sorry, come back and edit this post after the 2 legged affair with us
u will be spelt
Bayern Munich are no longer considered an European giant.
The current squad are just living off the hype of the Effenbergs, Scholls, Sagnols, Kuffours and Kahns.

11 Robben cannot do anythn at OT
Did you say Ribery? What has he done this season?
Remove Robben frm that team and they are Fulham in disguise
Robben's preferred position means he will be ineffective in both legs.
Whoever plays against Evra should forget even making any difference during the game and i trust Rafael to maul Ribery.
With Valencia doubling up to help Rafael and with hard working Nani doing the same in the opposite end, Bayern are finished.

Do not travel and ill remind u of the aggregate after d 2 legs
Bayern ko, Leverkusen ni
The aggregate should be 5-1 after both legs.

Anelka's position is that of a WingForward. I'd like to see Berbasulk play that position
You are a consummate pillock.
Chelsea play 4-1-2-1-2(Diamond Formation)OR 4-3-2-1(Christmas Tree formation) and that means Anelka and Malouda become 2 supporting strikers to Didier Drogba(centre forward).
Anelka is not a wing forward by any means.  A wing forward is Nani and Valencia when United play 4-3-3.
Players who hug the wing and influence games by dropping crosses into opponents' danger area.

Football is not such a difficult game to understand but with a looney whose head is filled with pap rather than brain fluids, it becomes ambiguous.

Sharon, speaking of catenaccio huh (Nateevs i always knew you would come in handy) didn't Chelscum try that tactic huh Iniesta (and the ref) fc&ked them up!!
To be completely fair, Chelsea did go ALL OUT to score more than a goal @ SB.
They coulda sat back after Essien's goal and absorbed Barca's pressure for the rest of the game like United did in 2007/8.

Yes by Lehman saving a pen cheesy
The pen woulda just taken the match into extra-time. . . . .it wouldn't have eliminated Arsenal.
Besides, the pen decision was as dodgy as Nigeria's presidential election in 2007.

Spanish teams don't know how to break teams playing catenaccio.
They can only hurt when teams set out to play them. A 3-2 advantage for Arsenal in the first leg will certainly take them through to the next round.

If Barca score 2 away goals at the Emirates, i fancy Almumu to score a hat trick of own goals at the Nou Camp!!

Barca won't care if they lost. They have this belief that they are indestructible at Camp Nou!!
If you manage to beat Barcelona 3-2 at the Emirates, Wenger will deploy catenaccio at Camp Nou and Barcelona have problems dealing with such.
United got away with it TWICE in 2007/8 and Chelsea almost got away with it last season but for Ovrebo.

Remember how Wenger got Villareal eliminated in the Semis in 2005/6? grin grin grin

We don't rate the FA cup.
Once you see Welbeck, Obertan, Gibson, Fabio and KitKat starting a match, the credibility of that match is seriously under question.
Didn't United walk out of the competition in 2000? FA cup? It's meant for pretenders like Chelsea and Arsenal.
Teams who cannot win the league or UEFA Champions League even if their gaffers' lives depend on it.

duduspace:
Definitely, still had better possesion and created chances albeit not put in. They probably deserved to win the one at the emirates but the one at stamford bridge definitely not. We basically shot ourselves in the foot.

Enough of the taunting. . . .though I suspect Eboue will shoot himself into the Arsenal hall of fame by scoring a magnificent solo goal against Barca.
They are dodgy at the back but then that weakness could be their strength.
With the way your CBs bomb forward like retards trying to compete for the European golden shoe, it leaves a massive gap at the back for geniuses like Messi, Ibra and Henry to exploit.

If we thought we had defensive problems, they likely have worse - Pique is not quite fit, Abidal is just recovering as well. As long as we can stifle the initial wave after wave of attacks, we can punish their shaky backline.
Pique, Xavi and Toure have been declared FIT this morning and the match is on Wednesday evening.
Extra 48 hours to get em into shape - I worry for Arsene Wenger. It will be a disgrace if Barca come to England and beat Arsenal @ the Emirates.

Arsenal must beat Barcelona. . . . .I fully expect Silvestre to shackle Messi.
Who the heck is Messi when you have a RED DEVIL Silvestre snapping at Messi's heels.

Then you have Eboue, Nasri(little Zidane), Bendtner(Van Basten MK II) and Arshavin(The Russian Maradona).
Letz face it. . . . .Arsenal have the ammo to hurt Barca and Diaby will batter Yaya Toure and Busquets.
Barcelona will be pulverised after 2 legs. Put your money where your nostrils are. grin

Rubbish I say - if not for woeful finishing by Arshavin and poor decision making by Nasri at the death, we'd have won this game with no issues whatsoever.

The truth is Birmingham deserved a point for their efforts.

Also his Post Humus collaboration with Tupac was blazing. It is hard to say was was better on that particular track.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Frank Lampard!: Midfield Goal Scoring Machine, Is He World Class? by Sauron1: 9:26pm On Mar 28, 2010
Frank Lampard is a true world class midfielder. . . . .
His record in the previous seasons suggest so and even at 32, his fitness is exceptional.

