Kanu is garrulous and overly sensitive as most of his people. If this was in any way true, he would have said it the first time he left Kujeland. The lies are glaring here and truth is, it is only a matter of time before this dude self destruct. He has refused to visit the same Benue he is laying claim to, just as Rivers. A honest question one needs to ask is how he feeds without a job and a source of income. He keeps using people's head and their emotions. I can't imagine a man who feeds daily with his wife, yet no source of income. This dude is almost as great as Harry Houdini. ![]() |
Without mincing words, I choose to be irresponsible in this regard. |
hammerF:Please tell me more, @ the emboldened. |
What do these folks really want, Presidency or secession ![]() |
QueenOfNepal:It seems you are high on oxygen. So I'm restricted on airing my opinion because 'it is your region'? The brand of stùpid folks with Internet access these days is alarming. |
The IPOB leader assuredThis is coming from a fellow who left his supposed comrades behind in Kuje despite the noise made on here that he would not accept his bail conditions. Funny. |
jguy007, gather your evidences and report to the husband, that is, the man who got you the job. The wife could overreact and frustrate the entire process. You just have to ignore the corrupt souls asking you to mind your business. You would not only be killing yourself if you don't report this, but also end up contributing to the downfall of another man's empire. |
Warship:ONLY 1000 votes is what the APC needs to win Anambra just as it is what the PDP and APGA needs. Should 1000 people vote, then IPOB's mission fails. |
If your rates aren't competitive enough, churn would be inevitable. Contact persons also encourage churn particularly from deals they know would be of personal benefit to them. Wearing a smile is not enough. |
hornyofife:Don Jazzy is born by an Imo mother and an Isoko father. I hope you get it. |
Something is fundamentally wrong somewhere. If these drug carrying nature of Nigerians continue in this manner, we might just end up being rejected from entering almost any country in the nearest future. For crying out loud, drugs should not be something every true born should venture into. This is really too disturbing. |
hammerF:Not the South South alone. There is an urgent need for resource control generally in the country, regardless of what is obtainable in each region. Resource control would be the perfect love story ending and not some meaningless rants about the formation of an old Eastern region. Should the call for a resource control plays out perfectly, trust the Delta to revive her ports, just as Rivers and others. Again, these are all political antics. I don't believe it because this is not even the fifth time politicians from both regions would meet to 'decide the fate' of their regions. |
cumbak60:And you think I lose sleep over you lots? You need to engage the butter wrapped around your skull. |
hammerF:Perhaps you were born yesterday. Kindly run a check to see how many times these idiots have had these shameless, non-productive meetings. I'm not in any way swayed because I understand the dynamics of politics. Recently, it was the South East governors who meet and agreed that they contribute a percentage to grow their region. Never mentioned till tomorrow. And now, the South South has been involved. You sure are very naive to believe it is action time. Action time indeed. |
Kagawa10:The $1,000,000 question. My mind ran to this from the very first day the meeting was reported, but then, what gives? |
hammerF:I have no doubt that Okowa would attend. However, it is a sensitive period in time and motives, though pure and harmless, could be misconstrued at this point, such as the Enugu meeting to this. Caps hurt the eyes, yeah? |
Afam4eva:Of course yes, but birthing a different headline from the sad reality on ground would only breed stiffness in some areas. It was simply a meeting to discuss economic alliance and all of a sudden it became this? Apparently, if it turns out to be true, I would never be worried because the States with the Old Eastern Regions know themselves. Old Bendel was mid-west. And Delta attending in the past is way different from now as there are agitations in the five South Eastern states and land grabbing tendencies have been flagged. It is a different ball game now. |
Afam4eva:Here is the crux, Enugu and Port Harcourt are not the same, just as regions are not the same. Does it not interest you to figure that Dickson was also not part of the meeting? Besides, I believe you are educated enough to believe that all that was discussed is not really about 'recreating a pre-1967 region', far from it. Economic alliance and trade unions? Perhaps yes, but a part of suicide squad? Not the Delta I know. |
