Congratulations bro! Your heaven don start for earth. My regards to your beautiful and lovely wife. Merry Christmas! |
When Reno advised single men to put their mothers and sisters first before any girlfriend, some of us hurled insults at him. The result of not heeding to that advice is what played out in this story. Money spent on girlfriends/boyfriends should be seen as money invested in a Ponzi scheme; it may or may not pay off. |
Chopchopfine:Nice one. But N100 fufu no go belleful me o... |
God bless the work of her hands! |
tiffanyfan:You are on point. Anyone that comes for your head for stating the fact, that person no get head.. ![]() Ladies branding their mothers-in-law as witches don't bother me, because their own daughters-in-law are coming to label them witches also - except they don't have sons. It's my opinion that how a man presents his family to his wife that is how his wife will take them. I accord my in-laws almost the same respect I give to my parents. My wife can't afford to do less. As regards marriage, anyone enjoying his or her marriage AFTER ten years of being married is blessed. If otherwise, do your best not to also miss heaven; else, that will be moving from hell to another hell. Peace to all trouble homes! |
What a thread! Op, is someone I have been following for awhile on this forum because I have some liking for her. Mercychen, from your post, there's nothing amiss with the guy. You just need to work on yourself! The challenge is within! My guess is that you have some insecurities you are yet to overcome. I maybe wrong. You have my best wishes. |
I'm happy for them. Let Love Lead! |
rex21:Shocked to see those comments. Any opportunity to rubbish religious leaders is now so appealing on social media. |
chiommy123:Why they don't count cheating as a big offense is because they too will be cheating on the sideline. Also, some married men are currently cheating on their wives with these ladies. It's a crazy world! |
Op, you get eye for good thing. She's beautiful! Congratulations and happy married life! |
Op, cheer up! Na belle you give woman, you no kill person. What you did was immoral but definitely not a crime. Trust me, in 15 years time, you will be so proud walking along the street with your child. Just keep close contact with older family members and friends who will guide you through the rigours of fatherhood. Best wishes! Modified: ...my hands and legs no dey for abortion matter. Nigeria is hard for overwhelming majority of Nigerians. So, hard or difficult times is not an excuse for an abortion. |
Romanoff:I'm happy this is coming from a lady. Madam, God bless you for this. I don't subscribe to shaming of any kind. However, even women with high body count would not want such for their daughters. Op, you still get things to learn. Good luck to you. |
OGraffix:In fact that boss needs to be fired! |
adubam:Wetin self.....Una own too much...To be job seeker na crime? Tell your boss that it is he and your organization that lost, not the lady. |
Prenonjebose:Mine was in Zurmi. I had similar experience, nice and welcoming people. I really enjoyed my service year and almost contemplated staying behind. Some of my colleagues got jobs and remained in State after our service. I feel bad each time I read what has become of Zamfara State. |
Springboot:The op goofed in this regard! He is jeopardizing the safety of the person he put out his info online. The risk he has exposed the person to, is far greater than the 10k he is trying to get back. |
dahmie2013:Upgrading his educational level is good, but he should not upgrade just because he wants to please the in-laws to be. What if after upgrading, they come up with other criteria; maybe he must be a car and a house owner. The girl's parents are more concerned with their ego than the happiness of their daughter. Op, if you so love your babe you can make that sacrifice for her. However, just pray that this will be the last of demands from her parents even after the wedding. |
Namdeenero:Very disgusting indeed! I pity Tega's husband, because this Boma's statement, is like an indirect insult to him. May we not bring public shame to our wives or husbands. |
Congratulations! |
It's a mistake to come out from the University with a certificate and no sellable skill. Most of us made that mistake, our children must not repeat it. It took me 5 years after NYSC to get a 'good' job. My saving grace was that I took a 25k job, that opened the way for a 50k (plus commission) job, which in turn opened the way to where I am today. By the grace of God, none of my children will be doing University education alone; except you are reading medicine or nursing. While in the University, the child must be in a skill acquisition program along with the tertiary education. Op, wait no longer! Enter the street and get your hands dirty with a legit hustle. If it's learning a skill, learn a skill as long as you have a passion for it and it's marketable. There's no time to check time! I hear a bottle of cooking gas is about 8k and petrol maybe sold for 300/litre before the end of the year. Enough of the wailing. The time to act is now! Best of luck! |
I find it bemusing when a guy becomes agitated and looses his peace over a lady he is yet to pay her bride price. Except there's a possible threat to life, such dissipation of energy is a complete waste. Planning to attack someone in your home because of a yet-to-be wife is a very foolish move. Things can go horribly wrong. If there's a homicide and the lady is not the victim or the culprit, the lady will move on to another guy, probably a bolt or an Uber driver. Matters of love are driven largely by emotions. But to thrive in love, a man must also use his head. |
Na wa o.. bad belle is real! When you are down in life, it's when you realize that many people that have been laughing with you actually hate you. All of a sudden, Zuckerberg is responsible for many people's misfortune. It's like he even took some people's wives and girlfriends. Anyway, I hope he recovers from this set back and comes back better and stronger. |
alphaconde:Our marriages will not fail by the Grace of God. However, I don't understand the rush to remarry after a divorce. |
Song of Solomon 8:7 Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned. Song of Solomon 4:7 Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee. Proverbs 5:18 - 19 Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth. Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love. |
Terrier99:...lol Chai...una no go kee person for this debate... Holy Spirit, appearing to defend fornication...wetin Musa no go see for gate? |
Some get good wife but dem no be good husband. Some na good husband, but dem no get good wife. To see good husband and good wife don become rocket science. Almost always, mistresses and side chicks are a big problem to a man's home. Ironically, many wives battling with mistresses/side chicks, were themselves once a mistresse/side chick to someone's husband. It's indeed a crazy world! |
Congratulations, mosaicafrique! The good Lord bless your marriage richly. Also, keep your marriage and private family affairs away from social media as much as possible. |
All the poor kid wanted was food. Nothing more, nothing less. HungerBad! |
Public proposal, public embarrassment. Private proposal, private embarrassment. Choose wisely. ![]() |
