If IRCC don't respond this week, I feel a lot of applicants will definetely withdraw or defer their admission.

just take it to the bank they will attach it with a form A and process it. you'll get an update within 2 days max. i used it for my tuition deposit.
they asked for my Intl passport, degree certifictate and admission letter.

Western union requires me to take the payment printout to the bank to process the payment

Omo ehn, with this news, i dont know what to think again, maybe they have issued out AIP to those they want to give. It is painful to have been waiting all these while and they have already made a decision on your application. I guess for the rest of us still waiting, we just have to keep praying and hoping.

Pee2Jay9:
Wow.! So if u didn't request for the notes, you wouldn't have known all these? I'm guessing that they're post poning refusals for a set future date.. Pls what was showing on your application before you ordered for the GCMS notes? Was background and eligibility still running at the time?

TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Sanovsky007(m): 11:54am On Aug 08, 2020
have you been granted AIP

dicedapples:
Hi guys, please does anyone know what this means, my application status has been on awaiting your action for the past month, but this morning my status changed to submitted , although eligibility and background is still under review and I haven’t gotten any message or mail.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Sanovsky007(m): 11:31am On Aug 08, 2020
i think profile updated means you have a new message, once you click the message it will return to action reqiured because of pending biometrics

Minah2020:
Oh actually I applied for July 31st. Since then it's always show "your action is required" and untill last night my current status changed to "application/profile updated".
But then you said yours was submitted, I just wonder what the difference is tho... Let's see how it goes Sha

TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Sanovsky007(m): 8:07pm On Aug 04, 2020
I asked this question when i began my own process but in the end, i applied myself, i read through the thread, i searched for information i wanted using key words and i am glad i did not use any agent. i would suggest you take your time and read through especially the last 5 pages here as it has links to all the steps and process you need to complete your application.

besides if you still choose to use an agent, they will still ask ask for same documents you will need to provide. sotake your time and go through the thread you will find answers to what you are looking for.

Because my background check and eligibility check are still under review.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Sanovsky007(m): 8:00am On Jul 20, 2020
please verify if your school requires WES evaluation(canada). I never did any evaluation, just submitted my transcript like that and i was given admision.

Insanity:
Is the WES course by course ICAP evaluation a requirement by your university of interest? If no, then you submitting it won't matter in your application. Admission requirements for US and Canadian schools are very different, I applied to University of Regina with my WES 3.4/4.0 GPA and was rejected, mind you WES was and still is among their requirements.
If the school you want is requesting for a WES evaluated Transcript and your WES Transcript is within their cutoff, mostly 3.0/4.0, go ahead and apply. But if they are not, and you apply with the WES Transcript hoping to get an advantage, you just wasted your money.

This is based on my personal experience and I might be wrong.

Goodluck.

It means nothing, u are on point

U get such letter 24 hrs after submitting ur Study Permit Application but their NIGERIAN offices in Lagos (Lekki) and Abuja is yet to open due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, so Booking an Appointment ain't possible for now , hopefully its gonna open soon since other VFS offices in some countries are beginning to open

Its that Biometric Instruction Letter (Printed) u will take to the VFS Office together with ur International Passport

That's why Lot's of Applicants in the forum are anticipating for the opening of VFS (VAC) Offices in Lagos & Abuja(NIGERIA)

Do read the LETTER from Beginning to the End, u will find some important & vital info there

- BIOMETRICS comes before MEDICALS

@Obanidavid

Please any update on your biometrics?

Obanidavid:
@MyRace

Sincerely, you have expressed my thoughts. I wish to share my testimony likewise that I submitted my application June 4th, received request for biometrics on a Saturday about two days after submission and later got a request for medicals on July 1st while still awaiting the VFS in Nigeria to give my biometrics.

Let us know that no two applications are the same just as our faces differ. The commonest thing I observed here is many people often kill themselves in fear of nothing that exist. I belong to the Winners family and certainly, I believed my application will be different and I will return again to share my final testimony.

Personally, I thank God for the journey so far and appreciate every contributors on this forum. I have learned so much and am indeed grateful. I will return soon before the end of the month to inform the house of my successful Visa application.

IT IS MY YEAR OF BREAKING LIMITS

Hello guys, so I submitted my study permit application yesterday June 6th, I got a letter today asking me to go to a VAC for my biometrics

what does this mean? and I also thought medicals come first before biometrics?
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Sanovsky007(m): 4:41pm On Jul 06, 2020
sorry, I didn't read through properly, I thought you referred to payment for your study permit application,

if it's your tuition deposit you wish to pay, visit your bank and ask for a form A, they would guide you through the process, go with your Intl Passport, admission letter, Degree certificate, and the Payment invoice generated for the transaction

NairaLuck:
Wow, I'd visit my bank tomorrow morning then.

Thanks alot
