened, they've killed christains and blamed it on Muslims, they've killed Muslims and blamed it on christains, yet this two communities having fully taking up arms against themselves. So now they've resort to attacking key cleric and key opposition figures to insight riots on grand scale and that has also failed. And May Allah destroy the evil plotters and their plots.

Man is innately designed to know that there exist an authority above him, but man also posses the the power of choice. This latter fact is what causes some to believe in that higher authority while others reject, but then those who choose to reject faith are left with an inner vacuum to fill due to the intrinsic knowledge of a higher being which he chose to reject. They first start as believers in nothing or atheists questioning and attacking faith out of their insecurity and then graduate to devil/self/wealth or worship of anything in a desperate bid to fill the empty vacuum in them.

The choice now remains ours - either to be the slaves to the one true God or to be slaves to our desires/self/wealth/devil. Either ways we are slaves to something.
