EmeeNaka:For a people who claim they are the descendant of Gad or Judas, or whoever it is, I'd say yes, everything is wrong with that. I have no issue with any state securing a loan but the mere fact that some Igbo governors did not blink without securing the same 'Islamic' loan which birthed cries of Islamization and its grand plan to transform all Nigerians into Muslims when it was announced tears back goes ahead to show how confused you lots are. An Obiano, should the chance present itself, would not think twice before prostrating before a Tinubu today to get what he wants, just as some Igbo governors have done. Your politicians wouldn't bother if you all don scarves as a new mode of worship and would not mind sacrificing Kanu to save their prized assets. Today, you didn't call Nigeria a zoo but claimed you are a benefit of what the zoo offers. The zoo isn't the root of your problems; the leaders directly placed over you is. I sure hope you get this. |
EmeeNaka:Isn't this confusion? Today you cry and brand some folks as 'abokis' and Muslims and claim there plan all along was to Islamize Nigeria, yet, didn't fail to claim Nigeria when it comes to an Islamic loan. |
Germaindefoe:It is only the ICC and not something to be taken seriously. Zidane seems to be trying out the youngsters now like he did against Man United. Besides, we cannot lose sight of August 8 just because we are playing a pre season tournament that wouldn't really count. |

And Nigerians would gullibly buy. Shortly, we would have that of Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and every other club in the BPL. |
Where is from does not concern. He should reject every offer Madrid puts his way. We don't need him. ![]() |
Ngozi123:And how did he do so? Is he supposed to be sending food to supposed enemy who had declared herself a sovereign state? What sort of leader leads his own into war without storing foods and weaponries? You guys make it look like Awolowo went for the children directly, yet, Ojukwu and his generals maintained their dark beards and even looked healthier till he fled. What was he feeding on? |
Rajmeista:Very true. @the emboldened, you wouldn't blame us. This is a club whose DNA is embedded with winning. We don't celebrate mediocrity and we are very impatient when it comes to our players. Casillas suffered the same, just as Ronaldo and almost every member of the team. Bale is going through trying times not because he is a flop. Quite frankly, most Madridistas understand why and as long as others are covering for his failures, he might not really get the cane. Problems would come the day the world depends on him and he fails to deliver. |
Rajmeista:Well, I believe there is a reason he has not been able to perform up to par. Other than his injuries, the entire team works as a network to deliver to Ronaldo. Besides, the team is so easy that almost everyone scores. So for a forward as Bale scoring, it is not special save he does about 30+ in a season, which is almost impossible for several reasons. 1. Bale runs but lacks creativity.I totally agree with you here. He has a strength and I believe we should live him for that. There are so many players like him in the game that does not even come close. 2. Bale is injury prone which many has likened him to Kaka when he was at Madrid.I hate to say this but I have to. We have horrible physios as a club. Bale keeps falling to the same injury every time, gets treated and goes back. You cannot blame him. The right thing to do is to isolate him and let him heal at his own pace rather than inject him with pain killers and push him onto the field as instructed by the board. 3. Bale's recent display negates what made BBC firm then. Now you often find Bale jousting in the box with Ronaldo and Benzema. He doesn't stay on the flank anymore where his strength actually lies, leaving Carvajal running back and forth at the flank facing the 2 and 11 of the opponents.Yes, I have come to notice this too. Again, it is not his fault and I am not in any way making excuses for him. Ronaldo has greatly reduced, performance-wise. He is only lucky Zidane is around to manage him. He rarely flanks like he used to and tend to switch at intervals, which hinders Bale and Benzema. This is why, often times, Benzema is caught in no man's land with the ball on the flanks and ends up goofing. The BBC was dangerous because each had their defined positions. The story is different today. Ronaldo jumps where the ball is, causing the other two to swap roles. 4. To sum it all, he doesn't play 90 mins even in big matches. And i am sure there are matches you also would have clamoured for the coach to remove him. This is not only about Asensio or Vazquez stepping up, It's also about Bale not raising his game even when his fitTruth is, we are blessed as a club to have so many talents. That Bale isn't playing full matches is all attributed to his injury and the ever ready Isco. Of course, players do have bad days on the pitch and a player would only give a sublime performance if he had not lost touch. Injuries make players rusty and inefficient. The same plagues Bale. A player signed with such amount should know a huge expectation will be placed on him. If he were to be signed around 40-60, trust me there wouldn't have been much criticism. When Bale was signed no Barca fan could compare Neymar to him. But now can we in our right minds compare Bale to Neymar?I wouldn't want us to get carried away with comparisons because it can be unfair in some cases. I believe you still remember that Bale was a defender converted to forward? He didn't set out playing 11. But even at that, I knew his chances of succeeding was little. Others hardly succeed where Ronaldo play. There was a game wherein we were comfortably leading and another goal was added, Ronaldo got angry because he hadn't scored a single goal in the game. We won but someone was displeased. Truth is, I sense side talks in the team but Zidane has been amazing with the team. A while lot would surface when some players retire. Neymar and Bale are very different players. One more thing, you were right about Ronaldo but the coach, president, and madridstas like me have accepted that about him. Besides, Ronaldo has been assisting many goals so what are we actually saying?True. Ronaldo has been assisting a lot lately because he no longer flanks like he used to. He pace has really slowed and he played most part of last season as a striker rather than as a winger. Shortly before the season ended, there were reports in Spain that Ronaldo had claimed he preferred Benzema to Morata. Goal further claimed that the talks must have come from the fact that Morata is more clinical than Benzema and he ends up outshining Ronaldo when the duo plays. I love the team a great deal but I'm fast praying Ronaldo retires so that the likes of Odegaard would come through. Mbappe would only be a second fiddle even if he tries to make an impression. Ronaldo is a highly competitive player and it is fast becoming dangerous because others end up paying for this. |
