WeNoGoDie: Pastor Sulaiman and his wife earlier mentioned in their own version of the story that they sent quite some money to Stephanie when she cried for help from the man of God regarding her ugly plight in Canada.
Stephanie has to prove its not the same transaction. I mean she has to show something Suleman's camp cannot defend if she is to be truly believed.
This is my opinion and I'm not taking anyone's side. I'm just being objective. I agree with you. However, it was Apostle who sent the money and not the wife, so the idea of 'they' does not stand. Again, in the wife's interview, she did mention that the man is a philanthropist and Otobo mentioned several times that Apostle sent sums in different currencies, ranging from 2000 dollars to 5k Euros or thereabout. A single transaction wouldn't prove much since both parties admitted that he sent money. |

Billyonaire: In my early days, I was in charge of records, and I will not mention where. It is digital age and every data input goes to the server directly and the President can access these data and formulate policies to guide the country. This President does not even know how to work with basic electronic data interface, and I do not even know if many Nigerians understand that we fail because we have no knowledge of data science and the use of data for planning.
Now, let me say this; The chief policy thrust of this government has been Anti-corruption and Recovery of Stolen Asset. One would have thought that there is a data bank where every photograph of every recovered asset, every digit of every recovered funds are entered using a timeline, such that the President can sit down his command center, and query the database to have a panoramic view of the state of the Economy and welcome briefings after making personal studies of the data stream. You do not run a country like you are running a zoo and every Wednesday they sit down to discuss rubbish while the citizens are committing suicide. Why you are you supporting these ignorant people ? I hope you are not ignorant. Here we go again... The emboldened gives you away. We assume that is the way it should work but that isn't how it works in reality. If every statistics go directly to the president’s table through the government's server, then there would not be need for bureaus and agencies, particularly when it involves data management and archiving. Data, information and statistics are only made available to the President when he requests them. While agencies and bureaus work for the purpose of information availability for their country, it is never the function of a president to keep them except when there is a need to fall back on them for references. Your second paragraph is very laughable. It seems you have been shaped and tuned by fiction that you cannot tell reality for dreams. Even the United States, as advanced as we claim she is, often find reasons to release data to the public via her bureaus. And let me put it straight that most data are primarily hard copies before being translated into soft/programming copies, and the latter are not fully released to the public, depending on the sensitivity of the information contained therein. The more you try, the more I believe your ideas are shared by thrillers and sci-fis. Advanced countries such as China, United States, the UK would need only data collectors if we are to take your theoretical assertion seriously. |

The agencies in charge of these loots would be the one to provide data and figures to the President. Meanwhile has anyone noticed that there is no clear cut difference between APC supporters and Sheriff supporters. They are usually one and the same people. That will truly tell any discerning mind who and what sheriff is all about in PDP.
As for sheriff, he always claim that he is in interested in a free and fair process and doesn't habour any sinister political interest, yet anytime anyone or any committee asks both him and makarfi to step down for a free and fair convention, he will walk away. This goes to show that the PDP leaders were right when they stated that sheriff can not be trusted. Some of us remember how he presented himself as a willing tool to be used by abacha to backstab his fellow politicians and perpetuate abacha from a military president to a civilian president. Anyone with a contrary opinion from the sickly one you think you have is a BMC. How predictable! Just so you know, I don't care about the PDP or the APC since most of you are still stuck in a loop to discern that these folks are all out for themselves alone. Might I add that 16 years of misrule and wealth gathering, coupled with great lootings has not been able to save the PDP you would carelessly sacrifice your life for. The part has not been out for less than four years and they can barely get their acts together. Ask those who used to be on the PDP payroll, ask them what changed and why they have stopped coming on here to scream like one possessed. See, anything but the PDP is a great idea for me. The APC is not in any way different but we wouldn't allow ourselves to be used again just like the PDP did. I don't just want the demise of the PDP, I want its annihilation. President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ibrahim Magu, the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), Mr. Abubakar Malami, Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Godwin Emefiele to provide a detailed submission on amount of monies recovered so far by the anti-graft agencies, in its anti-corruption war, since the inception of this administration in June, 2015.
Also directed to do same are the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Mr. Lawal Daura, the Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC), Mr. Ekpo Nta and the National Security Adviser (NSA), General Babagana Monguno.
