You cannot get such on a shared bandwidth, save you are the only Globacom user in your area.

Seamless communication and data on a public network carrier is almost impossible for several reasons. You would only get as much as 50MBPS if you are using a Dedicated Internet Service. Your claim is just as saying you get a 1/3 of STM-1 every night on shared bandwidth.

This is totally unbelievable.

Corruption is truly killing us just as systemic structure. You would recall this particular structure was forced on the country by Northern military soldiers who thought it would work best for us.

The oil in the Delta is largely responsible for this. In a sane society, Northern states with no oil have no business with oil funds. A structural government devoid of hidden agenda, should be in place to allow each region grow at their own pace and a part contribution to the centre. That way, every state and region would take pride in what they have and face it diligently. Corruption came to full glare the moment oil surfaced in Nigeria.

Pls don't compare messi to neji. messi overcame birth defects to become the greatest player in the world. Ronaldo is in literally the most talented team in a generation and all he does is tap in goal literally laid our for him.
messi assists, tracks back to assist the midfield and give key passes, had more assists and even managed to have more goals than Ronaldo. even in Argentina, messi literally had to carry the team. himself again.
Ronaldo is a great and diligent player but Pls stop talking like messi didn’t also work hard consistently and has even added more aspects to his game play whereas Ronaldo these days is only good for one thing.
You guys don't know Neji then. Neji was condemned to being the second class in the family, but he rose to become the pride even though he fell tragically. Messi doesn't track back. Playing a deeper role isn't the same as tracking back.

An Argentina Messi is more useless than the P is psychology, all thanks to the absence of his Barcelona team mates. Yes, he may have saved them in their last qualifiers match but we are talking about the same Messi who had resigned from National football after a disappointing national tournament.

Argentina has more stars compared to Portugal and Ronaldo has done more than the extraordinary in carrying the team on his shoulder. Comparing Neji to Messi is an insult to Neji, really. You become a failure if you fail to make it count despite the many resources available to you.

A side with Di Maria, Dybala, Mascherano, Higuain, Aguero, Tevez, Lavezzi, Gago, Banega, Otamendi and 'back tracker' as you claimed, yet, they can neither play Spain nor Germany and get a quality result. Ronaldo has failed many times than Messi and got right back to become a better player. Messi lost a penalty, cost his team a national glory and resigned. Failure is not the best word to use on him, and I'm still looking, hoping to get the right word.

have you ever been a Catholic Church and attend mass, their own worship? it isn't good to criticise people from a position of ignorance.

if you were ever in a mass you would know Catholic always pray through Christ our Lord or in Jesus name
I hear this every day. For the record, Christians are not expected to pray THROUGH Christ but in His Name. It is a mark of authority which we enforce in prayers.

I have been in many to the point that I have come to know that the 'mother of god' is to pray for those who claim they worship God.

a culture is a way of life, I expect every Christian to make his faith his culture...

I am surprised you are against that.

are you sure it negates the scripture and Christ or just your interpretation of it?

have you ever thought it through, that the way Catholics worship today is the same way Christians have worshipped for 2000 years and that your own Protestant faith was invented recently and the inventors will consider much of your belief to be heresy.
Culture is one thing and religion is another. Both have been fused at some point but then it does not work that way with the Christian faith.

The Catholic church as they are called today got a handful of its practices from Pagan Romans who thought to fuse Christianity with their practice and adopt the fusion rather than lose out on their belief.

The protestant faith is quite diversified. However, most of them still points to the Scriptures even though their teachings are perverted. Like I had mentioned, the worship of Mary, praying to dead saints, the teachings and beliefs of purgatory, man being given the mandate to listen to the sins of another and in turn cancel or rule it out in forgiveness, the stark idolatry, among others were never part of the teachings of Christ.

The Catholic church is nowhere close when you mention Christ.

All Pentecostals are pastor believing including you
There is nothing true about Sola scripture(bible alone) it is a man made doctrine of Luther. It wasn't from Christ or the apostles. Christ left us a Church not the bible. He gave authority to the Church not the bible.
You should understand that the Pastor is not a man but an office. God use some men who find themselves in this particular office and it is one of the reasons some 'Pentecostals' believe the man in the office easily.

So the Bible is false because purgatory wasn't mentioned or 'taught'?

The Bible is false because it condemns the worship of graven images?

The Bible is false because it does not deitify Mary as an entity to be worshipped but rather, as a vessel whom was used just as it could have been any other person?

The Bible is false because it does not support praying to dead 'saints' and asking them to intercede on our behalf?

Interesting...

SOME. Those who have their brains formatted and are lazy to read would forever end up believing Pastors rather than God and His Word.

For the Catholic community, it is worse, doctrine is Unscriptural as well as its teachings. Is there a Catholic 'church' that teaches one should pray to God in Jesus' Name rather than go through Mary?
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Do Pentecostals Believe That Catholic Church Is Not A Bible Believing Church by Sanchez01(m): 7:19am On Oct 22, 2017
The Catholic community is more or less a cultural group. This is harsh but it's the truth. The group's belief and doctrine far contradicts the Bible, particularly with the deitifying of Mary as a ln entity to be worshipped and petitioned.

