BlueDiva:Do i need to pull out anything? U forget there was a period Real Madrid shunned the Galacticos for moderate transfer fees? With expensive flops like Sheva, Ferreira, Veron, Mutu, SWP, Crespo, etc. . . .U don't have a prayer. ![]() CFC has outperformed Madrid in the past 4 seasons. How so? Chelsea won 2 league titles, Madrid won 2 league titles. How did Chelsea outperform Madrid? What other meaningful title did you win between 2003-2009(Roman era). |
BlueDiva:Chelsea have more expensive players than Real Madrid between 2004-2009. |
BlueDiva:Closest rival? United have beaten Chelsea to the title 11 times in 17 seasons in the Premiership era. How can you assemble a squad of almost £700 million since the Roman era and you ninnys cannot win the league title every season? |
BlueDiva:U must have testicles in your brain . . . . . The fact that your club have the world's most expensive flops should not make you hate on Berbatov. He is the first Bulgarian to win the English league and the highest goal scorer of all time for his country. Name someone in the whole Chelsea team in Europe that is the highest goal scorer for his country. . . . Who gives a bleep about Bulgaria.Same as who gives a Bleep about Chelsea. . . . . A team worth £700 million that cannot win a league title in 3 consecutive seasons is a disgrace. ![]() Until you flog Ballack off to Coventry FC, his bad luck will continue to harm Chelsea FC. |
dayokanu:The last time Bayern played a Champions League semi-final, the twin towers were still standing. ![]() Blimey. . . . . .50 cent had $0 in his personal account the last time Bayern played in the final of a UCL. . .now he's worth $600 million. Go figure!!! |
BlueDiva:Why hasn't Drogba won it 6 times with Ivory Coast? Abi Ivory Coast na country to reckon with? Silly Arrow!!! |
Dimitar Berbatov Enters Bulgarian Record Books Manchester United attacker Dimitar Berbatov has been rewarded for his form in 2009 and has been voted Bulgaria's Footballer of the Year for the sixth time in his career.https://www.dirtytackle.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/dimitar-berbatov-driving-tractor.jpg |
sleek417:We will beat Burnley. The lads went to Qatar to clear their heads. One week in the sun is enough to clear their heads. |
sleek417:Play Carrick + Fletcher + Anderson behind Berbatov and he will create and score goals. |

GAYnners and madness co-existing. ![]() Crack on, lads. |
jay bee:Hehehehe. sleek417:5 million from your side alone, shey? How much will the gross expenditure be? I wanna know the amount of money that will cover for all the 3 phases of the wedding cost. |
sleek417:What about travelling costs? Honeymoon and Paris(for costumes) MC(Basket Mouth/Ali-Baba or Osuofia). ![]() Musician(KSA or KWAM-1). Accommodation(your guests/friends/relative). |
stillwater:Depressing!! Sagamite:U don't pay until you see those gutter rats? Na wa o. Naija people are striving to maintain clean and germ-free environment and Sagamite is running away from it. One man's meat is another man's cyanide. |
Sagamite:Lemme bust this myth. There are tenement rates in Naija. . . . .People pay to have their bins disposed, NEPA kick asses even if you pay your bills in time. Vigilantes collect money from housing residents, Street-lights are non-existent. U have to provide your flood-lights to light up your surroundings. The thing is. . . . . .Naija people pay for the things they don't even get to enjoy 24/7 whilst UK residents pay for the things they enjoy. Who is indeed better off? Even if you work in the city, you would be spending close to £1100 a year on lunch and another £1300 on travelcard. I don't think it can cost up to N275K a year for lunch in Naija at the Iya Basira bukas I like to go to to replenish my bacteria levels. Neither do I think it would cost me N325K for my transportation.Replenishing your bacteria levels can send you to the ICU in Naija. Typhoid Fever is alive and kicking. If it's not typhoid, it could be Diarrhoea or what not. What about the scores of mosquitoes that won't let you be. If your genotype is AA. . . .Expect Malaria fever 5 times a year. ![]() £1300 in travelcard per year is not such a bad thing. Bankers in Naija leave their homes as early as 4 am to avoid traffic congestion. ![]() In the UK, no hold-up, no danger of crashing into the Lagoon or getting kicked off your Okada seat by a drunk driver in a Lagos Danfo. Fuel scarcity is not going to hinder you from getting to the City. . . . .No stress levels at all. I think i can live with £1300 per year. That's about £110 per month and less than £4 per day. |
sleek417:So how much you go spend for your wedding? Traditional, Church, Reception and Honeymoon. ![]() |