The agencies were also directed to submit a detailed inventory of assets seized, including vehicles, jewelry’s and other valuables, latest by yesterday, Friday April 7, 2017.
They were ordered to submit the details of recovered monies and assets in their possession also by yesterday. THISDAY checks revealed that most of the agencies except the EFCC have since complied with the deadline given by the president.
As at the time of filing in this report yesterday night, it was not certain if the EFCC Chairman, had complied with the directive which lapsed yesterday.
THISDAY gathered that the directive by the President was issued to the agencies two weeks ago.
The source said that the directive was informed by the need to “place a value on the total recoveries made by the government, whose anti-graft prosecutors have been accused of being unable to secure convictions, but have been quick to announce their seizures, even temporary ones to the public.”
It added that the President needed the inventory to ensure transparency and accountability as rumours of untoward practices continued to swell round the recoveries.
There have been allegations that some of the seized valuables like land documents, cars and vehicles had been stolen by some officials of the agencies that seized them.
The source said: “In fact, in several yards across the country, vehicles seized by EFCC like Range Rovers, Jaguars, Prado jeeps, and expensive cars are decaying. The cars are allowed to rot, leading to massive waste.”
“Also remember that certificates of occupancy seized from the home of an ex-governor were found in the market, where some EFCC officials were allegedly trying to sell them. The case is now with the police. Also at the Senate hearing for his confirmation, Magu was unable to put a figure or an estimate to the amount of monies, local and foreign currency, he has recovered so far, or provide a value to properties, cars and jewelries that have been seized,” the source added.
When THISDAY contacted Senior Adviser to the President on Communication, Mr. Femi Adesina on details of directive, he stated that he was unaware of it but that the president had been receiving series of briefings since he returned to the country and that the said directive would be nothing out of the ordinary. https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2017/04/08/buhari-demands-details-of-monetary-asset-recoveries-from-efcc-others/

Politics › PDP Crisis: Sheriff Rules Out Future Meeting With Jonathan by Sanchez01(op): 6:41am On Apr 08, 2017 |
The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, has vowed not to attend any reconciliation meeting with former President Goodluck Jonathan, stating that reconciliation has died in the party.
The former Borno State governor was speaking on the botched reconciliatory meeting called by the former President in Abuja on Thursday. He accused the former President of deviating from agreements he said he had with him before they agreed to be part of the meeting, which was held at the Yar’Adua Centre.
Sheriff, who walked out of the meeting when he was denied the opportunity to preside over it, said that there was no way the party would be meeting and he would sit as a mere spectator when he remains the only person recognised by law as the authentic national chairman of the party.
Speaking to our correspondent in a telephone interview through his appointed Deputy National Chairman, Dr. Cairo Ojougboh in Abuja on Friday, Sheriff also said he would not appoint anyone to join the 40-member committee the former President promised to set up on the reconciliation.
Rather, he said he would stick to the recommendations made by the Peace and Reconciliation Committee headed by the Governor of Bayelsa State, Mr. Seriake Dickson.
He said, “We will never attend any peace meeting to be called by the former President on reconciliation anymore. No. Never! We won’t go there. We are no longer interested in such reconciliation.
“We will not attend any other meeting to be called by him. We would cut off every leprous hand in the party. The former President can only chair a committee on his private foundation, not that of the PDP when we have a national chairman.
“We are not happy with the way he handled the failed meeting on Thursday. He did not respect the Court of Appeal judgment which pronounced Sheriff as the national chairman of the party.
“He (Jonathan) has no legal backing to chair PDP Stakeholders’ meeting when we have a sitting chairman. The former President does not have such a right. The failed meeting had scattered all the good works achieved by the Dickson committee.
“We hail our governors, except the duo of Nyesom Wike and Ayodele Fayose of Rivers and Ekiti states respectively, who worked against the meeting.”
However, the National Caretaker Committee of the party headed by Senator Ahmed Makarfi disagreed with Sheriff, saying the former President had the right to lead the meeting.
He said since the initiative to call the meeting came from the former leader, it was his right to preside over it and also dictate how the meeting would progress.
He said it was wrong for Sheriff to have wanted to preside over a meeting where issues that would affect the party’s leadership would be discussed.
Makarfi, who spoke through the spokesperson of the caretaker committee, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, described Sheriff as being selfish.
