Gentlemen, i've followed this post for awhile now and i can say a lot of us have learned a thing or two from each other but i must confess that the recent trend of name calling doesn't go down well with me and i know the same is true for a couple of other individuals on this thread; while i appreciate that a certain level of discretion be applied in the informations we lay out there, i think the same should apply to way and manner we talk to each other here.

The young man made an honest mistake (am assuming he's young) and he acknowledged it by taking down the pictures of captured screenshots, which in my opinion showed maturity, but the fact that the name calling persisted leaves a sour taste in the mouth. i took time to go through this thread and i must confess that stanley08 has been on of the main contributors, so why crucify him for doing what he has always done; which is bear information for us all to learn. We must also understand that this forum is open to all be it young or old; a fact we must hold close to our hearts when we make comments or throw our beefs and name calling, the individual in question might be our father's age or even the CEO of the next company u're employed into and what happens when he finds out ur true identity? Hmmmmmmmmmm SMH

Finally, from the last time i checked; nairaland encourages freedom of expression as is done everywhere in the world, the same freedom of expression that you held on to in order to do ur name calling also gives him the right to post whatever he feels suits him in as much as it doesn't contravene the rules of the forum. That said i must appeal to all on this thread, we're not here to fight or throw tantrums but to share knowledge to better ourselves; at least that's what i feel, so i employ to us to do just that and practice what we preach, which is "to be discreet" in our utterances and in what we post.

Hello guys, after unblocking the mtn mifi , can I use it with all 3g networks (airtel, Etisalat, glo) or just those than fall into the 4g band.

You can use it with 2G, 3G and 4G

Both MIFIs support the NTEL frequency band 3 though for NTEL the 320 has an added advantage cos it also supports the frequency band 8 too, but the 606 has a better band spread when looking at the Nigerian 4G LTE market as the only network it doesn't accomodate is Etisalat

I think Glo has reception in my area. Not sure. However, i work at V.I and I'm sure there is reception there. See. I'm confused on what to do. I can't find a 5573-606. I might go for the Glo if i don't get options.

It's quite a task getting the e5573s-606, I was fortunate to get mine when I did. I would have suggested u visit ikeja, but I guess that'll be out of ur way.

No worries bro, but i'd advise u check the network b4 u get glo esp if u'll be using it at home. At my place glo is crappy, even fustrating atimes. So look b4 u leap.

My ntel expired last week, went to the e-centre and upgraded my MTN sims, got 5gb on each sim and I must confess am impressed with the speed, it's pricy but cool.

I've recharged my ntel sim just waiting to subscribe after I exhaust the 10gb. Might still get the MTN mifi for my wife, make she leave my own alone.

Bro, why stress urself? U already have the MTN 320, just get an unlocked spectranet 606 and save urself the extra cash and headache.

As for me I have the spectranet e5573s-606 maybe i'll just get the 320 from mtn, blow the 20gb and have a reserve mifi, both combined can do all the networks available

Etisalat uses 3(1800)
Ntel 8(900) and 3(1800)
Spectranet and Swift 40(2300)

Please tell me if I'm wrong, it seems to be E5377Bs-605 because that's the one with Glo's 28(700) band.

I'm assuming from the photo below, and comparing the bands of the E5377 glo sells, it should work with all the above carriers. Please refer to the photo below. Thank you

From the analysis above I presume the Glo mifi supports every 4G network in Nigeria for now.

No boss, it's the new one u see on their webpage, it's more recent and works with ntel, that's what I use. The one u're referring to is the B5172s-925

Why don't you unlock the Huawei B310s-927 that you have at about 5k at computer village and use it pending when u get what u want. My 2pences

I redeemed one of my booked sims today, using on lenovo A2010 and there's just one bar here, speedtest shows 2.72Mbps download and 0.26Mbps upload, slower than swift that I want to switch from, though I'm streaming without buffering, at least for now. I'm almost convinced to go for this, signal bar is 1, fluctuates higher to 3 at times.

That's good to hear, yes am still using Ntel; I get one bar in my parlour and two to three bars in the bedroom but it has to be hung up high. Your problem from what you say might be erratic signal strength which may in turn cause flunctating speeds.

However, the final decision is urs to make. All the best
