Romance › Re: He Is No Longer Attracted To His Wife To Be by Samcent: 5:20pm On Aug 08, 2020 |
fykes: U see ur opening statement, it's a huge lie. Infact u should have a degree in lying. I dated my wife for 3 years and have married her for 5years and not only do I find her attractive and sexy, I will never cheat on her. And while u think its something huge it's not. Many men are doing it. Before I married, I worked in a multi national, I played the field and there's really nothing a woman can throw at me now in d way of physical attraction or seduction. Cheating isn't only greed and selfishness, it's disregard for God and marital vows and I won't be found with such deadly sins ever. Nice one guy! May the Lord help you keep to your vows because temptations abound everywhere! |

IdowuRufai: If you don’t know, please ask and do not Resort to insults that’s why Threads like this are created for educational purposes. Agbor is made up of a couple of kingdoms, I’m sure where you reside is Agbor Town and probably don’t know where this is. You have also heard of Agbor Railway complex in owa-oyibo area, it’s not in Agbor but it’s still named Agbor, same with Agbor village. Do you know Julius Berger had a big camp in Abavo, you must have seen their trucks often picking and dropping people in Agbor. The truth is, Julius Berger built this village and their staff lived here while they were walking on the rail project on this route, this village, that have everything, hospital, recreational facilities et al was somewhat their operational - live in, village.
When the project along this corridor was completed, this village- where they once lived was handed over to the federal government a couple of years back, I think in 2013. Thanks for the enlightenment. I have been to this railway community some years back. Trust me, a good number of people living in and around Agbor don't know about this railway village. |

While it's good to hear the husband 's side of the story, there's no justification whatsoever for the violence melted to this woman.
Again, nobody should give up his or her source of income solely because of their partner's perceived sense of insecurity. This is because trust issue is a fundamental issue and must be addressed as such.
What I don't understand is what stops this woman from putting the said husband in police custody for physical assault?
As much as I like marriage, life first before marriage. |

To summarise she had some marriage troubles then kept posting about it to nairaland then her husband found out and apparently left her. Although I'm not sure if they stories are 100% true it is truly worth a read. I still don't understand why people post their marriage issues on a social media platform. God forbid bad thing, anything that will make me bring my marriage troubles to a place like nairaland, know that the marriage is over already. Private issues should be handled privately. If it goes public, then it's most likely already out of control. |

He was gentle, humble, dedicated to duty, very approachable and a father to all in the department.
I still remember his efforts in ensuring that I graduate from the department.
May the good Lord comfort his family and friends.

Brock1: thanks, the problem is majorly money, I have lost a lot, and still lost d job I was saving little from, still set up a biznes , competitors rose up at strategic places that's limiting my customers access to me. I have been knocked down severally in this life, and still managed to stand, I'm just thinking of just giving up, in d end I will still die . Believe me, you should be very grateful to God. Why? You are facing a challenge that will go away with more or much money in your pocket, not one that all the money in the world cannot solve. And there are quite a number of life hurdles that money can't help you scale. You will not meet such hurdles! I'm not a businessman, but if you abandon the thought of giving up, and look carefully in and around you, you will get ideas on how to improve your financial or business outlook. As it concerns money problems, more than 70 percent of Nigerians are in the same shoe as you. No man will leave this world alive, but it will be pure cowardice to leave by one taking his/her life. In life quitters never win and winners never quit! Be a winner by not quitting! Cheers! |

My friend, do you mind sharing exactly what these challenges are? I may not have answers for you but you can never tell some kind hearted member may be of help. Please, I beg you in the name of God, no matter the challenge you are facing , never ever take your life. Never! To him that is joined to the living there's hope. For a living dog is better than a dead lion. Every new day is an opportunity to overcome! Don't throw that opportunity away forever! I look forward to reading your success story soonest! I want to add my voice to your second point. This forum has too many folks who will waste no time in throwing insults at anyone or anything that challenges their ignorance. There's need for people like WikiGuru to contribute more on this platform so that we don't just discuss but also learn at the end of day. My 2cents. |

4ckz: Thanks, you don't know how much motivation this is. I was already planning on stopping any thing coding, I thought it was useless to me. Don't give up. Just try and identify gaps, in service delivery for example, as it concerns your practice. Then ask yourself, which of these gaps can be bridged with a program or software? |

4ckz: I am in the medical field, but I learnt html, css and javascript.
I am just confused as to what to do with the knowledge, and what more languages should I learn?
Please someone should advice me Depending on the aspect of medical field and your interests: 1)Data Analysis, in which case you have to add python skills (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, seaborn libraries etc). This will be helpful in epidemiology /medical statistics related work. 2) Web App Development; django framework(if you choose python language) will come handy. You can build an electronic health records (EHR); an app for booking a medical appointment etc. 3) You can write programs to automate certain tasks or operations in your practice. My area is Public Health. I have an app I'm still working on, though it's already deployed , that helps mothers/caregivers keep to appointments with their primary health care service providers. |

Mayflowa: When I am in government, I am going to look for you to lead my critical projects. The guy meant no harm but adding flesh to what the OP has said. Or are they not wanting Nigerians to speak on their perspectives from Nigeria? I study in US. There are rich Nigerians here for those working with graduate degree in health and quantitative sciences, including accounting and statistics. But there are also tons of Nigerians living from hands to mouth.
Overall, it is easier to survive here even if you do mania jobs. Some people complain to much because they were asked money. If you don’t have, say you don’t have. But it will be absurd to think you won’t support your parents or siblings in Nigeria. Sometimes, some people who refused helping others benefitted the most from families and friends on their way up. For me, I prefer to send opportunities their ways. How they will take the necessary test or application for schools so they too can be here. I try to support by contributing to the test fees. Truly, I have helped a few people, family and friends, this way. God bless you bro! I am shocked to see comments by some vowing not to help their siblings, including the parents that brought them into this world and sent them to school. Those that want to help, and can help, should help. Those that don't want to help should keep their help. Like someone said, who go blow go blow. Na God get the final say! |

Eulalia: Your point exactly? Are you trying to take sides with a cheating man because he's a man or because its a mans world? Either ways, you're all shades of bias and its totally unacceptable.
He disregarded, disrespected, degraded, downgraded and disgusted the woman hence are actions. Under that circumstance, SHE IS JUSTIFIED! I mean....you dont expect her to give him a pat in the back. Duh!!!
Remember.... Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. My dear how can you JUSTIFY AN ABUSE? What if the man had not remained calm and retaliated? Is that video ALONE enough to conclude the man was cheating? And even if the man cheated, while cheating is to be condemned, do you fight fire with fire? What happened to walking away from the marriage if she can't bear with a cheating husband? Let me remember you that violence begat more violence! |

I hate domestic violence with my body, soul and spirit!
I pray to God that nothing will make me hit my wife. Also, my wife knows me too well not to try such rubbish.
Two things I can't tolerate in marriage - cheating and domestic violence.
And to those privileged to be single, look beyond beauty and material things before getting into marriage. Those who have ear to hear, let them hear. |
