Brethren! The height and force at which my A3S fell yesterday ehn, I had already given up on the screen because the sound of it falling even shattered my heart. But to the wonder of UmiSpirit, my screen didn't break o just a few scratches on the protective film (Yes, I don't use tempered glass. I hate it!).

4g on glo has to do with the bands not all states supports the two glo 4g bands. Like here in ph only one works.

When I go back to owerri the other one works

Ph own is 28(700) while owerri os 3(1800)


Check if your phone has any of these bands

Umidigi has all the LTE bands available, so his case might be that of non-avalability of any of the bands, if there's no 4G u can't force it.

And correction on the bands available in Owerri, there band 3 and 28 available, band 28 has always been there before band 3 was added last year...... Cheers

You can dail this code to lock your sim on 4G.

Click phone information.
Phone 0 is SIM 1.
Phone 1 is SIM 2.

Under the drop-down options click LTE only.

If you no see signal after 30 secs, know say 4g no dey your area or your SIM no support am.

Hope one can receive calls on the same sim after this?

Make sure to make a video of when u are unwrapping the item before u can win this type if dispute

I think this should be the new norm. Once u get a product that's liable to defect by bad handling, just do a video when opening and if it's okay, simply delete the video and move on.

Phone didn't fall, already turned it off n on when noticed . Cleared camera data . Still I get that on any camera app I use .

Try running ur phone in safe mode for about 1-2hrs and give us feedback....

no issues or what so ever with my A5Pro bought in February, F2 bought in May

except the new update for the A5Pro makes the the phone hot when charging now... other than that no noticeable difference since I updated it last week

Hard restart ur phone by pressing and holding the power button till the phone restarts itself, do this 2-3 times at intervals and give us feedback.

NB: For anyone who cares to listen, no one here is paid by umidigi, we all bought devices just like you and only got to know the device better by use and research.

No one should come here with a self righteous attitude to state anything, we lay the the pros and the cons on the table and if u make an informed decision based on that, then u're entirely responsible for ur action.

Let's even take it that all that's said is true. So if u all didn't have issues we wouldn't even know u bought a phone? Typical Naija way.... Abeg I come in peace

Hello guys

my phone charge slow when it get to 80 percent. Some times it take close to 40mins fr 20 percent to enter to make it 100. I bought a new charger from AliExpress still the same issues. What could be the fault here

There are certain algorithms to battery charging, there's bulk, float and trickle charge. From 0 -70% the speed is astronomical in order to fill up ur battery as quickly as possible just in case u need to unplug and use.
From 70% it enters float where the speed drastically reduces to protect ur battery from overheating, at about 80 -85% it enters trickle charge which takes quite awhile cos the battery is topped up slowly till it's full to balance off the charging process, infact half the charging time happens btw 70 - 100%.

While we crave fast charging, we also advocate for sensible charging as constant fast charge depletes battery life. In line with this most phone manufacturers put in software stopgaps to help prevent this degradation, u might be seeing that in play at the moment.

So my advice is charge ur phone sensible there's a reason why..... Cheers

Am an advocate of stand alone charger and stand alone inverter. I dont gbadun both together.

Each has it's cons and pros. For the combined inverter you can leave it on ups mode and it automatically switches when there's grid supply or when supply goes off, if u find one with a good self consumption and charge algorithm and adjustable charge parameters then u're in heaven. But most times it's always difficult.

Meanwhile the off-grid inverter have lower self consumption, and a greater efficiency level. They also take u longer cos they have a lower DoD than the grid type but time that's the only difference I see.

However, with my icellpower x4 echo inverter, I think I have the best of both worlds, too bad that inverter is scarce in the market now.

Is it possible to use local updates to install an old software update? Like reverting back even after upgrading to the latest.

Slap Ur phone on Ur left hand for some time and test again, a lot of people have had their Earpiece working again after that..... It was discovered that the earpiece wasn't set properly and so falls out of contact with the board.
