Just a question, why do people put boiled egg in stew? Especially if there is protein (fish or meat) there already, it just seems odd to me. Protein is never enough I guess |

beardedboy: Nicely made meal.
You're a good cook.
But I'll leave that hollandia. I've stopped taking these drinks and opted for water. Many companies are cutting cost to stay afloat in this economy. I'm afraid that they have cut the useful ingredients in their drinks leaving only water, colouring, sugar and other unsafe ingredients.
I mostly drink just water these days. A personal preference though. Water is safe for me here too |

asksteve: We are our own problem in this country. Can u imagine people are already helping the FG to trim the proposed wage to 100k on the excuse that there is no money.
Do they know the take home pay and allowances of president, senators, reps, governors down to councillors many of whom are either school cert or pry school cert holders?
Do they know the rate at which the government in the last 9yrs has hiked the cost of living in this country without comisorate wage increase?
For me I have no issue with the proposed figures, by the NLC leadership even though I don't like their betrayer style when it come to fighting for the workers they represent cos this issue should have hit front burner since 2016 or 2017.
It is either the government pays the said wage or bring down the cost of living to comisorate with whatever amount they propose and if the cost of living should increase again so will the wage of the civil servant.
Thank u. This is true cost of living has to come down not promises ooo if not workers won't be able to afford basic things |

ArcSEMPECJ: How can Buhari increase custom duty fee and think he would generate revenue through that In a country that can't produce Ordinary Tissue paper or encourage the citizens to use locally made tissues ??
How can you float naira and think you can succeed in a country of over 300 million people without production impact
How can you remove fuel Subsidy in a country where almost 150 million uses fuel increase the fuel pump price, then go back to bring in the fuel Subsidy, thinking that increase in fuel pump price will reduce the Subsidy, so you can deceive the citizens ?
Tinubu should have known better that Propaganda and lies does not strengthen the economy of any country......
The fact remains that, all the Policies of the Government of Buhari coming down to that of Tinubu, were never to secure the interest of the citizens but to steal from them more and milk them dry....
Government Policies are supposed to protect at least 60% interest of the masses, but no no, APC is here to drill the masses, suffer them and enlarge their coast towards hunger...
The only thing Tinubu is afraid of now is Revolution, or massive Hunger protest, but watch how they have started saying the protests are sponsored.....
No wonder TINUBU said ......Dont kill the masses, allow the POOR to BREATH!!!!!!
Tinubu should finish Nigeria with BRUTALITY....but it will never affect me and my Family and any other family that have stood for the truth of this nation.....Amen...
Do you see him reverse the policies? Imo he won't do that people won't say he doesn't know what he's doing |

Chummynoni: increment of wage will never be the panacea to inflation. To how much will government increase it? Is it everyone that will benefit from the increase? The people in Government knows what to do if they want to. So government should reverse all the policies that brought about the inflatable? Custom duty, naira float, fuel subsidy etc |

DaddyRochie1642: Wow,.... this deep, even at his age, his passing has this kind of impact on you, imagine, if he had passed at a younger age,
There was a guy I knew that was always telling me to be strong when our mother passed each time we meet, - two months later, one day me and him met and he was telling me that the time he was telling me to be strong and stay strong after our mother passed away, it was after he lost his father one month later that he realized what I was going through that period our mother passed. - he told me that it is not easy for him to stay strong after loosing his father, he was asking me for tips on how to stay strong after such a loss.
People that have not experienced loosing a loved one can never ever relate to it. Exactly, it's easy to comfort people but not easy to bear I appreciate friends who stood by me when I lost my father in 2011 and my mum in 2022 both to I'll health but one thing is sure the Bible has promised at Rev 21 :4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” You can always console yourself with this promise anytime you lose your loved ones because God's promises are true and must come to pass |

Within 3 months we will see results. Big businesses that are being protected by the Government will continue to take advantage of the masses, unless you create a level playing field. It is such a shame! What you listed here have you taken into consideration custom clearance fee which has increased almost by 100% recently? |

Or do you think once they grind the stones, they'd just bag them and sell? If a bag is 12k at 1650$ rate imagine when dollars hit 5k |

What was done is just devaluation of Naira to balance the excessive cash liquidity. 185 Naira for petrol when Naira was 400 to Dollar is same with 650 Naira for petrol when Naira is 1,450 to Dollar. 200k minimum wage . . . Joke thing ! With which economic productivity to backup such amounts flying around in circulation?
Okay, maybe NLC want FG to double her loan request hustle from IMF.
Most states are not even paying the present minimum wage of 30k or so.
That proposal is crap because it will only yield hyperinflation.
Instead negotiate for : - per hour remuneration based on sector.
- prohibition of outsourcing white collar and blue collar jobs to expatriates; with exception to highly skilled labor which cannot be filled internally. However, there’ll be a local understudy with probation period to move up the corporate ladder. Hourly pair wow some police officers who work 24 hrs or security would earn more |

GreatOchuks: Of course we collect because it's symbolic and sacrosanct,, and it's just 160 naira , we will still give you change from it ..
However we don't construct long and inhuman lists to frustrate prospective sons in Law in the name of Marriage like the Igbos, Yorubas and some Middle Belt people are doing.
With your 500k , you can comfortably marry an Urhobo lady ,, if you want to spend millions on big extravaganza and Paparazzi, that's your own cup of tea.
If the marriage unfortunately hits the rocks and you want a refund of your bride price, it's that 160 naira or less that will be returned to you ... That's great ATM I don't know where to start from because things are getting really expensive. I just believe God will make my dreams come to pass this year or next |

GenderMix: Dear Family,
I have been having this back and forth debate with my wife regarding cooking soup with groundnut oil as against red oil but she is on the negative. I had cooked Egusi soup with groundnut oil and it taste really nice. I had also done same with okra sea food and its really nice. The reason why I want to do away with red oil is because I have been advised on my cholesterol level and the odour from palm (red) oil doesn't sit well with me these days.
I want to serve my visitors Egusi soup prepared with groundnut oil but she's declined because she's not sure how it will be received....lol
Does anyone have experiences with cooking soups with only groundnut oil and how does it taste. okra, bitterleaf, oha, vegetable, edikaikong, egusi, etc Most of the red oil are mixed with chemical that's why it's smelling get good one from your village |
