I've never heard of anyone of them before much less of their music except tonto dike and that's because she's a nollywood actress and she's capitalizing on that unfortunately her songs are bs

whoever compared Airforce1 with canibus needs to go get his brain thoroughly checked.
his track was an insignia & escutcheon of excellent wackness

I wonder why Nigerian musicians don't take out time to develop their skill first . ✘
beyond that airforce needs a mentor. Something like wizkid/banky w, justin beiber/Usher. They'll help model their character and help them cope with fame and criticism. All this irrelevant gragra airforce is doing is because he doesn't have a mentor that will shape his music

Your advice was exactly what flavour applied to his music career. He organised small shows in his area for his people. Same with 2 face and it was his people who were impressed that helped them market their work. Their humility to helped but Mr such a diva is underestimating the power of fans

he should go and ask
Honestly I haven't heard this track but what thing I know is the song isn't the worst, worst tracks have made it big in nigeria, what actually spoiled everything for airforce1 is the hype he gave his tracks. I got some tracks from ppl and they gave me the names of the artistes as small doctor and qdots, the point is as dangerously wack as their songs are ppl still love it and are always playing it simply because they allowed the song to grow on ppl. If they had gone to channels or mitv to broadcast their singles most likely they would have killed their prospect. The bitter lesson here for other upcoming artistes to learn from the mistake airforce1 made, always allow the music to sell itself and grow on ppl , organise small shows in ur area ,perform ur music to them , they are the ones who will broadcast you and spread ur music , don't go on the internet and be telling the whole world u will soon join dbanj and wizkid at the kora awards soon . MARKET YOUR MUSIC . Marketing is a very complex thing and it is very important to get the marketing right. Airforce1 chose the wrong marketing strategy for his music or product which raised the expectation of ppl about his talent and music beyond his level of competence and delivery. Upcoming artistes should try and devout time to formulating marketing strategy as much as they do for rehearsals. Oliver twist is a complete wack but it became dbanj greatest hit due to the marketing strategy employed by don jazzy which was to organise a global dancing competition for it and that made the song grow on ppl.
Lol . leave him let him keep putting up with the bad attitude. He'll learn the idris abdulkareem and nice alapomeji way who couldn't handle fame grin
capip120:
You no see am? Accept criticism you know gree eh. Honestly I expected much from you after all the hype and praises you were garnering from nairaland including likes from me. After all to whom much is given much is required abi my people no be so?
If this is how you react when the truth is being thrown at your face then, give it up already. All those people saying you tried and are giving you the dope and drugs comment are not helping you at all. The song to me was wack and lacks content and it's not catchy to the ear. Sorry but that's the plain truth.
Lastly, learn to accept criticism the way you reacted to this piece is Juvenile and shows you still need character molding to enable you accept criticism.
Only a true friend will tell you to the face of your misdoing and not ass lickers. sad
Music/Radio › Re: My Advice To Airforce1 And Other Nairaland Upcoming Acts by SAMBARRY: 9:22am On Jun 21, 2015
Lol funny how people feel good criticizing others.

I remember when airforce used to bash musicians, actresses and other celebrities now he's on nairaland spotlight he's getting edgy.body dey pepper am as they're criticizing him. He's forgotten when he used to call some celebrity ladies ugly and fat. If he cannot cope with nl criticism I wonder how he'll cope when Linda ikeji and the nigerian fans descend on him

he wants to enjoy the fame but he doesn't want the bashing from left right and centre that comes with being a celebrity or being in the spotlight
Music/Radio › Re: My Advice To Airforce1 And Other Nairaland Upcoming Acts by SAMBARRY: 9:13am On Jun 21, 2015
Airforce you are saying this section is boring. You better look at people like abdulkareem idris how he ruined his career. I'm sorry for you

this morning before I went to bath my daughter I was listening to Justin beiber if I was your boyfriend and sean Kingstons beautiful girls as well as joe good girls and kelvin little turn me on, shaggy-strength of a woman
R.kelly-chocolate factory
toni braxton-be a man

Do you know how many years those artists produced those songs, do you know how many stages of criticisms those artists went through

go and check how many times song critics called their work wack

note that when you blow critics will be no where to be found moreover if you don't work on your attitude it'll destroy your career.

Lol I'm not surprised because in every field of endeavour there are always sycophants

haven't you noticed that songs sang as way back as 1992 by tupac and other rappers like pididy can still be listened to even in 2015 by other nationals but I cannot even listen to tongolo talk more of other nationals. He should go and ask people like angela kidjo, lagbaja and all how other people from other countries listen to their songs even the ones they sang years back. How they were able to perpetrate countries yet beat language and cultural barriers.
lordhugo:
Everybody who liked this your comment are your 'REAL ENEMIES' .

They want you to be stuck at the level you are currently on.

Your song's production was below average. It was done in such a way that I could not Appreciate your lyrics (That one sef is another story).

This track is a poorer quality of COCOBUTTER by CHARASS (cocobutter is a very wack song but production was well above average. That gives you an idea of my opinion).

Content matters. Though you could continue singing "CONTENTLESS" songs you still need a good template (production and mastering).

Do not be comfortable with where you are (NAIRALAND's Unblown Star).

Reach for the stars!

If I get to hear you on a well produced number, I will then form an opinion on you yourself.

.. Lest I forget,

Your track's File name is "SEARCH YOUR DIVA"

....But all I de hear na "SUCH A DIVA"

huh

The truth is bitter but it's better, so airforce go and come back better. I trust u that is not your best .
exactly. Even Michael Jackson was criticized in his early years of his music career, same with other music legends of various genres before they became giants so before you think they're all attacks listen first