martineverest:No, we don't. |
Nikbaebrown:Okowa, attending that meeting would have been suicidal for him. Delta state was never part of the Old Eastern Region, so I see no reason why they would deem it fit to include her in their quest. |
Yeligray:Truth is, we were never united. Tolerance was what made it look like we ever were. Unfortunately, the average poor man regardless of tribe or religion has one common enemy and that is the political class. The funniest part is lawmaker is involved here and nothing would be done at the end of everything. Don't be surprised if they Cross River group return again. |
Where are those saying their states are not as developed as Dubai? I hope you have want you want now. |
He looks like a child sipping Bobo. |
I had just created a thread on this. Didn't know Ishilove beat me to this. |
Mimzyy:In all honesty, 'biscuit bone' is fashioned and not proper English words so long we are referring to the cartilaginous parts we love. The only 'biscuit bone' known to the world is a typical biscuit or cookie shaped like a bone, and most times, used in feeding dogs. |
Let's talk biscuit bone now, shall we? To a typical Nigerian, the 'biscuit bone' is a cartilaginous bone and it is a 'special bone' in this part of the country. One thing I must point out is that cartilages are not found in briskets, and the reason for this is because briskets do not contain bones. Why the origin of the word 'biscuit bone' may be lost to us, taking a primal part of a beef to be cartilaginous is totally wrong. Cartilages are connective tissues and are only found in joints (an image of 'biscuit bones' below). In summary, there is no such thing as 'brisket bones', particularly in reference to cartillages. We really need to be careful about what we peddle all in the name of dispelling what we had long known. What is brisket? The Brisket is a cut of meat from the breast or lower chest of beef or veal. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/f/f6/BeefCutBrisket.svg/512px-BeefCutBrisket.svg.png A cut of brisket can be found below https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/2/25/Brisket_in_its_natural_state.JPG/1280px-Brisket_in_its_natural_state.JPG Often times, the 'meat' we often ask Suya sellers for are actually briskets. https://www.myjewishlearning.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/garlic-brisket-main.jpg |
michaelschofiel:The link is invalid. Isn't it obvious? |
maclatunji:I honestly see no reason why this thread should have been created. No one takes them seriously. The White House is open to all and sundry to tour and that is what these guys are about doing. The idea is to tour the White House, post pictures and claim Trump could not attend because he was styling his hair. July 21st is just days away. |
Benz4pimp:I can't imagine knowing how a people would contribute just so some folks could visit the White House and then take off to McDonald's and Apple Bees afterwards. They once sold Biafran Pounds using the Naira as a means of exchange, just as they did their passport. The comedy didn't start today. |
Mynd44:LMAO! ![]() Are these guys aware that their organisation would be considered a greater joke should nothing happen on that day? |
Warship:Everyone regardless of tribe, creed and religion deserves this. A country of abundant jobsThere is no such country as this in the world. The so-called 'most liberated state in the world (the USA) can neither boast of abundant jobs, sound security nor devoid racial profiling and racism. The question is, can they achieve their dreams in this contraption called Nigeria.?Yes, but the average Igbo man is greedy and believes the world has to revolve around him. Igbos are not even close to being marginalized than The Delta. Yet, you scream night and day when in reality you are scattered than other ethnic group combined. Your leaders are equally greedy and don't seem to care about the welfare of their people. I laugh at people like Ex- Governor Peter Obi and Yorubas who thinks the problem is just leadership failure and corruptionExperience talks in the guise of Peter Obi and you call it bluff? As a people, we have one common enemy and that is the political class. Ask yourself why you struggle to make ends meet even in your state of origin whereas the governor and a selected few are living off the wealth of the people. The youths also share a portion of this blame as they don't mind selling their conscience for paltry sums. It is in this part of the world that I have come to see youths celebrate a politician for building flyover bridges with fairy bulbs all over them. Many fail to realize that the states can't do much because the power toBefore you leap, could at least mention your state of origin and also mention AT LEAST TWO WORLD CLASS INFRASTRUCTURE BUILT BY YOUR STATE GOVERNMENT FOR ITS PEOPLE before we start talking about a state governor building international structures for 'national purposes'? 