Maybe this doesn't apply to their Abuja Gloworld, because I bought one earlier today, and I only had to pay 5k for the Mifi and then bought 1k airtime, totalling 6k.

That's a good strategy by GLO cos they nearly lost out to MTN, with the price adjustment let's see what becomes of the competition.

Bros I greet you, how ur side? The 320 doesn't support the band 28 by glo so u'll be restricted to 3G and HSPA+, secondly, on the "only" option, u have 2 options which are the Iranian Web UI, and the Russian UI. So make ur pick and flash ur desired WebUI, all the best...... Cheers

In as much as I could share instructions, I'll only share my challenges and how I tackled them. Some users are here waiting for free info, exploiting the hard work, time and money put into this.

It's back up again but it's epileptic, up and down but functional. So go ahead and try it especially if the network is okay over u.

I only get a maximum of 2bars here, most times i'm stuck on one. So don't let us scare you.

Thot it was just me, same thing here in yaba. Sometimes you don't even get signal at all for almost an hour. At this age and time NTEL is still acting like a toddler learning to walk....... SMH

Get the Alcatel Pop4 plus, it's 36-38k on konga and does 4G on all the GSM networks including Ntel. It only spectranet and Swift that it doesn't cover.

Thanks for the links, but I've even dug deeper than just those.

First link, the procedure is not not complete. There is still a few other things that wasn't mentioned, you need two firmware files (downgrade and upgrade) and no instructions how to unlock proper. Knowledge from previous unlocks will sort that out.

As instructed by Amadika, the usblsafe loader should be used, so that I don't loose the webui (I plan to keep the mtn web ui this time as I never get a hang of the extraction thingy) The routerunlock.com guy asked for $10 for that particular loader file so I dug deeper again to find the particular ones that works with the 322 and found on the balong development page on Github.com

That web ui won't work probably, it has to be from the same E5573cs family. I don't even plan to use any other web ui this time around, I'm sticking with the default one

Downloaded that 21.318 firmware and it won't even work, error 13 update failed. Tried like three different ones and the files from the 320, no show.

Thing is I'm tired sef going round in circles, it's for a client and i have to deliver on time.

Great job frebor, sorry about the bottle necks as usual that's how it always is at the beginning, but let me ask did you use the 322 usbloader bin file? or are you still working with the one for the 320? cos there might be some model specific components that will either allow it work or not...

Na so i see am o... MTN don change am to E5573cs-322, had to take pictures sef. It supports the same bands as the 320 and looks the same, i prefer the black colour though cos that white 320 too dey carry dirty.

One point worth noting is that it doesn't have a antenna (TS9) connector like the 320, i already ordered the antenna from Ali so it can boost my reception, and its different on the inside too (Boot shot things). I'm still working my way through unlocking it as the thing no just gree downgrade, e be like say MTN tight on this one wella.

What did you wipe clean? The IMEI number If yes can u still log into the mifi?? If yes too then u're safe. You can use putty to input the IMEI number, it's still in the video and once that's done and u log into ur UI it'll ask u to re-enter ur WiFi password all of which u can find on the pack and at the back of ur mifi. Hope that helps?

The MTN Web ui would have been preferable, though. I have since lost it on both my MTN 320. I Just wish Huawei would make this Web Uis public so that anyone can download whichever one you want.

Find attached the screenshot of the MTN WebUI, they're other options but i just limited myself to these, as for the extraction bit am also still researching hopefully we'll get something soon.... Cheers

Pls upload the MTN web UI you extracted and direct us on how to access the network only option. I'm ever ready to reflash my web ui.

Unfortunately bro, I don't know how to extract the UI from the mifi, if u have an idea please do share that's why I said if you can get the mifi unlocked just leave the MTN webui. I'll upload a screenshot of the MTN UI with the 2g, 3g and 4g only options as well as the USSD options.

This thread is just about 4 or 5 people making progress. You are happy with the success achieved so far. But no one is interested in helping new ones with step by step procedures. This is where foreign forums excel, there you get people who are ready to outline the procedures for everyone to benefit. I flashed My Samsung Galaxy Note custom rom with the help of members of XDA, they outlined the procedure in clear and unambiguous manner, even newbies could flash custom rom with little or no difficulty. Nigerians will like to have every knowledge to themselves. Ask question, you get no reply. Call on phone, they ask for money for something they never originated but copied from someone. Don't worry guys, when am less busy, i will carry out my own research and come up with step by step procedures.

We're all learning here and great amounts of time has been put in by individuals here who have selflessly given their time and knowledge for people to learn.

Before we got to this stage we had a lot of dudes asking for monetary gratifications just to aid one unlock their mifis, u can go through the thread and check urself, i was a victim at one point where i vehemently asked turned down an offer made by one duchbag and stayed up all night to research on youtube, where i now stumbled on the video by Sallu Hassan which i posted here on the thread and since then people have been unlocking their mifis themselves, recent discussion have shifted from unlocking to the variants on webui avaiable and their basic functionalities; so i take it as rude and uncalled for that you'll come here and directly make accusations on an issue that has long being forgotten.