He said in order to give peace a chance; the caretaker committee agreed that Sheriff would speak at the gathering before Makarfi, but regretted that instead of being at the gathering on time, Sheriff decided to come late to the meeting.
Adeyeye said, “Jonathan conveyed the meeting and he had the right to chair it, because it was for reconciliation. If it was not called by the former President, more than 90 per cent of those in attendance would not have been there.
“You cannot preside over your own case. It is like a quarrel between husband and wife. There is no way either of them would have presided over a meeting where such disagreement would be discussed.
“We agreed that he (Sheriff) would speak first after the former President. But instead, he came late to the meeting, hours after it had started. He was to speak after the former President, but he came when the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Senator Walid Jibrin, was almost done with his speech.”
Adeyeye added that in order to avoid crisis, Makarfi who was to speak after Sheriff was asked not to because Sheriff was not at the gathering then.
“He came late to the meeting, which is even against the protocol. So, instead of Makarfi to speak, the BoT chairman took over the podium,” he added.
Adeyeye, a former minister of state for works, said the gathering also agreed with the position of Wike and Fayose that Sheriff should not be allowed to lead the meeting because “it was a reconciliation meeting and that we needed an impartial person to lead.”
He said Sheriff remains a “disputed” chairman of the party until the Supreme Court makes a pronouncement on it, adding that both Sheriff and Ojougboh “are illiterate because they don’t know the genesis of the party and what it stands for.”
He added, “Sheriff should leave our party for us and should not destroy it. He does not have the support of more than 10 per cent of members of the party. He is a disputed chairman. As for us, we will continue to respect the former President because he is the leader of the party.”
Also reacting to the development, the Governor of Ekiti State, and Chairman, PDP Governors’ Forum, Mr. Ayo Fayose, in a telephone interview with Saturday PUNCH, described Sheriff as an impostor and someone sent by the ruling All Progressives Congress to destroy PDP.
Fayose said, “I will not work with him. He is a betrayal of confidence and does not represent peace and hope. I will not be part of any meeting with such a person. If I may holistically respond to his statement on no reconciliation, the statement is good riddance to bad rubbish.
“His (Sheriff) alliance with former President Olusegun Obasanjo and PDP destroyed All Peoples Party and All Nigeria Peoples Party. He is at it again but this will be the last of the series. I regret my association with him and bringing him forth initially.”
Fayose alleged that anyone supporting, promoting or financing Sheriff is an enemy of Nigeria. “Our country will not end up in a one party system which I imagine is the reason why his business with the APC is thriving,” he added.
Also in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Idowu Adelusi, Fayose was quoted as saying, “It is now obvious that he (Sheriff) is working for enemies of former President Goodluck Jonathan and the PDP.”
The governor said; “From what Ali Modu Sheriff did yesterday, it should now be clear to all well-meaning Nigerians that he is not acting on his own. He is an agent of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and by extension an enemy of democracy in Nigeria.”
“If he (Sheriff) cannot sit with the leader of our party, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, I am also telling him that we in the PDP are also not interested in holding any discussion with him. He is a virus that has infected the PDP and by the grace of God, he will be cured permanently.”
In a similar development, Fayose, who spoke on a programme on Channels Television monitored by one of our correspondents, said he was not bound to remain in the PDP as he could decide to pursue his political ambition elsewhere.
The Ekiti State governor said that nobody could make him remain in a place if he does not truly wish to be there.
Fayose accused Sheriff of insulting leaders of the party with his attitude, describing him as an “impossible character who nothing can change.”
Meanwhile, Ojougboh said that Sheriff and his team would soon commence a nationwide mobilisation of members of the party with the hope of preparing them for the national convention.
