The Ijaw's in the ND region claims they owns the riverine area of the ND which cuts across almost all the SS states up to Ondo state. Like I said, all these tribe may be called difference names in these state, but they recognize they are Ijaw's & belong to one family in origin. This is so because of the immigration across the coastaline region. They are mainly fishermen & palmwine tapper.
On the other hand, the so called Igbo speaking tribes in ND, like Rivers, up to Delta State, often says that they are not igbos that they have their own culture thereby dis-associating themselves from igbos.

Sorry !!! I wanted to make reference Abt the Agbor tribe in Delta State not the Asaba people.
You see the Nigrian state is a complex one that is why it may be difficult to divide the country base on eithicity & even as a geophical entity. Take a look at the Biafra agitation, the SE comprised of 5 state, which is the true speaking Ibo states but they want to claim states like Bayelsa,Rivers, up to Delta Edo & even the Ondo State (why) during the civil war.
How is that possible to include SS state into Biafra? Giving the ND their own country is another difficult task.
To divide Nigeria, I believe more than six nationality will comes out from it based on the six geographical region.

So,those tribes in the ND are dis-associating themselves from the ibo tribe which they claim they are not Biafra.
