berbs:Yes o |
Qudus08:No, Akala didn't insult people like Ajimobi did. He did it incessantly. As for the Lautech issue, he was right about the IGR, but there are ways you present things to people to make them accept it. He was recorded saying "education is not for children of the poor". You can't say such and still expect sane people to support you. |
berbs:I hope this is true. We just want him out. |
Qudus08:So because he restored peace means he should insult everybody and also do virtually nothing in his second term? He insulted people, telling them how hungry they were. Also, he insinuated that education should only be for the rich when asked about the increased tuition fees of LAUTECH. Bro, his cup is full and he's getting served. I just hope he doesn't find a way to rig it. I'm even surprised he got as much votes as we've seen already. Hopefully, Adelabu will also meet the same fate during the gubernatorial election. |
MrPolitics:Stop saying thrash. Ibadan Municipality has 5 LGAs, but Ibadan city itself has 11 different LGAs. Oluyole LGA is in Ibadan; its HQ is at Idi-ayunre (I got my PVC there in 2017). It covers areas such Odo ona elewe, Orita, Muslim, Olomi, Academy, etc. It is a fairly large LGA. |
Long, irrelevant story.
INEC should announce the only candidate who has united the whole Nigeria.
Never again shall we allow the demented Bubu rule us!
We're OBIdiently ATIKUlated. |
Robbin7:I've always liked this line of thought too. A year of knowing each other more and sharing nice times together can be great for newly wedded. There is always a difference between courtship and marriage. That's people who have dated for many years will get married and notice some things they didn't notice during courtship. But you know how Nigerians are - we have a herd mentality of doing everything in a conventional way whether it is reasonable or not. |
Although this may be a false claim by the PDP, I won't disagree with it. My experience with APC's rally in Ibadan shows they can do anything. I was told by more than 5 NPower beneficiaries that they were deceived to come on the pretense of meeting the National DG of the program and signing an important document. On getting there, they were given APC T-shirts and told to start the political rally. Nothing is beyond APC. |
ninety5:Hi, That's a good idea. However, you need to be careful when creating the new account and/or rating your account. Any mistake can make you lose your accounts. |
AUTOCHECKN:I just used Autocheckn's services for Fiverr/PayPal withdrawal, and it was smooth and fast. Thanks. |
ninety5:Hi. Sorry for replying late. I've gone through your profile, and you've done a relatively good job. However, take your time to proofread the profile and gig descriptions and improve them, especially the use of punctuation marks. Also, I don't think you optimized your descriptions with keywords. Check out the top-rated sellers in your sub-niche and incorporate the keywords they have in their descriptions. As for the Buyers' Request, I don't know much about it because I've not used it since 2017 or so. So I've little or no contribution to make concerning it. One of your gig is for app creation while others are for writing or so. This makes you look like Jack of all trades, and I'm sure you know what they say about "Jack". Pick one skill, hone it and deliver high-quality services to your clients. All the best, bro. |
If you've parents who are responsible and/or financially okay (not necessarily rich), being a first born is not a big deal. Everybody will be okay on their own without putting any burden on the first born. A typical example is my family. |
pcguru1:I understand that part. Regrets are inevitable when you go through life thinking you can do everything on your own. At least, we should all be grateful for the changes we've made and the little we've achieved over the years. |
pcguru1:This message is so much on point. You just highlighted some of the changes I have made to my life in the last 2/3 years. Only some students, who have not experienced what's obtainable outside the four walls of schools, will say things like they don't need others to survive. Everyone thrives better when you've people around you. I'm an introvert too, but I go out when necessary nowadays. I meet people from all spheres of life. Being an introvert is not an excuse to become a hermit. Socialize, greet people, call to say "hello" when necessary, show people that you care and be open-minded about meeting new people. It may take a while, but you'll soon get used to it. It's not about becoming an extrovert, it's about adapting to improve your life. After all, adaptability is one of the characteristics of living beings. As long as you give yourself enough time to recharge your energy (i.e enjoy your solitude regularly), you'll still be fine. |
Kay512:I have been using the account before verification started. However, I verified with a Nigerian phone number and the account was later deported. |
lol.. Look at people justifying fraudsters and you wonder why this country is like this. God, give me the chance to leave this country for good. Based on the way most Nigerians reason, this country can only become worse. |
yrex01:Read well before commenting next time, so that you won't look like an unrepentant critic who only wants to attack religion. He didn't donate money to the church, he donated money to a university owned by the church. So job opportunities will be definitely be created once the university commences work. |
Kay512:It came organically, but it was followed by a drought that made me buy reviews to convince buyers of my writing skills. |
We like celebrating rubbbish in this country. So somebody invited these boys to a show in Nigeria as special guests and some people paid to watch them. Damn! |
funlord:Jeez!! I paid for it even before you mentioned me. I'll call him out if it doesn't work again. So many scammers parading themselves on this forum. |
In like 3 years or so, she has only dated 2 guys or so. The question is "which average Nigerian girl has not dated as much as 2 guys in the same timeframe?". Forget her fame or dad's wealth, she's just your regular Nigerian girl that any guy with good game can date. |
Anyone with Grammarly Premium account??
I'm ready to pay a token. |
young men are beginning to pay so much attention to petty and frivolous things. Now you see them using light makeup, going nude, and putting so much thoughts into their looks while neglecting the need to improve intellectually. It's really a sad reality. |
snowblaq:Gift can be used as both "noun and verb". Perhaps y'all should check your dictionary before correcting others here. Anyway, we learn every day.

The problem with threads like this is that people will turn it to a suitable place for babbling about becoming an entrepreneur We all can't become entrepreneurs. Some people have to get paid while working with others to improve the existing businesses. Most people calling themselves "entrepreneurs" in Nigeria are just mushroom traders or resellers or service providers. It's just the conditions of this goddamn country that is forcing lots of people into businesses, not because they're passionate about it. |
My problem with my smartphone is the internet. I work and literally live on the internet, so I can hardly stay off my smartphone more than 2 hours during the day as long as I'm not sleeping. |
chinochizzy:Exactly. I was just wondering how ignorant people can be when I saw those posts. Apart from Netherlands and like 4 other countries, average age in most countries around the world is 5ft9inc or below. How would anyone say 5ft11inc is nearly short? Quite appalling. |
Preator:Oh! that's title. I borrowed it from someone about 12/13 years ago. I will check if the person still has it. BTW, publishers should make those Yoruba classics to be available like their English counterparts. |
I can only remember a few I read in school or on my own. Koku Baboni Without a silver spoon Sugar Girl The gods are not to blame Animal farm Macbeth Merchant of Venice Tempest Akin goes to school Eze goes to school Robinson Crusoe The slave boy Oliver Twist Ogboju ode ninu igbo irunmole Aditu eledumare Orogodoganyin (not sure if this is the title) Alejo Oran I used to read for leisure in those days. |
Oh! I sent him message on WhatsApp since Wednesday and he's yet to reply. I was even wondering why he would ignore my messages. I hope he's okay. |
incredibledan:I was about asking this question too. I sent him a message days ago and yet to get a response. Quite unlike him. I don't know if there's any trusted Fiverr exchanger with good rate here. |
Sterope:I was about asking that question. Most of these people give so much relevance to Yoruba-Igbo fight on social media, but that's not the reality offline. An average Yoruba person doesn't care about what Igbos do. |