Asked when the convention would hold, Ojougboh said the members of the National Working Committee would announce the date and programmes “as soon as we are done with the nationwide tour.” http://punchng.com/pdp-crisis-sheriff-rules-out-future-meeting-with-jonathan/

Was there any country created to be indivisible? It is very funny how people's opinions would get on your nerves. It doesn't differentiate you from the illiterate, common northerner. A country can only exist as far as it is serving the needs of the people who came together to agree to belong to the country. Wrong! There are several countries that are in existence today that do not benefit its people. Zimbabwe is an example of such country. The country is solely for the President and his cabinet and the people are not cared for. Spain is another country. These two countries don't even see to their needs being met either from a divide or general. The same goes for North Korea. If these countries have their way, they would either break away or kill their leaders. However, just like Spain that shares a similar plight with Nigeria right now, Catalans have the right to secede even as they claim they share nothing with Spain. We all know the story till date. It is even suspected that the British man did not say what was credited to him in Kogi state. Even if he did, don't believe that Britain shall send army to fight Biafra for your Muslim/Fulani Empire Nigeria. That's like fighting together and sending arms to Islamic terrorists. Apparently you don't know what the western world is capable of just to protect its interest. France sold weapons to Nigerians and Biafrans while the same Britain stood by Nigeria. To what end? Simple, Trade deals and freebies. US and Britain will NEVER sell weapons to your Muslim/Fulani army to fight Biafra in today's world. No British or US soldier shall side with your quasi Boko Haram Janjhaweeds forces to fight Biafra. Either you are naive or ignorant of this. These countries don't know Muslims from Christians so long profits and trades are involved. Ask Donald Trump! Most of the rebels in Africa today are funded by these very same people. France made profits from both Nigeria and Biafra by selling weapons to both. The best weapons went to the person with the most money and trade deals. It is that simple. Love peaceful Resolution of Issues - Use Referendum, as the British used it in Brexit and in Scotland. It is funny how you people embrace peace when the chips are down. I have mentioned it several times that the only way around this is peace but an average semi-illiterate who calls himself a Biafran would chant 'Biafra or death' and when his colleagues are shot, he cries and curse like a child. Those behind the agitation are not helping in any way. Their approach and the brainwashing they have passed on is that of violence and profanity. You hear them call for the destruction of Nigeria and you expect the President to remain calm over war threats? It's stupid your dependence on war. After war, issues that caused war are still settled on the negotiation table. The person you quoted didn't call for war. And just like I mentioned on several threads, the so called folks deluding themselves and calling for war are those that were born recently and they even find it hard to translate the pictures that are often shared all over. You have politicians who are not even interested in the ideology as they are hell bent on keeping their positions. Find out what Catalan politicians are doing and how vocal they have been. The contradiction is on you as most of what you preached are what your The fellow agitators kick against. For them it is Biafra or death. The same Kanu who claimed he was a Brit, thinking they would come to his rescue stayed mum. Trust me, the bigger picture here is not Nigeria but Britain as she would do anything to protecting her interest. |

BMedia: This means several things:
1. The US is also in support of one Nigeria because the UK and the US are long standing allies that never go against one another, especially on issues of sovereignty.
2. The UK and US are the most powerful members of the UN with veto powers, so a UN sponsored/supervised referendum is out of the question; it's just not happening.
3. In the event of military engagement in the quest for biafra, the UK and US will be on Nigeria's side again and defend her sovereignty (through sale of weapons or outright participation in the melee) like they did in 1967.
4. The Nigerian government now has even more impetus to prosecute and punish Nnamdi Kanu, a Briton, with this renewed UK support for an indivisible Nigeria.
5. The IPOB propaganda to paint Nigeria in bad light through fraudulent claims so as to gain the sympathy / support of the international community, has failed woefully.
What a sad day for the Liepods. They will soon tell you Trump is coming to rescue them |

