Nairaland is losing it.
If a whole front-page article isn't verified, you wonder if you can ever trust anything you see on this forum again.

Family / Re: “domestic Violence Can’t Be Cured” – Woman As She Walks Out Of Her Marriage by Sard(m): 6:59am On Feb 13, 2018
sgtponzihater1:
Women come to the Internet to rant and get all the sympathy from poorly baked individual. Marriage is not a game of tennis, ping pong or ludo it's a serious Business. What we have these day are people preparing more for wedding than leaving together. Before she post these rubbish, she should definitely find out; Is she marriageable?, how about her attitude?, does she have regard?, did she take time to study the guy, date and know if they are compatible, or did she spend more time checking out modern wedding fashion on Bella Naija?. 85% of our ladies and sadly also men are not marriageable, but they come online to rant all the rubbish they can gather, and get warped minded sympathisers to cheer on their bad behaviour. Peace!

Why are some of you guys always quick to put the blame on the woman when a marriage fails?
I don't support anybody coming to the internet to rant, but like she said domestic violence can't be cured and in many cases, the man takes a larger percentage of the blame.
I've done a study on intimate partner violence and I can tell you that men are usually the culprits. How do you justify a man pushing her wife down the stairs? Destroying her phones? Bringing a commercial sex worker to the matrimonial home?
Baba, things dey happen o. It's better to leave a marriage, rant on social media to let go of her pain and emotion than be killed by her supposedly loving husband.

But I agree with you that many men and women are not marriageable. Although studying during courtship can be helpful, some people change after marriage while there are some who would pretend during courtship. Others will overlook their partner's flaws, thinking they would change.
Like my Yoruba will say "oja okunkun ni igbeyawo" I.e marriage is a black market. Only a few get the goods they desire.

grin grin grin
the last part of your post got me laughing really hard.

But the fear of approaching a lady doesn't primarily have to do with introversion. It's more of shyness, fear of rejection and possibly low self-esteem.
I'll suggest that you you approach ladies you ain't interested in (for dating or even friendship). Even if such person rejects you, it won't be so significant on your self-esteem.
Sales girls and others who are obliged to be responsive and courteous are other target persons.
Over all, go out more and have fun, even if you just have to sit down while watching people do their things.
All the best.

He's right about people raising an eyebrow if they were guys though. However, it's fallacious and erroneous to assume they are lesbians from merely looking at this pic.
But guys and girls are different in many ways, and the way we relate with people of the same sex is just one of the differences.
This pecking doesn't mean they won't snatch each other's bf..

This is quite dumb. The poster you quoted was right. Having money does not equate to having peace of mind.
Haven't you heard of millionaires like Jonathan Wraith, Paul Castle, John Lawrenson etc that committed suicide? Would you say someone who committed suicide had peace of mind?
Money is not everything.

It was the guy who asked her if she was staying in London, and the girl immediately denied it by stating she was based in Abuja.

@Op.. any sane guy would be willing to chat with a lady like this because you can deduce from her chat that she's basically reasonable, respectful and willing to chat with him.
I'm certain the slay mamas would have intentionally refused to chat or reply with "k" "yea" "no" and other one-liners.

Religion / Re: 4 Reasons Why Most Men Look Outside The Church For Wife by Sard(m): 5:06pm On Jan 21, 2018
ImaIma1:
There is really nothing like outside or inside the church because the people that go to church don't live there.
They are actually the people you meet on the road, office, neighbourhood, etc.
Finally, I found someone who spoke my mind on this thread.

Almost all Nigerian ladies/girls we see, interact with and date in the club, class, office, neighborhood etc belong to one religious group or another, so the term church girl is quite useless in this context.
Religion / Re: Is Sex With Sex Doll A Sin? by Sard(m): 6:43am On Jan 21, 2018
If you're a Christian, Read 2 Timothy 3:1-3.
It condemns people without natural affection, and having sex with dolls is definitely not a natural way of expressing affection.

On a lighter note,
are all these guys writing #Istandwithsexdoll really ready to be sleeping with sex dolls instead of humans?

I will never put my preeek inside that "robot".

If he couldn't control his younger bro who mismanaged his investment then, he should be bold enough to deal with the wrath of AMCON now.

Well, the abandoned cars (especially those that are well maintained and neat) in the pictures are currently vintages too. So his point still stands.
Simply put, in 50 years, S-class will be considered to be what these cars are currently considered to be.

I can do the first 3.. For someone I truly love and care about.. The number 4 taya me o.. I have always been scared of that stuff.. It is like like a sacred ritual for women and men have no business in it.

Exactly, the first three are normal things any sane man can do. Number 4 seems irrelevant.
Pic 1.. cancer is no joke. Any loving man will fully support his woman and help her in any capacity to win the battle.
Pic 2.. We both gave birth to the baby, so what's the big deal in catering for him/her together?
Pic 3.. As long as I'm responsible for the pregnancy, I've a duty to support and console her if the pregnancy is lost.
Pic 4.. I see no justification for this. Why would I even want to help a menstruating woman change her pad when she's not sick or diseased? Most ladies will even be against such unnecessary display of love.

Nigeria?? How did Nigeria come into the picture, ma'am? While I understand it can happen in Nigeria, this particular incidence occurred in Zimbabwe.

@Op.. the man must be sick too. He was even smiling while the pictures were being taken. The onlookers didn't do well too. They should have at least exempted the mentally unstable lady from the show of shame.

If what he wrote is true, he should carefully examine his life because for all these to have happened to an individual within a year means he lived a reckless life during his service year.

Or better still, like some Nairalanders would say, he was regularly followed by his village people.

See how he became well tanned? That's going from being Caucasian, in 2004 to nearly black this present time. I know a few of our people who are black, don't appreciate it, and would want to bleach their soul out and become Caucasian

Very tiring and black mentality we blacks are wired. tch undecided

Can't you spot the hypocrisy in your comment?
From your comment, you clearly don't see anything bad in white turning black or tanned. You're using a whiteman who tanned to question the mentality of the black who bleach/bleached.
Apart from some health implications of bleaching (which you clearly didn't mention), there's no difference between what CR7 (and other tanned white Caucasians) did and what any black who bleached did.

NB: I hate bleaching, but you don't have to relate everything to black mentality. Some people ain't just comfortable in their skin. It's a human thing, not just black mentality.
It may be linked to inferiority complex, but it's not only blacks that have inferiority complex.