hardeycute:From the look of things, the deal might just end up working, which would be a sad day for right thinking Madridistas. Neymar is pure class but the politics of the game might never make him consider Madrid except the like of Ronaldo, R.Carlos and Pele step in. |
wintersnow:Why are you doing this? ![]() |
What do they really gain by posing as females? I'm really lost here. |
cutievik:It seems you were listening to either Lionel Richie or Adele while typing. ![]() All the same, I same 'AMEN'. |
lailo:That's just a child. Haba. |
Rajmeista:Mbappe is out rightly overrated. I believe it is wrong to consider Bale a flop. Other players suffer at the expense of Ronaldo in the team, which I have come to hate. Bale is always subliminal when he plays without Ronaldo. We have seen him decide the outcome of matches countless times. As for Mbappe, I pray negotiations break down. Mbappe isn't worth more than #50. He is yet to be tested and going ahead to sign him would mean buying a black box without ascertaining the content. Perez can be power and money drunk but I pray he uses his brain on this one. |
This man is broke already. He wants the FG to meet with the 'stake-holders' so that their hands could be greased. Criminal. |
Biafman:At the emboldened, yes! Don't dabble into waters you don't understand. Catalonia is being harassed presently by the Spanish government and they are still talking about two more referenda after the first has been conducted. FYI, take some time to read up on the Catalan revolt and see how things played out. Besides, you shouldn't compare these countries with Biafra. What you guys feed on is hate. Catalan presently has her regional government compared to Biafra. So what is your question again? |
nextprince:This sums it up. |
attackgat:So you want to eat your Apku and still have it? You want to breakaway from the zoo and still remain in it? Issokay. |
This came out wrong. She lost Jaiye to the cold hands of death and many would interprete this to be that she could sacrifice Jaiye if everything could be restarted. This is disappointing. She should at least respect the Aboderins, if not for anything. |
So who did NYSC post then? It seems the scheme does not even know a thing about its Corp members. He was obviously not fired. It seems he got tired of the job or perhaps, found a better offer. Reminds me of FBI agents who joined the agency with great enthusiasm, only to given a desk and paper filing roles. Lalasticlala Mynd44 |
Hayah:It has always been. |
odomanis:With this explanation of yours, I can now confirm that Kanu is daft. Kanu is one conman, we know, but does that now translate into every Tom, Dick and Harry issuing ultimata to the Nigerian state? |
OreMI22:Could you please explain how Igbos are actually oppressed in Nigeria and others are treated better in such areas? The same way Fulani sons twist our demand for a referendum which has been held in too many decent countries around the world to determine issues of independence as a call for war.Your demand was never twisted. It was taken head on from catch words and phrases such as 'the zoo must fall' among many other derogatory cum unprintable names. Anyhow, you might want to know this generation is willing to fight you for our freedom if it is absolutely required. We are only following due process so that the entire world can bear witness that Nigeria is the aggressor and not Biafra when the time comes. But we are not afraid of that time. Infact, Many truly wish we are at that stage already. But we shall take time to exhaust all legal means first.Oh! You're bragging about another war again? I just hope a more intelligent man than Ojukwu would lead the fore this time, else, this one, God forbid, would not last a week. |
TheKingdom:The EU is not a country. Its model is similar to a confederate state which clearly does not exist. See it this way, the European Union is similar to the ECOWAS but more complex. Any country can pull out. The same does not necessarily apply to countries who feel they can secede when they feel like. You guys should honestly stop comparing certain practices with your quest. They are not even closely related. |
nopains:Let me assume you would not scream 'Afonja' in your next post and indulge you. Is the man in the video not the same as the one who posed with Kanu in the second picture page one of the thread? Do you really think Kanu wasn't in the room there when he spoke? If Kanu was strongly against restructuring, why then didn't he interject the man when he made the call for restructuring? Start thinking right away... |
whitebeard:Oh my world! Six years of watching Naruto. You just took my mind back to the Uchiha clan. |
PenSniper:Fine by us! First, let's start with an exodus first. It is the best way of telling the world you are serious. Ask your state governments to stop collecting funds from the FG, and ask your people to return home and see that they do. Trust me, you would get Biafra in a week. |
CioAngels:Very true, the North had requested to pull out of Nigeria at the time but did not go about insulting everyone and everything in their path like these folks are doing now. They never went about wishing Nigeria would fall to its knees. What you have right now is a first degree hate and it is not only dangerous to the country but even to the person who nurtures it. Besides, no one would listen to them. This is what happens when a people don't understand tact and diplomacy. |
PenSniper:The mentality of an average Igbo man. It must be about feeding, yeah? And yes, they are a bunch of ragtag, nonentities. If they had sources of livelihood they would not be this dumb to leave behind their businesses and start forming barricades all over with their black, burnt, squishy faces like monkeys who tasted limes for the first time. We definitely look but see differently. The key here is perception. |
fratermathy:Most pastors are marriage counsellors but for reasons unknown, Suleiman just wanted to spice his service. |