Real Madrid: story so far, key players, why they can winReal Madrid made a sluggish start, with late goals a theme (to their benefit and not), but the dream of becoming the first team to retain the UEFA Champions League is alive and well. Story so farFor just the second time in eight seasons Real Madrid had to settle for second in their group – and as in 2012/13, it was Dortmund who finished above them. The German team profited from late equalisers in both encounters, though Madrid were grateful for one of their own at Legia and twice against Sporting CP. The holders blew away the cobwebs in the last 16, though, overpowering an impressive Napoli side 6-2 on aggregate. Next up: Bayern. Record this season: P8 W5 D3 L0 F22 A12 Pivotal momentThere probably isn't one key instance but rather several moments which, together, illustrate Madrid's ability to conjure the goals that change or define games. In the round of 16 against Napoli, Karim Benzema equalised within ten minutes of the hosts falling behind at the Bernabéu. When Real's eventual 3-1 lead looked under threat following Dries Mertens' opener in the Naples return, the visitors summoned the perfect response. Why this is Madrid's yearSimply put: they have the stuff of champions. The same pervasive self-belief that got Madrid through the 2014 and 2016 finals against a redoubtable Atlético side makes it impossible to write off Zinédine Zidane's men. If they can overcome Bayern, then the portents will be especially good considering the Munich club were defeated along the way to Madrid becoming European champions in 2014 (semi-finals), 2002 (quarters) and 2000 (semis). Bayern v Real Madrid down the years: Six great goalsMain attraction: Cristiano Ronaldo – To survive and prosper against the mighty Bayern, Real may well need Ronaldo to reprise the vintage scoring form of UEFA Champions League campaigns past. The recently bronze-cast forward has netted only twice this European season, though you would never bet against him. Rising star: Casemiro – Benzema and Álvaro Morata are important support acts in attack yet Brazilian midfield anchor Casemiro has become a particularly central performer for this Madrid team. The 25-year-old even weighed in with the rubber-stamping third goal at home to Napoli. Unsung hero: Sergio Ramos – The captain possibly doesn't get the credit he deserves for his match-winning (or at least turning) goals. His header soon after the break in Naples removed his side from a sticky situation and followed similarly decisive scoring interventions in two recent UEFA Champions League finals as well as last year's UEFA Super Cup. http://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/news/newsid=2454112.html

Bayern: story so far, key players, why they can winThe Bundesliga champions made a slow start to the UEFA Champions League but, settled under Carlo Ancelotti, exploded into life in the last 16 by demolishing Arsenal. Story so far: BayernThe German champions never really got out of second gear in the group stage, advancing with two games to spare despite a 1-0 loss at Atlético. A shock 3-2 defeat by Rostov had fans of bigger rivals sensing weakness, but a thumping 10-2 aggregate victory against Arsenal in the last 16 summarily banished such thoughts. Next up: Real Madrid. Record this season: P8 W6 D0 L2 F24 A8 Pivotal momentFor all their success in recent years, Bayern's lacklustre performances on their travels in Europe have been an obvious weakness for others to exploit. They journeyed to Eindhoven in November without an away win in 11 months and that looked like being extended when they went behind. Two Robert Lewandowski goals broke the spell; a 5-1 victory at Arsenal made sure. Why this is Bayern's yearThere is a reason why Bayern, for all their problems on their travels, have reached the semi-finals three seasons running: in Munich they are formidable. It is three years since they last failed to win a home game in the UEFA Champions League, a competition record run of 16 triumphs. That, allied with improved away form, means they will be hard to beat.

Are you God ?
It's only God that can decides the future with certainty Really? So at this point in your life, you cannot tell when someone is plagued by a failing health? I don't need to play God to realize this and I don't need to play partisan politics over this. The President’s health is not a stone that would need to be on fire everytime. The other day, the presidency claimed that it cannot reveal to the masses how much of the country's wealth was spent on the President's UK trip. The same people he swore, pledged and sold his anti corruption mantra to. Again, he is planning on going after the same presidency debunked bringing his doctors down to Nigeria. With an erratic health challenge as this, you don't need a Suleiman or TB Joshua to tell you all is not well. Let the president pen his resignation and retire peacefully. You can't expect him to use the heads of 180 million people. We are not ìdiots. |

Politics › How Demonic And Satanic Forces Have Held Nigeria Hostage For 24 Years by Sanchez01(op): 5:23am On Apr 07, 2017 |
The forces that arrested, sabotaged and underdeveloped Nigeria in the past 24 years are still on the prowl, ravaging and looking for others to devour.
I was shocked to the marrow when I heard that some All Progressives Congress (APC) senators asked the National Working Committee of the party led by the National Chairman of the party, Chief Odigie Oyegun, to prevail on President Buhari to drop all charges against Senate President Bukola Saraki at the Code of Conduct corruption trial. Words failed me when it dawned on me that this potentially dangerous demand is coming from some APC senators who are supposed to be the agents of change we promised Nigerians while seeking their mandate in 2015. This prompted me to reflect on the events of the past 24 years, starting from the 1993 election of Chief MKO Abiola to bring hope to Nigerians and how he was crushed and decimated by demonic and satanic forces after five years struggle to defend and sustain the mandate. Time and space will not permit me to recall the quantum of energies expended to defend the mandate for five years, the wars, on the streets, the casualties - including MKO Abiola and the late wife Kudirat Abiola, among others - the damage to the national project, the devastation of our economy, the balkanization of the political entity called Nigeria, the alienation by the international community making Nigeria a pariah nation, and the ethnic division it visited on Nigeria.