Setting up statues in strategic places within and around the church and ascribing worship to them is another.

Asking dead and buried 'saints' to pray and intercede on one's behalf is very much far from the dynamics of prayer in the Christian faith.

I taught in a Catholic school during my service year and one funny thing happened while I was supervising a particular class during examination. Without informing/regard, the entire class rose like programmed robots to chant something. Interestingly, their action was triggered by the sound of some distant clock strikes.

Fundamentalism, just as with the sister religion is quite rampant with the Catholic community. Regardless, this isn't an issue because the group's doctrine, belief, practices and teachings quote negate that of Christ and the Scripture. The worship of the Queen of Heaven is second to none to with the Catholic community.

Action Points:
The Northern Region had threatened to secede unless it was given half the seats in the post-independence Parliament. It was eventually given more seats in Parliament than the two southern regions put together. This meant that no meaningful governmental decision affecting Nigeria could be taken without the consent of the Northern political leaders. Southern rulers belatedly began to appreciate that Northern politicians were not as backward as they had thought and that the lopsided Parliament meant that Northern politicians would control Nigeria’s politics forever
The South, led by the Yorubas and the Igbos, plunged Nigeria into its present state by allotting half the seats in the parliament to the North, just because they needed to be appeased. Today, decisions cannot be made and conclusions arrived at without the North being involved.

In 1963 a census revealed that the population of the south was greater than that of the Northern Region. Each region’s census results determined its share of seats in the Parliament, and each region was widely assumed to have inated its population count. The results from the south showed a preposterously high rate of population growth, unprecedented in the history of mankind. The Prime Minister ordered a veri- cation of the results, after which an additional eight million people were “found” in the Northern Region.
Well, what do I know? shocked

The Northern Region had threatened to secede unless it was given half the seats in the post-independence Parliament. It was eventually given more seats in Parliament than the two southern regions put together. This meant that no meaningful governmental decision affecting Nigeria could be taken without the consent of the Northern political leaders. Southern rulers belatedly began to appreciate that Northern politicians were not as backward as they had thought and that the lopsided Parliament meant that Northern politicians would control Nigeria’s politics forever. Northerners felt vulnerable due to the overwhelming educational advantage of the south. At independence, Northerners accounted for just 10% of primary school enrolments, and of over one thousand students at the University of Ibadan, just over fty were Northern. Despite the fact that the Northern Region constituted two thirds of Nigeria’s land mass, the number of secondary schools in the south outnumbered those in the Northern Region by a ratio of over twenty to one.

Concerned that the better educated southerners might gobble up the best jobs in the Northern Region, the Premier of the Northern Region, Sir Ahmadu Bello, embarked upon a “northernization” program with the aim of lling job vacancies in the Northern Region with Northern candidates. Where no qualied Northern candidate was available, expatriates were hired in preference to southerners. This antagonized many southerners.

The verication exercise showed that the Northern Region did after all have a larger population than the south. The census gures caused mutual bitterness between the Northern Region and south, with each region accusing the other of massively distorting the census gures. It also carved a huge rift in the NPC– NCNC coalition and leaders from both parties publicly traded insults. The United States noted that:

The facts of geography and population assure that under the constitution, the federal government will continue to be dominated by the party representing the tradition-bound Moslems of the north, who are generally contemptuous of the south and unsympathetic to its problems. The southern regions, which are deeply divided along tribal, regional, and party lines, resent northern domination.1 The tragedy which subsequently occurred was based on mutual fear. The south feared that the Northern Region would use numerical advantage to suppress the south. The Northern Region feared that southerners would use superior academic qualications to dominate the Northern Region.

continued...

The different regions began jostling each other even before Nigeria gained independence from the UK. In 1953 the southern AG and NCNC parties tabled a motion in the federal House of Representatives calling for Nigeria’s independence in 1956 (the motion was tabled by Anthony Enahoro). Northerners were apprehensive as they felt the Northern Region did not yet have an administration and educated workforce capable of operating independently of the British colonial rulers. AG and NCNC delegates walked out when the Northern majority in the House diluted the motion by removing the reference to “1956” and substituted it with a more modest goal of attaining independence when practicable. The NPC leader, the Sardauna of Sokoto, Ahmadu Bello, regarded the 1956 date as “an invitation to commit suicide.” When they left the House, Northern delegates were jeered and harassed by southern mobs in Lagos for their reluctant approach to independence. This humiliation rankled long in the Northern memory.

