In 1999 UPU endorsed Moses Kragha against Ibori, Kragha lost out with Ibori aligning with Delta North and South.
In 2003, they endorsed Ogboru, Ogboru lost out. In 2007 and 2011 they still endorsed Ogboru against Udughan, Ogboru still lost out. In 2015, they endorsed David Edevbie against Okowa, David lost out. They still repeat the same with Edevbie against Sheriff.
The truth of the matter is that any candidate endorsed by Urhoboh and it's UPU, most surely loose. Because of their acclaimed ownership of Delta, other region will always work against such candidate. This is the basic truth which my fellow Urhoboh refused to understand.

It's this same truth that has denied Ogboru the governorship seat.

Before Okowa because governor, I have friends from Delta Central who declared that they would die if anybody from Delta North ever governs the State. Today, Okowa is in his second term, and those friends are still alive and well.

Delta North and Delta South seems to have aligned to counter the weight of Delta Central. Anybody from Delta Central that wants to be governor must work with this dynamics.

Everybody deserves to be happy. I pray that God will answer their prayer provided it won't be to the detriment of another good individual.

I have been married for awhile now but some of the marriage issues I read here, like this thread, leaves me wondering the kind of men we now have, and how people go about making the choice of a life partner.

I work with the national Primary health Care development agency. I am part of the management support team. Prior to any campaign on polio vaccine, circulars and letters are distributed to all schools so as to be aware of upcoming campaigns and be duely notified. Each school authority is to allow children for mass vaccination. It is a MUST for each school to allow that to happen or will be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Now let me break it down. In vaccination, the main aim is to reach as more children as possible included churches, mosques, schools, Islamic school and were children gathers. Children from 0 to 59 months. We have 2 major forms of vaccination

House to house
Special teams

The house to house teams visit each household to vaccinate children. Those teams also go to school and do mass vaccination

Now to the issue of parents before any campaign a mandatory and compulsory visit will be made to the authorities including the local government chairman, councillor and all district heads both chiefs and kings

Mobilisation funds will be made available for dissemination of information whether through radio or tv stations will be made to inform parents of oncoming polio vaccination.

The parents already know that thier children will be vaccinated by trusted and well known health worker.

You are right. However in this case, I think the health workers that visited the said school were lacking in good inter-personal communication skill.
Also, in a situation where a school was not formally notified before the commencement of vaccination exercise, there is nothing wrong in giving the school a day more to notify parents. After all there's provision for two days mop during NIPDs.
Again I think the there's a gap in the social mobilization and advocacy activity leading up to the vaccination program in that area. Every school ought to be formally informed at least 3days before the start any vaccination campaign.

If Ukraine is admitted to the alliance, it means NATO will have a stronghold in Russia's very own backyard. No major nuclear power would allow an enemy with nuclear capability stationed at it's very doorstep. This is the dilemma!

I'm sure there won't be any open military confrontation between Russia and the West. Modern civilization won't survive such a war because both sides will go nuclear.

Truth be told, it's not funny out their for most ladies that are divorced, especially those with kids and those who are struggling financially.

A particular profession wanted to dominate everything just to create job for her unborn generations. The term Medical lab is a selfish-colonization of the field Diagonostic Lab. You can't narrow a broad field to a single department. A field consisting of chemical pathology, parasitology, hematology, microbiology, histology of which each also has branches was narrowed down to a course of greediness called med lab.. The main reason why research in medical field is dead in Nigeria. Specialization is also dead by this act of greediness.. Microbiology alone has more than 3 branches not limited to Immunology, bateriology, virology etc.. One greedy council got these various courses together and call it medical lab.. How can the potentials of these courses by exploited just by tip studying them to carryout lab test only, where is the research that comes from deep knowledge of a course? Med lab has destroyed potentials of these fields that forms the bed rock of medical research, they only touch the cover of each of these courses to become test based medlab. Let there be freedom in all fields of life and you will see that people who started microbiology independently from year one will have many things to offer in that course more than those who study the cover alongside other courses and combine them to answer medlab. Politics will bury Nigeria.