sleek417:Any penny earned apart from your normal salary is a bonus. In this current climate, majority are having their wages/salaries slashed and you rapacious bankers are sharing massive bonuses. God dey. |
sleek417:Ma company offers support to Deloitte. ![]() u must be kidding; the bonus last year was a fraction of 2008Bonus na bonus. ![]() |
oyb:Meltdown ke? U think everybody is feeling this pinch? Bankers shared bonuses throughout last year. TKB417 got a massive bonus last year(part of it was YOUR money). ![]() |
jay bee:Credit card runs ke? When the groom is an Investment Banker(MIT graduate). . . .Bride is a Lawyer in the City(Yale Graduate). Omo. . . .U need to expand your horizon abeg. |
RuuDie:If SAF thinks like Allboyz, United woulda been demoted to the Conference League. Wenger thinks like Allboyz and you can see why they haven't won rubber since 2005. It's now 2010. ![]() There's a bet on WilliamHill. Fabregas Vs Gerrard. . . . .First to win a league title? ![]() Odds. Cesc(10/1) Gerrard(19/2) None(1/ ![]() |
oyb: debosky:All of una too cheap for ma liking, abeg!!!! |
Sagamite:I disagree. Of course, the take home pay makes it look like the one in Naija is far better off but if you check the quality of life and other indices, it's a facade. £50k in the UK is miles ahead of the £40k dude in Nigeria. I can guarantee you he spends half of the £40k he earns on things the Naija government should be providing in the first place. jay bee:Ignore the take home pay and lets concentrate on what Mr. Naija and Mr. UK spend their money on. I don't have to take ma car to the mechanic every weekend cos of pot-hole problems or ma car overheating blowing a gasket. I don't buy fuel @ Black Market rate to fuel the generator n ma car. What about the intangibles like Noise Pollution, Smog, Security of Lives n Properties. Do you need a Hausa Maiguard in London? People earning N4.5 milla in Naija need them to secure their income, properties and their lives. At the end of it all, Mr. Naija is poorer than the dude in London. but some[one earning close to N300K after tax in naija is a super big boi cos 1 month salary alone can pay for the years rent in some places. What is the standard of these cribs? Borehole? Electricity? Portable Internet? Effective house-phone? Portable Gas? Are you factoring those? Do i have to boil water on the gas-cooker to shower? Mosquitoes? Do i have to worry about those? If u consider the intangibles, i am better off with £18k in the UK than the equivalent in Nigeria. Jaybee, i ask you. . . . .When was the last time you opened the bonnet of your car for any fault in the UK? |
aysometin:Noted!!!! Nice dress from House of Fraser? The last wedding i attended, the couple gave out 19 inch TVs, Microwave Ovens and Portable DVD players to their guests. Christ. . . . .I have been to grand weddings, not guguru n epa nonsense wedding and i am 100% certain that mine won't be any less grand. Meldrick:I disagree. People who spend little amount have the highest divorce rate. Poverty n Happiness cannot co-exist. ![]() |
Sagamite:People making the equivalent of £18k per annum in Nigeria are rich. That's about |
Una still dey here? South Africa will give us another chance to assess Lampard/Gerrard once more. . . .but it's no brainer that Lampard whups Gerrard's behind. Lets freeze this debate until summer. @ Sauron,It was inevitable. U need to see how RAWKITES were cursing Gerrard last night. One fan said. . . Never, have I felt so low as a Liverpool fan as I have tonight. The team were spineless, gutless and showed no measure of character whatsoever and that's what hurts the most. There are so many sub-standard players out there. Insua, Lucas, Ngog and Babel to name but four. But for me, Gerrard is starting to fuckin get on my tits. Bottom lip is firmly out and that's no fuckin way for a captain to behave, let alone the captain of this club. If he expects to play with world class players every week, then fuckoff to Madrid because frankly your petulant arm throwing and dagger-esque looks are doing nobody any favours. Yes we can understand your frustration, but Bleep me, there are plenty of better ways to show it. What another bleeping sh.it week for the soap opera that is Liverpool FC. Shankly must be spinning in his grave at the set of wankers currently inhabiting Anfield. The whole club is a mess from the two cunts at the top, to Rafa's bizzarre and frankly, tiresome, backing of sub-standard players and to those players who clearly have chucked their toys out the pram. Frankly I'm ashamed to be a fan of the club at this present time. Anyone see the lad crying at the end? Perhaps they ought to bleeping show that to this shower just to reinforce how much this club means to people. Sorry for the rant, and post-match is probably not wise to come on here, but my emotion has got the better of me. A very, very, depressed Red! |
