Anelka is not a wing forward by any means. A wing forward is Nani and Valencia when United play 4-3-3.
Players who hug the wing and influence games by dropping crosses into opponents' danger area.

Football is not such a difficult game to understand but with a looney whose head is filled with pap rather than brain fluids, it becomes ambiguous.

To be completely fair, Chelsea did go ALL OUT to score more than a goal @ SB.

United got away with it TWICE in 2007/8 and Chelsea almost got away with it last season but for Ovrebo.

With the way your CBs bomb forward like retards trying to compete for the European golden shoe, it leaves a massive gap at the back for geniuses like Messi, Ibra and Henry to exploit.

If we thought we had defensive problems, they likely have worse - Pique is not quite fit, Abidal is just recovering as well. As long as we can stifle the initial wave after wave of attacks, we can punish their shaky backline.

Pique, Xavi and Toure have been declared FIT this morning and the match is on Wednesday evening.

Frank Lampard is a true world class midfielder. . . . .
His record in the previous seasons suggest so and even at 32, his fitness is exceptional.

SAF( a good reader of fine players) had this to say about him. . .

"Frank Lampard is an exceptional player - a huge asset to Chelsea.
You pay attention to players who can get goals from midfield and he's been averaging 20 a season.
You don't see him getting into silly tackles or making a habit of becoming involved in silly rows.
When he was sent off against Liverpool two or three months back he walked from the pitch straight away, without fuss.
He stayed restrained in the middle of all that bother after Chelsea were knocked out of the Champions League by Barcelona and made a point of swapping shirts with Iniesta - as I say Lampard is exceptional."

When a manager of a rival club says this about a player, then it's fair to conclude Lampard is one of the best midfielders in Europe.
He is sheer quality and he doesn't miss many games.

Nasri did the right thing but applied the wrong weight of the pass.
He couldn't have scored from his position, the angle was against him so he tried to square the ball to Arshavin and the pass was under-hit.

That said, in the scheme of things, drawing to B'ham is not the worst thing ever - I just hope we don't drop any more such points.

Even SAF is not writing off Arsenal yet.
There are still 18 points to fight for. 4 points off the top at this stage is not catastrophic yet. grin

It's gotten eminently more difficult, but taking things into perspective, we haven't had a bad run of 6 wins and 1 draw. Is it good enough to win the championship? We'll know soon enough.

If it was a straight up race between Ancelloti's Chelsea and Arsenal then y'all might have a chance.
With SAF's experience and the belief in the Man Utd squad, Arsenal's chances are negligible.

United have been in this spot several times, navigating to the title will be a stroll in the park.
Whats more? They have got their BIG players getting back in the squad. Vidic/Rio/VDS axis is the strongest amongst the 3 clubs in the title race.
Add all that to Rooney's fire-power, Berbatov's exquisite touch and the effervescent Nani then you have an uphill task. grin
