Yyeske:This is just about the funniest part of the entire drama. Ojukwu rationed bullets because he declared a war based on emotion. He never thought it out to plan now you hear them saying they are ready to war. They would soon cry to the Hague when they are plucked with rubber bullets. |
manikspears:I recently shared something similar recently. Truth is, that isn't the issue. I have analysed it several times and have come to conclude that Biafra won't happen for several reasons. The Igbos have burnt every available bridge known to them. For a people who lack tact and diplomacy, you would expect that others rally around them but no, they insult and claim they need no one when in reality they can't do without others. The beauty of the Igbo man is trade and he succeeds effortlessly in this because he roams every part of the country to ply his trade. No other region are more travelled than they are, yet they claim they are unfairly treated. An average Igbo man outside of the East understands that his chances of survival at home is thin because everyone trades back home. The question then is, who would buy if everyone sells? Literacy rate is quite low in the region because education comes second to trade. Yet, they blame the FG for this. Sad. The IGR of the entire South East, as at 2016, is so funny that you wonder why they should be given a special status. Politically, they come last and goofed big time in the general elections by coming out to reject Buhari. Interestingly, the Ohaneze Ndi Igbo shamelessly went before PMB to submit a list of long request the president 'owes' them. Sadly, Jonathan never lived up to his expectations for them and they never bothered to hold him accountable for his mighty failure. I have no reason to hate on Igbos and truth is, I don't. However, I believe it has gotten to a point where they should be allowed to leave. True, Nigeria might be hostile towards them but I for one would love to see how they would transform the South East to Dubai in less than ten years when they are clearly at a disadvantage. God knows I would give anything to make Biafra happen. I just can't wait for Kanu to succeed. |
FearGodinall:What is wrong with you guys? What makes you think I'm a Muslim? Because I asked that you kids be tolerant towards other people's beliefs? The sad thing about religion today is that one considers himself better than the other who in reality you don't even study your Bible let alone gather content within. I really don't need to call you names because it would be pointless. Drop the moniker and get some crazy names because it is obvious you don't fear God. That I don't pretty much fancy Islam should not mean that I have the liberty to rubbish what they hold in high esteem. Kids though... Funny. |
Pharoh:This just sums my point. |
manikspears:Not the whole South East, really. The thing is, there are more unlearned folks among the Igbos than the learned and the former are so crude to the point that they have adopted aggression as their only means of reasoning, even as seen on here. This is not to say that all Igbos support the IPOB. I for one want them to secede and stay on their own, but they are too confused to hang on to one objective. One minute, we want out, the next minute, you cannot chase us. Kanu has no plans and is bereft of ideas. As of now, he is about the most confused man in Nigeria. One minute he is Jewish, the next, he is somewhere in Anambra praying to the gods. The North has clearly had enough of the IPOB's impunity and I honestly don't blame them.. Sadly, the Igbos benefit more from Nigeria than other tribes but the usual, regular, greed and self-centred nature would not just make them curb their insatiable wants. Let's just wait and see how October one plays out. |
700 IPOB members Obiano has started his cleansing, far easier than I imagined. ![]() |
gurunlocker:Treason? How I am sure as hell the North would not be treading this hostile path had Kanu and his foot soldiers not spread hate. They insulted every part of the country and now claim treason when a part is warming up to contain their madness. |
These Northern folks should not judge the Igbo nation with the utterances of some ragtag jobless nonentities. They should know better. |
Neymar's father is extremely greedy and the conditions PSG tabled before Neymar is too good to be true. There is no way he won't take the bait. |
Got the codes. Thanks, Mukina2. |
How come no one is talking about the dog's teeth? Those look unusual. |
naijaking1:Muslims colleagues? Funny. |
Sanemind:This is not all. If you do a 2 months subscription package at an Airtel office, showroom or shop, you would get a free device (Mifi or Router) for the Unlimited 10 and Unlimited 20 respectively. And yes, once your data reaches the FUP threshold, throttling sets in. Saying it is worth it is an understatement. |
naijaking1:Tolerance. That they insult your religion or belief does not make them better. An eye for an eye would make the world go blind. |
kn23h:I presently live in Enugu and I kid you not on this. You cannot take this away from Enugu. The road network in Enugu is superb. I studied in Ife and still ply Osun-Oyo axis till date, just as I still travel to other parts of East and South. True, the said road network can only be found in just two LGAs but then, the same does not apply to Oyo. Oyo is too big to be managed as a single state, that's where the problem rests. In all honesty, I honestly don't consider Enugu as being developed compared to Oyo. Hotel thrives, but the necessary ingredients found in a typical city cum state are missing. No cinemas, just a single mall which quite doubles as the park of the state, other than Oakland. It is near torture each time I contemplate about going out on weekends. Yes, some roads are very horrible, particularly when you travel to places as Oji River but then, it does not necessarily imply that Oyo comes close to Enugu in this regard. I have travelled to far places within Oyo as Saki and I know what happened to my body after the scenario. |
