TheGoodJoe:
I Do not trust Siasia. He did the same thing that Manu Garba did with the Coach Yemi Tela U17 World Cup winning team. I Will be lying if I say I am optimistic. We can see why Nigeria is yet to win the U20 World Cup.

Coach Siasia gave unmerited players positions in the squad and kept true talents on the bench. He sabotaged the team like when Ibrahim Rabiu scored and he pulled him out of the pitch immediately.

We have talents but most coaches suck.

I am hoping God makes a way somehow for these lads to make it. But, the Coaches? SMH.
Now you are geting the point I was trying to bring out, Siasia is not deferent from other coaches like Keshi, Manu and Amunike
Siasia has done that shit before. I just prayed he carry's out his selection with the fear of God this time around

Obinna Nwobodo and Nwakali, you forgot Success too...ya, add em up, and maybe that Ndidi fellow. Truth be told, SiaSia's current team is shiiit
Sorry I 4got to mention Isaac Success.

You are right!! but I doubt if Siasia will want to overhoul his entire team by inviting all this Manu boys, remember Siasia too is a man of pride he's only beter than Keshi with a small magin.

Go and check Ekiti past govenments history you will believe Ekiti ketes are the most stubborn group of people to be govern on. They don't celeberate medicore government unlike Osun state people. Ekiti kete's can not be scamed like Aregbe did to Osun people

Opinion: Coach Samson Siasia should adopt some of the unused players from the U20 team Taiwo Awoniyi, Kelechi Heanacho, Musa Yahaya Simon Moses, Akinjide Idowu, Dele Alampasu and captain Musa muhammed are the sure players the coach should consider and inject into his team

Lol! grin grin grin
We cause it dude!
We overrated the Team and their technical Crew respectively. Anyone who visited the forum for the first time, before the commencement of the Tourney, would be glued to it with the comments and posts!
Many thought the Team is the best in the World, and nothing could stop them from lifting the Trophy in New Zealand, but are overly disappointed in the end!
This thread was a joy to visit, but it has lost its aura, because most Fans do not care about the Lads again!
I think we should diversify the thread; probably be an Avenue to monitor the developments and progress of the Lads, and how they can be transformed to fulfill our expectations of them. We shouldn't lose hope in the Lads, because they genuinely are talented. We should keep the thread alive, discussing and analyzing how a formidable Super Eagles Team could be formed through the majority of the Lads!
Up Eagles!!!
Yeah you nailed it gbam.

I can't waste my prayer on Nigeria football anymore if they work hard and get their tactics right, they will win but if they depend on prayer like they did against Australia then they are on their own

Useless coach with no clue depending on God to come and score goal for his team since he believed he has prayed before the start of the match

Babayaro slams Manu Garba over World Cup exit

Lagos - Former junior international Emmanuel Babayaro has slammed Flying Eagles coach Manu Garba following Nigeria’s ouster from the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup.
The Nigeria U20’s lost 1-0 to their German counterparts in a round of 16 game in Christchurch, in what could easily have been a bigger win for the European champions.
And Babayaro, a former Nigeria U20 international believes the Flying Eagles coach, Manu Garba was responsible for Nigeria’s failure to progress beyond the round of 16.

“For me I will blame the coach, he’s the reason we lost,” Babayaro said.
“I keep asking myself where we are going because sometimes it seems like we have taken some steps forward and then we take many steps backward.
“He (Manu) took Moses Simon to the World Cup and did not play him and this same Simon was wanted by the Super Eagles and if he knew he wasn’t going to play the lad, why take him to the World Cup?
“He should have let Keshi have him (Simon). This young lad plays for a top club in Belgium. He has helped his team qualify for the Champions League and is highly celebrated in Europe and he didn’t even get to play a game in the tournament.
“And from the way they played in the tournament, you could tell Manu just had in mind to play a selected group of players, a particular group of players without considering those that has the capability to play,” Babayaro said in a disappointed tone.
SportsSiasia Blasts Manu Garba’s “poor Tactics” by samueld0(op): 5:25pm On Jun 11, 2015
has lamented the poor tactics which cost Nigeria a place at the quarter finals of the FIFA U20 World Cup.
Siasia, who led Nigeria to a second place finish at the FIFA U20 World Cup in 2005, said the Manu Garba led team didn’t play to win, after they were overrun 1-0 by Germany in the round of 16 to end Nigeria’s hopes of finally lifting the coveted U20 World Cup.
“It just wasn’t there today at all. The guys just didn’t come out to play for a win. When you’re playing against the Germans, you have to come out aggressively, keep possession of the ball and create chances to score but we didn’t do all that today.
Also read: Flying Eagles crash out of FIFA U-20 W/Cup
“We kept marking the Germans five yards away, which gave them the time and space to turn around with the ball, dribble and create chances.
“Just check the number of chances they created and you will realize that they could have beaten us by three or four goals today.
“They scored just one goal but they created a lot of chances but how many chances did we have? We didn’t create much because the tactics was poor.
“With the formation we deployed, just one striker but there was no support going forward and we didn’t create chances.
“It was just Awoniyi going forward and there was no support. He should have changed that by introducing Moses and Iheanacho, but he (Manu) brought in a defensive midfielder when we were losing,” Siasia lamented.
