Why don't you share the information here so that others can learn .... that was the reason why we all gather here to share information to help each other
You mean like sharing the coordinator's contact number on a faceless forum? many people were able to make it via that route because it remained classified.

I see people mentioning EU law, Norway is not part of the EU. That said, he must have committed a grievious offence to be deported, EU and Nordics countries have protocols which is duly followed. Human rights violation is next to zero, if he was deported wrongfully, he should get a good lawyer.

Saw this here https://www.tlu.ee/en/masters-studies

60% is 3.00/5.00 CGPA, I have 3.30 (66%). Is the information on the website outdated or something?
Check country specific requirements

Maybe I should just go for Bsc then, what do you think?
Not a bad idea, that's what many are doing anyways. Just have a well structured plan, you have enough time, go through the university websites and check there requirements ( although changes from time to time) ...all the best

Thanks for the quick response. Apologies for summoning you. I also see that one is advised against TTU and TLU (hope I got that right) if with 2.2. Please which schs accepts 2.2
None of them accept 2.2 , University of Tartu accept 2.2 but very very competitive as it's the best university in Estonia, a strong motivational letter might help tho. Another University that accept 2.2 is Mainor, but the tuition no be here o, about 5k euros.

@Saintsquare
lease, I want to confirm if this information is still valid as regard the amount to have in bank account as POF.
Try to have up to at least a million, none can determine the specific amount the embassy requires, so having more funds will give even you rest of mind. However, the inflow of the cash also matters .

There are many Nigerians above the age of 30yrs starting all over in Europe from undergraduate level. Talk to your brother, tell him the truth. It's better to start all over in Europe than in Nigeria. Moreover, promise him you will be sponsoring yourself once you commence your studies and show some enthusiasm. My two cents....

Advice is needed urgently please

My sister application for bachelor degree got rejected by VMU, she applied with WAEC WITH GOOD GRADES, the below is the email copy received;

Your application to Vytautas Magnus University regarding [BA] International Politics and Development studies has been rejected.

I regret to inform you that after reviewing your application documents the Admission Committee of the university has made the decision that you are not eligible for bachelor degree studies as your previous education results are too low and overall motivation.

We wish you all the best to find the education fitting your needs and future prospects.

Vytautas Magnus University

PLEASE IS THERE ANY GUARANTEED SCHOOL SHE CAN APPLY THAT CAN GRANT ADMISSION and like i said she has WAEC ONLY.

Your suggestions and advice will be highly appreciated.

MRU will give her admission and the school ain't bad tho .... application deadline is June 30

Thank you Ggetter50. Can I be granted a work permit from any other Schengen Country while still studying in Hungary?
The main purpose of your permit in Hungary is for studies, finish your studies before thinking of getting a work permit from another Schengen country.

You are not restricted to any working hours in Estonia, no limitations so far it doesn't affect your education. So, students do lots of hours to earn more.

Many blacks work in office in Estonia, working with multinational companies like APL, Arvato, Verif, TransferWise, Taxify, Wolts, DPD, ABB, Myjar, Monese, and more while some other students work in Bakery, Hotels, Laundry. It's very hard to seeing International students without any reasonable thing doing to make a living.

In Finland, it's rare to seeing black people working in offices like in Estonia, but your journey towards citizenship and amount of money you earn in Finland is better than Estonia. Day to day activities is easier in Estonia because of the technology compare to Finland. While both countries are tech savvy, Finland is more manual and to me, it's a little bit stressful compare to Estonia. If you have experienced both countries, you will know that, there is little or no difference in buying raw food stuffs in both places, especially if you are buying food from Lidl in Finland, you can actually compare that to Estonia. Meat is generally cheaper in Estonia, as well as buying fast food from the restaurant compare to Finland.

If you don't have huge money to put inside your account for Finland, Estonia is better as your chances of getting visa is high. But again, they don't have embassy in Nigeria. Ain't an excuse anyway because many Nigerian students have scaled through the hurdle.

To others, if anyone of you have access to Poland, Hungary, or Portugal, please go for it. We all have different budget and fingers are not equal. Don't be afraid that your life will be worst in the so called "second class European countries" but be happy that your life will start to getting better. These countries are ×5 better than Nigeria, and actually a stepping stone to greatness. Someone says Poland is cold, anyway, that's not actually a cold compare to Norway, Finland, Sweden, and Estonia. If that is your fear, then the Northern Europe ain't for you.

To be frank, more than 50% International students in Europe (Non-English speaking countries) are aspiring to relocate to English speaking countries. You are restricted to some opportunities because of language, but this is not what you can be scared of as many guys are really making it based on hard work and determination. Combining studies with work is not easy, but I bet you it is 100% doable.

I wish everyone all the best!
You definitely know Estonia very well ...... wink

I'd gone through checks, on board the plane, sat on my seat, had seatbelt put crossed through, suddenly from no where fright appeared and just about when the health and safety demonstration was to commence, i asked for permission to leave. They asked why and i said flight fright and it was okay as i couldn't fly on that plane. funny thing that caused my loads. well It is Well. All i am trying to say is that flying is scary.
You are just like me, flight scares the shit of me, I have flown about 8 times, I always have my ear phones glued into my ear drum for hours lol. What calmed me on Emirates is that the screen shows rainfall when there's turbulence, meaning nothing to worry about. I'm thinking of going on vac in August and I'm already getting scared of flying in advance grin

sweetmelanin:
The sad truth is that the grace for moving abroad is GONE.

Those who are enjoying abroad now are the children of immigrants who moved in the 1990s . Some of these millenials now hold dual citizenship and are accustomed to both ways of life. They can visit Nigeria as they please and yet enjoy the privileges of a US/UK/EU/Canadian passport. They have solid roots abroad as they grew up there (childhood friends, family members around etc..)

New immigrants will definitely struggle as it's easier to be depressed in a country where you have no roots.