After independence in 1960 the NPC took control of the federal government with the NCNC as the junior partner in a shaky coalition. The NPC’s deputy leader, Tafawa Balewa, became the Prime Minister and the NCNC’s eloquent leader Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe took the ceremonial role of Governor-General until 1963, when the country became a republic, upon which his title was changed to “President.” The AG formed the opposition with the energetic Obafemi Awolowo as Leader of the Opposition. The Yoruba were left out in the cold while the Igbo and Hausa–Fulani parties (the NCNC and NPC respectively) colluded. The constitution of the government was odd.

The NPC’s immensely powerful leader, the Sardauna of Sokoto Alhaji, Sir Ahmadu Bello, could have become Prime Minister but chose to instead become Premier of the Northern Region, and handed over the Prime Minister’s chair to his deputy, Tafawa Balewa. The Sardauna was only interested in matters pertaining to the south to the extent they had consequences in the Northern Region. Bello’s comment that “I would rather be called Sultan of Sokoto than President of Nigeria” summed up his outlook. Bello was doubtless the most powerful politician in the country by virtue of being the leader of its biggest party in Parliament, and by being Premier of the Northern Region, and was an inspirational gure for Nigeria’s Muslim population. However, while Balewa was regarded as a humble man, with integrity, he was also — rightly or wrongly — viewed by many southern politicians as Bello’s puppet. Southerners resented the fact that the government was being ruled by proxy by a regional ruler and viewed Bello as the real power behind the throne. This perception was not helped when Bello referred to Balewa his “lieutenant in Lagos.” This may have encouraged the southern politicians’ disrespectful attitude toward Balewa and the Northern Region. The fact that many of the southern politicians, such as Azikiwe and Awolowo, were extremely erudite intellectuals, while Balewa and Sardauna did not have university degrees, made some southern politicians feel that the Northern politicians were not intellectually t to rule the country.

Northern leaders feared that a Yoruba and Igbo alliance from the south could swamp them, threatening their way of life and their political dominance. Bello expressed these fears: “A sudden grouping of the eastern and western parties (with a few members from the north opposed to our party) might take power and endanger so endanger the north. This would, of course be utterly disastrous.”1 Bello’s fear was not without justication and Northerners for their part resented the condescending attitude of southerners. Some southerners regarded Northerners as backward, uneducated and unsophisticated, and some Northerners felt southerners were no more than ill-mannered indels.
Webmasters › Re: WORDPRESS VS BLOGGER: Dear Nairalanders, Which One Would You Have Chosen?? by Sanchez01(m): 3:32pm On Oct 20, 2017
One of the most horrible mistakes newbies make when it comes to blogging is setting out to wordpress.org after buying the necessary hosting plans as well as domain name for their blogs.

The truth is, both platforms are amazing but Blogger is just about the best for several reasons which I would list below;

Blogger

The Pros
1. Setting up a blog on blogger can be done in the space of five minutes at no cost.
2. The Google+ share automatically makes your blog reach out to unsuspecting audience in no time.
3. You don't have to worry about hosting as Google would take care of that.
4. The site hosts a plethora of free templates, so bloggers can customize their viewers’ experience and create a visual presence that keeps their brand consistent.
5. The site is also extremely reliable. Blogger’s upgrades are seamless, and the site is rarely down for maintenance or due to other issues, such as hackers.
6. Many users also love that they can connect their Blogger account to their Google Adsense and Analytics accounts for seamless tracking.

The Cons
1. Blogger does not offer a lot of options for more advanced bloggers. You shouldn't worry though, if you are starting out.
2. Many bloggers complain (both novice and advanced) about losing their template customizations. While the simple interface is attractive to novice bloggers, many professional and advanced bloggers complain about the lack of high-end features and more advanced options.
3. The features are also limited, and many bloggers complain about the post editing options and minimal comments options.

Wordpress

The Pros (By Wordpress, I am actually referring to the .org Wordpress and not its .com version.)
1. Total control over your blog, particularly when it comes to design, feel, texture among a host of other things.
2. While Blogger primarily uses Adsense, Wordpress' gives more autonomy to make money from blogging via various advertising and affiliate marketing platforms schemes.
3. You will also have your own domain name which will look more professional than a .com sub-domain which you can get from blogger.
4. Wordpress, without a doubt, enjoys more technical support than Blogger. Almost every technical issue plaguing bloggers who use Wordpress have been answered severally and answers can easily be sourced for in no time.

The Cons
1. The technical requirements required to run a self-hosted WordPress blog are a little more advanced than those required for a platform such as Blogger.
2. You will also need to pay for hosting.
3. Most newbies often times run into the hands of desperate host sellers who offer far-from-reality hosting services which could in turn be frustrating, all thanks to server downtimes.

Note: You can get a customised domain name (brandname.com) for your blog on Blogger if you are not comfortable using .blogspost.com. Interestingly, you would not spend up to $14 (5000) in getting a .com domain name and that should sort it. A misconception is that Blogger has more SEO strengths than Wordpress. This is not true. Your site's SEO strength, whether on Blogger or Wordpress.org largely depends on how your blog is equipped or setup. For starters, avoid sharing your blog name with a popular, established brand or company.