2) exploit their resources for state developmentsI strongly share your line of thought here and would love the idea for states to control their resources, but you must understand this would not be the work of a restructured country. Never. Even if Jesus is made the governor without his divine powers, he won't accomplish muchI count this as blasphemy. Ask Ex Governor Peter Obi why he couldn't transform Anambra state into Dubai in 8years if he believes leadership failure is one of the problems facing Nigeria. After all he was a governor for 8years.My good friend, it seems you were born in the 90's. Was developed built in eight years. What is the primary source of income of Anambra, compared to Dubai Is your IGR presently aligning with your Dubai thought process in any way.One of Nigeria problems is the creation of states that have no powers to develop themselvesWrong. The primary problem of Nigeria is that most of these states contribute little or nothing yet want to build a castle/empire. DO YOU KNOW THAT STATES DO NOT HAVE THE JURISDICTION TOI'm sure everyone knows this and this would never be realized via restructuring. I belive I would be creating a thread on this before the day runs out. [s] Do you know that even if the NigerDeltans take control over their oil & gas, they can't build international seaports/airports/railways/etc to diversify their economy like Singapore because of the system Nigeria is operating[/s] Aren't you a confused fellow You clamoured for resource control up there, now come back to poke The Delta that she would not be able to diversify while your own people can Comparing Singapore to The Delta when we operate a unitary system of government, as opposed to Singapore that operates a parliamentary representative democratic republic whereby the President of Singapore is the head of state, the Prime Minister of Singapore is the head of government, and of a multi-party system, is not only funny but also an indication that you do not understand people and the various systems of government being practiced all over. Switzerland model remains the best for Nigeria, unfortunately, the Hausa-Fulani Yoruba elites have vowed never to embrace it.You clearly don't understand this. Switzerland operates a DIRECT DEMOCRACY and is the only country in the world to do so. That a rope fits a goat does not mean it would be the same for a dog. Below is why Switzerland's model can never work for us; 1. We are one of the most diversified country in the world, with over 250 ethnic groups. So, an open democracy cannot work. 2. Switzerland prides itself in agriculture, trade and industry. We don't. Igbos trade, but are quite lazy when it comes to manufacturing. The same goes for other parts of Nigeria. 3. About 72% of Swiss GDP is generated by the service sector and 27% by industry. The contribution from the agricultural sector is less than 1%. How would Nigeria beat this ![]() 4. The European Union (EU) is Switzerland's main trading partner. Around 60% of Swiss imports are from the EU, while 60% of Swiss exports are destined for EU countries. Who are Nigeria's main trading partner? How about you go ahead to name just one trading partner the Igbos have? 5. Switzerland has the lowest rate of value-added tax in Europe. 8% is levied on most goods and services, 3.8% on accommodation services, and 2.5% on basic necessities and other everyday items. How do we go around this without killing the government? That is why Obasanjo called for the assassination of Kanu. The IPOB is petty. You insulted the North and called them leeches, parasites and unprintable names. Now, they have asked you to leave their lands and you are crying? If I was a Northerner, I would have done worse. Is it any surprising today that no part of The Delta wants anything to do with you guys ![]() What is Restructuring to we Igbos.?This is your headache. I can't wait for you guys to leave and God knows I would be one of the saddest persons in the country that would see that you guys remain. Time will prove that Igbos will get any of these two through prayers, civil protests, sit at homes, boycotts, etc as prescribed by United NationsThe way you guys mention the UN is always laughable. There are so many problems in the world the UN holds as priority and Biafra is not one of the problems. Those ethnic groups that oppose us will live to regret for eternality their opposition to our desire. You guys are tad sensitive. |