After killing Chief Abiola on July 7, 1998, the same satanic and demonic forces still bent on decimating Nigeria further decided to foist the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the retired General Olusegun Obasanjo on Nigerians. In sixteen years, from 1999 to 2015, the same forces wasted huge resources running into hundreds of billions of dollars earned during the oil boom. The unconscionable looters and unrepentant thieves diverted and stashed away these huge resources into private pockets. These funds have been traced to private accounts both at home and abroad, traced to real estate both in Nigeria and abroad, and traced to farms. The rest is now history.
In 2015 Nigerians elected retired General Muhammadu Buhari who promised to bring change in the way we live, the way we work, the way we reason, the way we do business and the way we manage our affairs as a nation. The real meat of his campaign was to reduce corruption to the barest minimum. Before then, corruption had ruined and destroyed a country blessed with both human and material resources.
By the time President Buhari took over in 2015, our infrastructure, hospitals, universities, and national air carriers were in ruins. Our power, agricultural, and manufacturing sectors went underground. President Buhari planned to tackle these numerous problems by fighting corruption.
As a consequence of all this, it now behooves the government to manage the little that we have, but the satanic, demonic and greedy Nigerian politicians will not allow the system to work. They are governors, judges, law makers, ministers, and political appointees, serving and retired, who do not want the system to work. They work together to circumvent and destroy every step taken by the President to move Nigeria forward. Come to think of it, President Buhari dissipated all the energies he would have deployed to matters of governance to run for the exalted office in 2003, 2007, 2011 and 2015 (12 years). In fact, he cried in 2011 when he missed it again believing that it was all over, but man is not God. God has a reason for making Buhari the President at a time like this and at this present stage and age to begin to reinvent and reposition Nigeria, but the forces that stopped Chief MKO Abiola in 1993 are at work again. For 24 years they held Nigeria hostage. They steal all our money and they will not want to be investigated. They bribe judges and lawyers to get their freedom. They present forged certificates and false assets declarations and ask you to go to hell. They decide how much they must earn and the type of vehicles they want. They blackmail the President and try to twist his hands to yield to their criminal demands forgetting that he has the mandate of 150 million Nigerians. They steal people’s money and ask you to go to hell. The satanic and demonic forces in Nigeria have no conscience, no souls, no love, no hearts, no brains, no heads, no eyes, no common sense, no life, and no shame.
They can still repeat what they did to MKO Abiola on July 7, 1998. They killed the Hope 1993 project and they are ready to repeat the same with the 2015 Change project. The other day I saw Senators Saraki and Dino Melaye in a group photograph with the former President Babangida who democratized corruption and corrupted our democracy since 1993. Instantly, I figured out that the forces of darkness are gathering momentary again. IBB represents our ugly past. To pose with Saraki and Melaye - the known enemies of the Change mantra - speaks volume that they can repeat the ugly events of the past 24 years. The forces that arrested, sabotaged and underdeveloped Nigeria in the past 24 years are still on the prowl, ravaging and looking for others to devour. They can kill President Buhari just to have their way. The President and his handlers must be very careful as we are dealing with reprobate minds, these cultural savages and workers of iniquity.
Granted that we still have some small number of responsive ,responsible and accountable Senators in the 8th Senate, I still share the opinion that the Red Chamber is no longer useful to Nigeria, all things considered. It has become a den for treasury looters and unconscionable characters. Nigeria must borrow a leaf from Senegal and Venezuela. Given our dwindling resources and the monumental problems facing Nigeria as a political entity, the Senate has become a burden and a house of cards. To all intents and purposes and with every sense of responsibility I think that Nigeria can do without the Senate. For now, the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is of zero consequences. Let the Senate cease to exist.

The Nigerian president has according to fresh reports began plans to make a return to the United Kingdom on health grounds.
This comes weeks after the president returned from his earlier extended medical vacation to the United Kingdom which lasted a total of 51 days.
Buhari who had upon his return from the medical trip noted that he will return to the United Kingdom for further checks was reported by Sahara Reporters to have purchased air tickets for a 6-man advance party in preparation for his travel.
The alleged move by the president comes after the presidency debunked rumors that it was bringing its team of medical experts from the UK to Nigeria for the president’s treatment. http://www.herald.ng/buhari-begins-uk-return-plans-report/
