I just enquired about the school fees minutes ago.I learnt it's about 70,000 plus.You,however,need to pay 19,850 for accomodation fees after you have secured admission.

SSLT can never pay 59,500!They do pay more than that.It is only students who entered through Post utme and are offering B.sc,B.eng, that pay the above amount.The school fees should be between the range of 60,000 to 80,000.I,however,would make some confirmations and get back to you.You are gonna write English,Maths,Chemistry,Physics and Biology in the exam.By the way,have you bought the form?If yes,which course did you choose?

The course is for five years after which you would be awarded a bachelor of technology(b.tech) certificate,if you are successful.

The general cut off for post utme is 180.The admission is based on general performance by candidates in your department.Since you chose uniport as your second choice with that kind of meagre scores,you got to be very prayerful.Your admission is not gonna be easy.Watch out,however,for the supplementary list.

Why did you choose Uniport as your second choice?Just be prayerful.You may just be admitted into any of the sciences.Uniport gives special consideration for candidates who chose them as first choice in their merit list;second choice candidates who have good scores will only be given consideration in the supplementary list.So,watch out,bro.

You didn't get me right,bro.I said the average number of students granted admission in faculty of engineering is 50.They are 35 Jambites and 15 basic students.The number of jambites may even be less than that.

The performance by engineering candidates in the Post utme was also very low,unlike last year when they produced some astronomical scores.So,you have got a chance,bro.Pray your name comes out in the first list because faculty of engineering,unlike before,don't admit huge number of candidates again.It's a survival of the fittest.It's now a maximum of 50 students per department,including about 15 top performers in the basic(predegree)programme i.e 35 jamb candidates and 15 basic candidates.I guess that's the admission quota given to them by the Nigeria Universities commission.

Uniport don't offer diploma programme.The programmes available apart from entrance through Utme are Basic,Certificate(Both are predegree programmes for students in the faculty of engineering,science,agriculture,humanities and education);Post Hnd(Conversion of Hnd in engineering to B.eng);Sslt(B.tech in science laboratory technology);Post graduate and part time programme.

I don't have idea about the school fees.Though,it shouldn't be beyond the range of #80,000 to #100,00.It is a degree programme meant for students in the faculty of science.Though,they will be awarded a bachelor of technology(b.tech) instead of the regular bachelor of science(b.sc).The name of the faculty is the school of science laboratory technology(SSLT),hence,the award of the degree,B.tech.