aniomafirstson:Which Delta State are you talking about? The one blinded by the Uduaghan and the dumb Okowa or another? |
Unimaginable123:Ibadan is far more developed than Enugu. Without mincing words, I would say Enugu has one of the best, if not the best road network in the country, far better than Oyo but the truth is, development in Enugu only affects a tiny fraction of the state. Other local governments, other than the North, and partly south, are staunch villages. Even within the South, you would see villages of various degrees. Oyo is horrible when it comes to good road network, but other than that, Enugu does not come close to Oyo as a state. You cannot define the growth of a place by one or two local governments as is obtainable in Enugu. |
GodIsBiafran:Just so you know, Edo remains an integral part of The Delta and her region. So if you like, you could divide them like you would do your Wawa and Osu folks with your keypad. It wouldn't change the fact that they are who they are. |
GodIsBiafran:I really don't know how best to respond to this post you attributed to me, Matty and Amberon. So you saw us claim Ekiti because our parents are from there and we 'quickly' deleted it before you could screen grab You mean to tell me that you couldn't hold down your power key + whichever volume button but 'refreshed' the page and had the post wiped off just like that? You not only tell lies like a typical foot soldier would, but you actually hold nothing back while doing so, which I find appalling the most. Your brand of idiocy seems like it's tear rubber. Not sure I encountered it before. |
Liability:Thank you. Mukina2, could you be so kind to send all codes, please? |
usbcable:Viewership in the BPL is not the same as in the La Liga. Why the two rakes in more money can be blamed on how much the other teams assist in raking in for the Santander. A match between Gijon and Malaga could record 20,000 in attendance while a West Ham vs Crystal Palace would record more. True, it hinders the flow and impacts the little guys but the club owners owe there clubs whether they would want our break even or otherwise. The BPL is growing, yes, but it still does not take away the fact that every team in the league would still fall before a Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. Until other club owners in the La Liga consider breaking the bank and renovating their stadium, they would forever remain a second fiddle to the two. |
monerozi5590:Just got the news now. You can't imagine how excited I am. |
Ishilove:The dude is capitalising on the sudden elevated status he has attained. Honestly, I thought I was the only one who had thought how huge his second fall would be. I guess that makes the two of us. |
hammer2010:Who is this dumb idìot, nítorí Ọlọ́run So you clearly support those with stable means of income applying for the scheme just because they want to reap where their generations did not sow? The objective of the scheme is to assist those without jobs but then those with one are even struggling to get them, yet you would be one of those to cry marginalisation and corruption when in reality you do the same. I believe in the law of karma a whole lot. If you want to find out where I have made such call, I'd advise you dig through my posts. You are on of the cancer plaguing this nation. |
So it has gotten to the point where this dude would curse an entire state? My eyes have seen. Mynd44, it has happened. |
iphi:So you accepting the job would have implied you brought him down? So what if he is fired tomorrow? Whom do we really blame then? Why are people not listening, you plot with someone to bring another man down?So because you were informed that you would be taking over from him meant that you plotted with your Head? I ask you again if you were my trainer and you found out i changed some figures that got you sacked what will you do to me?I personally don't endorse that figures be falsified just to ask someone out, no. Note I didn't even mention that aspect in any of my post. If falsifying figures was the only available option for you getting the job, then you did right but on sheer emotion because he is a family man and taking his place would leave him with nothing? Oh well... |
hammer2010:Funny. A meagre #30k when I barely touch my salary? You must be high on God knows what. Besides, why on God's earth should I be pained? Why? |
omenka:Good grief! ![]() Just when I thought the Randy Orton part would kill me, you added another without thinking twice ![]() |
Thisis2raw:I saw this coming. A quick social media check would tell you most of those people have a primary source of income. The thing with Nigerians is sheer greed and corruption. I think the FG should start planning on prosecuting those who see the scheme as an avenue to making quick money. |
majekdom2:Channels to the sea are being blocked by sea water and rather than flowing out, the channels usher in water from the sea. Blocked drainages are not responsible for the heavy flood. Yes, Lagos is a coastal area and we all know this but the truth is it would continue in this manner if the ebb tide does not come anytime soon. A huge chunk of ice was reported to have split and would gradually melt as reported last week. States such as Benue and a handful of other states have been making rounds since last month. This is not just the work of blocked drainages. Nassarawa: https://www.nairaland.com/3910877/flood-ravages-parts-nasarawa-state Benue: https://www.nairaland.com/3919874/makurdi-community-flooded-benue-state Niger: https://www.nairaland.com/3911235/video-flood-suleja-niger-state The list goes on. |
asorocker:And who would be responsible for their feeding and accommodation? The success of Igbos all over rests with other people who patronise them. You are asking people whose major source of livelihood is trade to return to a place where every Tom, Dick and Harry trades. Who would patronise who, please? |
foyeks2001:The problem with Lagos is not blocked drainage but reverse drainage. The sea level is rising gradually and would still get worse. Global warming is playing out gradually. |
