cris83: If the engineer brought his own router and got such speeds, why didn't you tell him to slip in his sim into your own router and check it too? It's probably your router that's the issue with the sim. That's another factor you can't leave out. Bros read his original post before this one, this was treated. The issue is not the router nor the SIM, unlimited Sims are throttled whether u believe it or not. While capped subscription Sims are free to hit the highest speeds allowed by the network.... That's the point he's trying to make. |

zekepio: @wilmaria14 built a very trusted brand in just a matter of weeks and everyone that has done business with him attests to the quality and credibility of his service and goods. He rarely post adverts (maybe twice a week?) I don't see that as a problem. If you want him to create a thread for his business and stop posting here that'd be denying many people the reliability and credibility of wilmaria14. How many people will know about his thread? If he sticks to his 2 adverts a week I think that shouldn't bother you or anyone except you're a hater!
PS: @wilmaria14 I also think you should create a thread but only to catalog your goods and reviews and yeah you should stick to posting your adverts here!!! Thanks for ur input and concern, but did u read and understand what I wrote or u felt obliged to throw a defence? Was the bolded called for? Did I in anyway say he shouldn't post his adverts? My words were clear except u don't understand it's meaning, "stop littering" is not stop posting and the reason was simple "because information no longer sync with resolutions". As much as I would want to state a few glaring facts, I will stop here and hope the next time you quote someone or make a statement referring to someone, you have ur facts straight.... Thanks for your time and do have urself a wonderful day ahead. Cheers |

Hello everyone, hope we all are staying safe.
While I commend the good work of wilmaria14 and all resellers in the house, I believe it has gotten to a stage where they should create their own thread and stop derailing this thread.
It has become necessary as Information on various issues are now.lost to adverts and there's no sync in resolutions anymore.
By these @wilmaria14 please stop littering this thread with adverts, create a link to ur thread and share it where applicable. Thanks for ur understanding...... Cheers |

odimbannamdi: Boss, you have been most helpful. I really really appreciate.
Looking at the Quanta, it is one brand i wanna keep. Mehn! a lot of work went into creating a Quanta. It is so solid, weighs heavier and finely built. Little wonder a new one costs an arm.
Having said that, i will go with option 2. But i am also thinking of buying and using that dollarnaira's "juju-charger"... ...to charge it instead. What do you think? Does it produce the recommended voltage?
Using the battery switch sounds like a good idea too. I will research on it. Good choice my brother, find attached a picture of the switch am talking about from Jumia, u can also source locally, some people also make use of a knife switch but it's advisable you affix an isolator on the positive cables (which also looks like the battery switch) to avoid sparks. On the issue of the "juju" charger, be aware that the charger outputs voltage in excess of 14.3 - 14.4v on normal battery mode but the good news is it has a dedicated lithium charging switch, so I presume it should be in the range of 13.8v or thereabout, which should work just fine. So let's see how it works.... .

odimbannamdi: Guys, these are th recommended charging voltages of my Quanta and Sinergy 200ah batteries.
Is it advisable to use both a 12v inverter system connected in parallel? The inverter has a charge voltage of about 14.5v
If no, please what are my options? First and foremost, you can't use the inverter with the quanta as the charging current is too high for it, but it will work perfectly for the synergy. Based on the above, I have 3 suggestions, first is to swap ur quanta for another battery model with the same chemistry as the synergy as in the same float and absorb ratings. You either sell the quanta and buy what u want or do a direct swap. Secondly, u could create 2 banks with the inverter charging the synergy while you get a suoer digital battery charger that maxes out at 13.8v float and 13.5v absorb to charge the quanta independently; then use a battery switch to alternate between both, with the quanta always serving as ur back up bank while the synergy acts as the main bank. Third would be tedious but worth considering, you can get an inverter with adjustable charge and cutoff inputs, using a battery switch alternate between the two and adjust the charge and cutoff as desired depending on the battery u're using..... Just my 2 kobo..... Cheers |

Psychodavidovic: For anyone who cares to know, Swift Unlimited is not unlimited (Talking about the 25k plan which was formerly 19k then 24k before 25k)
On the website it says there is no data cap and the only cap is the speed which supposedly 4MB/s but to get even 1MB/s is impossible. All i see is 510Kbps at best. It used to be better than this but suddenly went bad. I am convinced there is a FUP in place but as it was not stated on the swift website, I can't help but imagine what theirs is. I haven't even used up to 200GB in total for the month so it is definitely below that.
The reason why i say it has an undisclosed FUP and has nothing to do with coverage area is because of two reasons. One is that fact that i didn't find it difficult getting 3MB/s while i was on the plan that had unlimited only at night (This speed was 3MB/s both during the day when i was using the bundle and during the night when the unlimited kicks in).
Second reason is that fact that one of swift's engineer just left my house after coming to "fix" the issue. In fixing the issue, he removed his SIM which has an active subscription (not unlimited) from him router to mine and it worked well, even reaching 6MB/s from the same exact place i kept my own router. He did the same with my SIM and the result was exactly what i had feared - capped on both my router and his, from the exact same location he just tested his and got 6MB/s.
Why all these shalaye? To help you know how it is before spending that 25k in search of true unlimited. Well said but I still feel it's unlimited but based on speed. I've performed the same exact test with 2 Sims one capped and the other "unlimited". Speed is capped but volume is left to what u can manage. Unfortunately, it seems to be the best we have for now except u're doing fibre optics which is restricted but the huge initial cost and the wired connection which means u're immobile |

wapSmart: Need a good music player and best launcher for the phone oh As suggested by SILENTandSMART2 nova is still the best, you could also try poco launcher by xiaomi, reason being they conserve ur battery better than most, for music players, if you're an audiophile and like balanced sound then get poweramp, u might need to pay a token to get the premium version but u get the premium content free for one month, if u still don't want to buy just go to app info and clear all app data and u'll continue enjoying the premium service..... cheers |