I will thus advise at this point in time that you render and unresolved apology to members of this humble and hard working thread, who have overcome the norms to set a pace on this esteemed forum and take a few minutes to go through the thread and find your answers.

Nice you finally sorted out the issue with yours. Installing the latest Huawei mobile partner software solves driver issues on your PC.
Don't bother about the MTN webUI because it doesn't have the 2g,3g,4g only option. The Russian WebUI remains the best since you can get the Network only option and USSD on the HiLink mobile software.

Contrary to ur option the MTN WebUI does have the 2g,3g and 4g only options as well as the USSD option too, i have 2 mifis which i unlocked earlier and was able to save both UIs both for the sake of enquiry and exploration i sacrificed one to test other UIs.... And the Russian isn't really the best for me, i kindda still prefer the Iranian UI which has the 2g,3g and 4g only options with the option of USSD using Hilink on android, my option sha ooooooo

Then connect it to your PC via USB. Now, start flashing with the first firmware, and immediately it's successfully flashed, run the Web ui without minding the status of the mifi, and immediately that is successful too, then immediately run the second firmware. Don't bother about the status of the MiFi at any point in time. Just keep flashing them in that order. I think that's where you are getting it wrong.

Thanks dustmalik01 Finally got it to work, first i took out the sim then my anti-malware and ccleaner were messing with the installed drivers; so i had to first stop them and then reinstalled the drivers and it installed without a hitch just like you guys said, once again thanks everyone i really appreciate.

Secondly, how do u get the USSD function to work on the web portal; i could only see check balance and no option to input what you want except via hilink on android where u get all the options just like the Iranian webui, just saying sha oh. If you guys found a way around it then pls share. But it's a lovely UI sha, i wish we could extract that of MTN, some call it crap but i see it as fully functional...... My 2kobo..... Cheers

I posted the solution a while back, but Nairaland antibot banned my main account for nothing after posting it. So, here is what worked for me on the 320

I flashed E5573Bs-320_Update_21.110.99.01.00_nv01, like amadika recommended, then flashed the russian web ui, then flashed E5573_Update_21.180.17.00.00, and it went well without any hitch.

Sorry on the ban bro, i flashed the E5573Bs-320_Update_21.110.99.01.00_nv01 and it completed but never booted back up, only the network indicator would come up without the power indicator, so at the end i had to boot shot it again and reflash E5573_Update_21.180.17.00.00 which seems to be the only update that worked for me after the initial unlock. i've tried it with 4 firmwares and the results were the same, so i've taken it that mine is a peculiar situation and so i've relaxed on the matter, in as much as i have it working and unlocked and i have the option of either the iranian webui or the universal USSD webui i'm fine.

I see. There isn't much difference though. It's just the Russian Web ui has a nicer looking interface, and of course the USSD option embedded into it. I'll try it on my 320 later in the day and see how it goes.

So, I decided to risk and see what happens. Here is what I did. Mind you, I did this on an 606.

I opened this zipped file of Huawei E5573s-606 firmware v21.110.99.03.00, and extracted only the firmware file alone to a folder, leaving the bin files out. Then I also opened the Huawei E5573s-320_firmware v21.180.17.00.00, and extracted only the firmware file to a folder, leaving out the bin files too.

Now, I flashed the above 606 firmware file first. Then after a successful flash, then I flashed the Russian Web ui, and then I flashed the 320 firmware, and everything went fine.

Good to hear, unfortunately i've tried all the 21.110.99 firmwares from the version 02.00, 03.00, 04.00 ........ it'll flash fully but won't boot up; just the network indicator will lite up but the power indicator won't come up, so i had to flash back to 21.180 which seems to be the only one working for me, to bad sha; i'll just have to make do with what i have now.......

hard luck, man. But at least your mifi is running fine again. I was also thinking of doing the firmware downgrade and flash the Web ui, but given your experience, I won't be doing that anymore.

The Iranian Web ui is okay for me, since I have both USSD and 'Only ' network options in the HiLink app.

My brother i tire oh, yeah i got it working again, but as i advised earlier to everyone who cares to listen, if you can get to the point of inputting the unlock code without issues, just enter it; unlock ur mifi and move on. Don't try tweaking oh, the headache plenty.......

I tried it and got the error 19 as well, so both battery and network leds started blinking endlessly. I had to flash back the Iranian web ui for the mifi to start working again.

Same happened to me, but i wanted to see it to the end and went ahead to downgrade to the firmware 21.110 Bleep, bros na him wahala start oh. The mifi just stuck to just the network indicator being on, everything i did was zero, so i had to boot shot again and reinstall the former firmware 21.180 Bleep and reflashed the iranian webui; only to find out that my imei had wiped off to 000000000000000, so i had to use putty to rewrite it back to the mifi.

so that's how we rolled.....lol, it was kindda fun sha
