Education / Re: Covenant University Student Expelled For Drug Use Disrupt Chapel Service by Sard(m): 7:18pm On Mar 20, 2019 |
uyisteven:It is not as simple as simply using the case of a few people you know to predict what will happen to the boy. The reason behind the expulsion can be a better pointer to further outcome. Someone who was expelled or suspended for assisting someone in an exam would probably turn a better person (who'll be more serious with life) after the expulsion than a person expelled because of drug abuse. I saw the video of this boy on Instagram. He was jumping on stage, shouting and doing all sorts that no sane person would one to do whether protesting or not. It will be hard (Not impossible) for him to act better in any clime - Nigeria or developed nations. 4 Likes |
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: The 4 Common Types Of Graduates In Nigeria - Which One Are You? by Sard(m): 10:15am On Mar 16, 2019 |
Sometimes, things are just beyond our power. I was a "God will do it" graduate, but while coming to the end of NYSC, I stumbled on something that turned me to "Talk & do" graduate. That has changed my life forever. |

More like you were imprisoned for peddling rumors. If you were truly as investigative as you have always made yourself to look like, you should have taken your time to verify the authenticity of the news. With the unfounded story, you would have spoiled the ministry of Ibiyeomie if he didn't act on time. Alaye, no be you go first stay for prison; stop telling us story and move on. 9 Likes 2 Shares |

Britishcoins:Getting an affordable house can't be a problem in Ibadan. But shop is what I'm skeptical about because you must be in a busy area where people can see you and buy from you with ease, and those areas are always costly. If where you stay at the moment is not too far from Ibadan, I'll suggest you come, stay in the city and make enquiries about things for yourself. Best of luck. |

Naijaguy123:Baba, where you see two-bedroom flat in Ibadan for 70k? I am sure that cannot be in the developed part of the city. Even a room self-con cannot go for that amount in many locations within the city. I think he should be prepared to pay about 150k or more for house rent if he needs flat in a good place where he can survive well as a new comer. As for shops, he should have about 120k or more (per year) in mind because an electronic shop must be located around the developed part of the city if he wants to make any sales. @britishcoins. you can gain a few things from my post 1 Like |

All these APC agents complaining You should stop crying. We consider it to be free and fair because election violence was not recorded during the voting process. Votes have been counted before the violence started, so the votes were not directly tampered with. 6 Likes |

bionixs:Lol.. where in my post did I say anything about knowing the killer? I just agreed with the person that I quoted that Karma only caught up on him. It is no news that the guy was not a saint while alive. He perpetrated evils in Ogun before coming back to Oyo, so dying was perhaps the smallest of the things that could have happened to him. 4 Likes 1 Share |

SEYIKP: You are on point. I was just looking at all those posts talking about APC winning in Ibadan. They will need massive rigging in Oke Ogun and co to even stand any chance. We have a new governor already, and his name is not Adelabu. 6 Likes |

LiveByNight: Is it a big deal for a company that makes so much money from Nigeria to give back to the community in one way or the other? Honestly, I think you're the confused one here. If you have a personal vendetta with the brand, complain about it on the right thread. But you don't have to spread the hatred to the good thing they did here. 1 Like 1 Share |

gabriel212:This is the worst I've read in a long while. Ibadan people will vote Adelabu because of his grandpa? That'll only happen in your wildest dream. I'm not saying he can't win, but it'll be totally unrelated to his grandpa. I'm sure you're not in any way close to Ibadan because if you are, you'll know people hardly care about who his grandpa was again. People simply want someone who can perform better without excess influence of godfathers. |

Mace0lane:There's no point arguing with you. At least, your statement indicates that you also know that APC is not in any way better than PDP; so we'll send them out of the Government House in Oyo State. They can go & die; no one cares. |
Politics / Re: Oyo Opposition Parties Adopt Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe PDP Governorship Candidate by Sard(m): 8:53pm On Mar 03, 2019 |
Mace0lane:Have you really taken your time to hear what people are saying on the streets of Ibadan and other towns in Oyo State? I doubt it. Keep deceiving yourself. Except your APC stalwarts will rig it like you used to do, there's no way Seyi Makinde won't beat PenkeleNonsense black and blue next Saturday. 2 Likes |

asiwajumi: That's just it. Without vote buying or rigging, there is no contest in Oyo State. In fact, Penkelemessi stands no chance against Seyi. But I'm quite skeptical because of what Tinubu and Ajimobi can do. Those folks are desperate to retain their hold on the state. I fear for what may happen on the 9th of March. 6 Likes |
