Sure! cheesy

Truth is, both genders need each other. The tag on Nigerian girls is totally false; not all of us are dependent on men, so why judge us all based on some select few deeds?!

I have never had to ask a man for money(thank God!) but that is not to say it is wrong to ask when one is in a fix. To each their own.

Once the giving/releasing partner isn't complaining, it shouldn't be my concern.

Give if and when it is convenient to...not because you want to appear caring in a relationship/friendship...

Then again, the western world we so much revere make a lot of payments to their women; from child support to spousal(long term partner or legal partner as the case maybe)

Our own law has never favoured the female gender, yet we call them leeches.

How many ex girlfriends are being paid for getting dumped in Nigeria?

So what should we do

1.Spend money we don't have?

2.Keep taking loans to finance the subsidies and other things, since we can't remove subsides?

3.Restructuing or dividing Nigeria won't help. I doubt any of the regions apart from the oil producing states can raise funds to pay the new civil services. Apart from oil, we have no other export that can earn a substantial amount of money for us, together or apart.

I know you people don't like removing subsides. But the money we throw away on subsides over the years is what is making us take loans to cover up. Now they can't take loans anymore.

Simple economics....remove subsides, allow the petroleum and power sectors be profitable, more investment flows in, and after some harship, things would get better, and there would be savngs galore.

And yes, we should fight corrption, and yes, APC and PDP are not the answer, and yes, our national assembly needs reduction.

After 60years of selling oil yet no meaningful development apart from jumbo salary. No light no road no security. Yet someone would wake up and say Nigeria doesn't depend on oil. Its simple cut the cost of governance or you kill people with tax

PhiliptheArab:
1. I blame the government for not diversifying the economy.

2. Having said that, oil has been below what we need it to have a good enough income since 2014.

We need oil to be at $140 per barrel before we can run a budget without borrowing. Its called our breakeven price, and the reason why we borrow is because oil prices have been below that for years

3. The solution really is simple. Remove oil subsidy. Remove power subsidy. Use the savings to pay salaries .Prices will go up, but we have no choice.

4. Or taxes go up

5. Diversify. Diversify

6.Or pray that oil goes up.

Truthfully speaking, i think we should remove subsides. So that free investment and jobs flow in
Income from there combined with income from savings made will end this crisis

Time we did something we should have done in 1993 . If we had done it then, we should have been better off.

7. And lets fight corruption for real

Taught they said its not oil that sustains Nigeria

I can categorically tell u that umidigi and Xiaomi official stores no longer ships to Nigeria, it's just a matter of time before retailers start following this trend too.

Only good can save us....

Had it been we have the IMEI NO of these phones so we start from there and track the user of the phone but no the seller can't disclose the number anyhow but these would be right step in conducting investigation as to what's happening to our shipped phones as soon as they arrive Nigeria

Dude, your leaders are not serious, if they are really serious, they will start by cutting down their allowances, number of vehicles in their convoys, being accountable with recovered loots by the EFCC, merging some unnecessary govt agencies e.g VIO/FRSC, ICPC/EFCC, & a host of others..........I can go on & on listing ways to reduce govt expenditure...............if we see concrete & genuine actions from them, we will take them serious., but for now, Buhari & his crew are not ready at all..............but what does a layman like me know?
