The Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Polytechnics, SSANIP, has embarked on a 14-day warning strike starting from Jan. 4 to press home their demands.


The directive to embark on the strike is contained in a release signed by the Acting National Secretary of the association, Comrade Emmanuel Enyiegor on Monday in Calabar.

The reason for the strike according to the association was occasioned by the constant neglect of the demands of the association by federal and state governments, inspite of several efforts made.

“This is to bring to the attention of all the members that the General Executive Council had on Dec. 17 2020, approved the commencement of 14-day warning strike with effect from Jan. 4.


“Members are by this notice directed to refrain from going to office from Monday Jan. 4, 2021.

“We demand the immediate re-evaluation and implementation of NEEDS assessment report and release of funds for the Polytechnic sector without further delay.


“We demand the complete payment of salaries and arrears of minimum wage for staff in the Polytechnic sector starting from the period of implementation in April 2019.

“We demand for the release of scheme of service for Polytechnics immediately. This has been put on hold by the National Board for Technical Education for three years without any concrete explanation,” the release stated.

The Association however, expressed displeasure with the state governments of Benue, Cross River, Abia, Ondo, Ogun, Osun and Kano for their refusal to nonpayment of correct outstanding salaries to staff of the Polytechnics and Colleges of Health.

“The union decries the nonchalant attitude of the Integrated Personal Payroll Information System to issues of SSANIP as regards salaries of members.

“We demand the constitution of Governing Councils in all federal and state Polytechnics,” the release stated.

buy red oil cheap doing the raining season is very then, stock and sell toward Nov and make bastard money. u can be selling normal price doing d raining season but make sure u stock up very well. u will count ur money in millions thank, if you have enough money u can do d same in sugar. rainy period product falls drastically and increase drastically around sept, Oct, Nov, dec, Jan, fed, March.

I do this biz, I know what I am saying, the reason why I am not a millionaire now is because I didn't have enough money to stock. because my prediction happened.
for eg
earlier around August carton of peak sachet milk was 9,300. I told my uncle to borrow me 5millons told him my plans of which he refused. now carton of peak sachet is 10,800. n ppl are buying it like crazy had it been I stock 1000 carton calculate and know the gain.
and prediction I saw was noodles and spaghetti, I had flour increase, and I know DAT noodles n spag will increase eg ppl where buying carton of superpack 3550(quantity price) to sell 3600 retail price. had it been I stock 1000 superpack indomie I would have made money, because around nov, superpack went scarce and ppl where selling 4000, 4100.

DAT is my 2 cents

Good morning nairalanders...and happy new year..I just need you to tell me what to do I need an advice from you all...have been in relationship with this girl and it's gonna clock two years this year....so been watching her since last year....I'm the one that calls always...but she'd never return the call...she do call before around that last year April when things are still good..even post me do all sort of things....but when I'm little financially down everything just stopped..she'd never call if I don't call...she'd always complain she doesn't have card to call....so I was just watching her and decide to keep mute and see what's happening... around October...my business start kicking in again.. but I'm still pretending like I don't have to see what she's up to...but I send her the little i can...ever since then she doesn't just call..any little thing she'd say is over and block and come back begging again....around November last year she said she wanna learn a job and i said no problem... I talked to the girl she wanna learn cake from and she said 60k..I promised to pay..but I was just thinking if I let her do won't this girl backstab me later....she also said she wanna learn wig...which I promise to give her too..but I'm just reasoning everything.... I take very good care of this girl....I do all what she needs...we actually see on the 25th of December....whereby i gave her some money for Christmas...after 25th...she was still troubling me telling me I'm not giving her attention...whereby I channel all my attention to her...where things start mixing up was at dec 31..whereby she was disturbing me I must send her money on the 1st of January... but I decide not to just to see what she really wanna do...she never called on the 1st ....all she do is send an happy new year message and then ask for money.....so yesterday I called her and tell her we need to talk about our relationship...that it seems she's tired...she said maybe I might be tired that I'm using the trick on her..and I just have to say everything on my mind... all she do is just break up and block me...it was painful though...