SAF( a good reader of fine players) had this to say about him. . .

"Frank Lampard is an exceptional player - a huge asset to Chelsea.
You pay attention to players who can get goals from midfield and he's been averaging 20 a season.
You don't see him getting into silly tackles or making a habit of becoming involved in silly rows.
When he was sent off against Liverpool two or three months back he walked from the pitch straight away, without fuss.
He stayed restrained in the middle of all that bother after Chelsea were knocked out of the Champions League by Barcelona and made a point of swapping shirts with Iniesta - as I say Lampard is exceptional."

When a manager of a rival club says this about a player, then it's fair to conclude Lampard is one of the best midfielders in Europe.
He is sheer quality and he doesn't miss many games.

I still play his album 'Capital Punishmnet' on a regular basis.

He has been overlooked in hip hop history cos he aint black. . . .

Twinz - Feat Fat Joe

This song still gets me pumped up
Any rap fan without Capital Punishment is a plonker. grin grin grin grin
All the 3 BIGs were Rap Legends.(Big L, Biggie, Big Pun).

Jeeez, the album is mad, dope, crazy, brilliant and exquisite.
Deep Cover remix was mad but it wasn't ma favourite cos Dre/Snoop did it better in 1992.
Ma best track on that album is 'Glamour Life'
Pun just murdered everyone on that track spitting hard from his core to the crust.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pNKpkTmFMDc&hl=en_GB&fs=1&"[/flash]

The glamour life, play precise, defense is tight
I'm out to settle the score, let's do it right
Enough for looking at grave, It's paying back tonight
Yo Twin pass the lah, pass the light

The glamour life, this life I live is trife as shyte
Least my wife and kid got somewhere nice to live
I used to live in the gutter, me and my mother
Now she's fifty years old, pushing a hummer

The glamour life, hand me a knife I'll slice and dice
Mini-mize, send them to Christ in the after life
Pass the mic down the line, let them hear it
Let them fear it, send it screaming to the Holy Spirit.

Painful to say the least. . . .especially with virtually the last kick of the game. . . .reminds me a goal we conceded against Spurs a few years back.
I personally wouldn't blame Almunia too much - it looked like he was coming out to claim the ball till Sagna kicked it against Phillips and the ball came across to him unexpectedly.
Almunia shoulda saved that.
He should carry 100% of the blame. . . . .The shot shoulda been parried sideways not upwards.

In my opinion, if Arshavin took his shooting boots in and if Nasri was a bit more direct a few seconds before the goal we conceded. . . .ifs I hear you say. sad
Arshavin's chance wasn't that easy. The ball bobbled just before he attempted to kick. . . .
Similar to Torres' fluffing his lines TWICE against United last weekend. The pitch @ St. Andrews is a disgrace.

Nasri did the right thing but applied the wrong weight of the pass.
He couldn't have scored from his position, the angle was against him so he tried to square the ball to Arshavin and the pass was under-hit.

That said, in the scheme of things, drawing to B'ham is not the worst thing ever - I just hope we don't drop any more such points.
Even SAF is not writing off Arsenal yet.
There are still 18 points to fight for. 4 points off the top at this stage is not catastrophic yet. grin

It's gotten eminently more difficult, but taking things into perspective, we haven't had a bad run of 6 wins and 1 draw. Is it good enough to win the championship? We'll know soon enough.
Good enough to win the Championship? I am not sure.
If it was a straight up race between Ancelloti's Chelsea and Arsenal then y'all might have a chance.
With SAF's experience and the belief in the Man Utd squad, Arsenal's chances are negligible.

United have been in this spot several times, navigating to the title will be a stroll in the park.
Whats more? They have got their BIG players getting back in the squad. Vidic/Rio/VDS axis is the strongest amongst the 3 clubs in the title race.
Add all that to Rooney's fire-power, Berbatov's exquisite touch and the effervescent Nani then you have an uphill task. grin

Rubbish - if not for Elmander's poor finishing and VDS' keeping, he'd have made 3 assists at the minimum.
If not, if not. . . . .Abeggi, Wilshere was rubbish.
We had VDS in our team to keep clean sheets.
What were you expecting? A basket like Almunia?
---------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------
Matt Monaghan's Player Rating:

Jack Wilshere - 4 - Resembled a midfield hatchet-man rather than wing wizard.
Outstanding contribution was volume of fouls. Set-piece delivery was either too flat or straight in to Van der Sar's hands.

Darren Fletcher - 8.5 -
Ball of energy alongside his more pedestrian partners.
Covered every blade of grass and his movement was too much for Bolton to handle.
Drove on goal to fire in shot which was parried to Berbatov for the decisive second.
Rested for the last 10 minutes as Gibson was introduced to the fray.

Darron Gibson - 8 - Grabbed a goal with opening touch after hitting a rasping shot in Bolton's net.
Sprayed a beautiful cross-field pass to Valencia.

Wilshere can learn more from Gibson on how to run the midfield.
