It's good for prominent sons and daughters to give back to their communities.
Some of the personalities you are asking what have been their contributions to Ika land, already have projects that are benefiting the Ika nation. Except like Oliver Twist, you are asking for more, which is okay and expected. |

Humanoid01: Why is everything about gender war to you lot on this forum? Are you people wired to always play the gender card in every situation? If she was a male, it wouldn't have stopped me from stating my opinion, so don't get me involved with your gender banters.
Fine, the dude was wrong for judging her wrongly but that still doesn't justify the long list of curses she placed on him. Whether he deserves it or not, such words can only come from a venomous and unforgiving heart. In the absence of a law court, he actually got a "life sentence" and that's an unfair judgement coming from a sentimental judge.
"It will never be well with you. Anywhere you go the shadow of death will haunt you. Anywhere you go rejection will follow you. Anywhere you go in this new month trouble will be waiting for you. Nothing good will come your way throughout the month of March nothing good will come your way. Helpers will be far from you. Whatever good thing you seek you will not find it. Even when you cry to God He will not respond because you have broken the hedge."
Haba! Just look at that. How could someone settle down and take the time to type that without thinking about the gravity of those words? That's a proper manifestation of wickedness. How can you stick up for someone like that? That says a lot about your person. SMH! For a believer, nothing justifies such bile. I never expected such from Ishilove, whom I believe is my kins woman. Please to all, enough of the venom. There's already much hate in the world! Peace! |

I never met her in person but somehow she shared some of her struggles here on nairaland. An orphan, lost the only brother and now she is gone!

I abhor any form of domestic violence. It's always my prayer that nothing will make me hit my wife or anyone. However, heaven knows I will never allow myself to be a victim of domestic violence. As for reporting to God or any other 'daddy', it's my wife that will be doing the reporting not me.
Let me use this opportunity to pray that peace will visit every troubled home in our community. |

When my lecturer Prof Nwagha Uche ,unec ,said back then 2008 in physiology class that 1in3 Nigerian children in town don't belong their biological father we doubted him. There was no need to doubt the Prof given the rate of immorality has been on the increase long before now. As concerning partners/couples, 'blind' trust is an expensive commodity. |

privaldo: There's no problem though, whenever you've the time I will be ready just quote me in a dead thread. We are not at war with each other. I like your disposition so far on this conversation. So mature! Apart from the identity issue being discussed here, there's a deep mistrust between the Igbos on one hand and on the other side ethnic groups like the Ikas and Ukwuanis in Delta State. Your posture so far here can foster a healthy discussion, but a number of folks from the south east seem to have a more of ownership claim to ethnic groups in Delta North. |

obailala: Hmmm... Lucky Eluonye Onyenuchea Irabor, an Anioma man has just been appointed as a service chief but there're still cries in the open about PMB not appointing Igbos in the military?... Going by the current sentiments, a Delta Igbo man apparently isn't a 'proper' Igbo man...
When it's convenient, we claim all of Anioma land, Igbanke in Edo, some parts Benue and half of Rivers state as Igboland; but when it comes to politics, we thoughtlessly discriminate and ostracise these people even publicly all because they aren't from the south east zone... and we wonder why non-southeastern Igbos have sworn to never accept their Igboness? You have stated the fact! |

With what I have seen and heard among married folks, trust is a very expensive commodity to have for your partner. Even God does not trust us to remain sinless after repentance, hence He made provision for forgiveness.
If you have doubts, no matter how small, go for a DNA test. You don't have to tell your wife.
Love your wife/husband but never you trust blindly. The heartbreak that comes with betrayal of trust can kill. |

Same story happened in Ogoja Cross River State. It happens, it's not about tribe. Truth be told it's prevalent amongst the Igbos. I have them as friends, my brother is married to an Igbo lady and my sister is married to an Igbo man. My sister's husband is alive and well, but trust me this issue been discussed here is already staring her in the face. My advice to any lady from outside marrying an Igbo man; be prepared! |
