Why?
The animal was seeking refuge in another country while at the same time instigating violence in Nigeria with his lies.

Was he not the one who said the the president was replaced with a clone?

Some educated and enlightened people actually believed that crap!

His current trial is a waste of time and resources which Nigeria does not have.

We all know he is guilty because there are recordings of him urging his minions and acolytes to kill innocent people!

shocked shocked shocked You think any Nigerian bank will offer 9% a month for Fixed Deposit? I doubt it. But if you know any please state it. Thanks.
I did not say 9% per month, I said 9% per annum/year!

To get the monthly interest you divide 9% by 12.

I won't need this money until after a month, so i decided to dump it on FD since i couldn't find any guarantee capital investment with bank only.

I was shocked today when the bank told me that it's N70k Interest on N30million fixed deposit for 1 Month, does it really worth it? shocked . 3%

Although i am yet to accept the offer, thinking of rejecting and refusing to sign the certificate for confirmation. Just too low.

Banks are really su-cking us O sad

First bank, i fear una shocked
What the bank is offering you is too poor for that amount.

The least annual percentage interest you should get for that amount is 9%.

The interest for 1 month will be 30,000,000 x 9% = 2,700,000/12 = 225,000.

Reject the offer by the bank!

Hello, fams, trust y'all doing great? Okay, a quick one...

I was having a chitchat with somebody last weekend and he told me how he invested 70k in bitcoin and made about 6.6 million naira. According to him, he bought the bitcoin in January 2019 and hodl it till January 2022 as he's not good with the everyday trading. So basically, he bought and left it for 3 years before he started selling and he made 6.6 million with that single 70k investment.

I'm a forex trader myself though I didn't reveal that to him. I trade 3 to 4 days a week and I make between 25k to 35k per day depending on how volatile the market is. Convincingly, I can say there's money in forex and also there's so much risk attached to it.

Forex can make you a millionaire and at the same time, can send you back to your village especially if you are greedy. It's fifty-fifty.

I don't have much knowledge on bitcoin so gurus in the house;

1, was the guy lying to have made that amount in 3 years or it's possible?

2, If possible, I plan to invest 200k and give it 5 years.

3, How much do you think a bitcoin of 200k would be worth in 5 years in dollars?

Moderators, please move this to FP.
You're one of the very few people who actually make money from forex trading unlike those lying bastàrds who don't make money from it but instead will be looking for people to train by fire by force grin

A lot of the comments here are from people who don't really know what it entails to run a school. Anyone that knows will agree that somethings are just impossible to achieve if you're in this part of the world,

1. Running a side hustle and using the side hustle to fund a school that cannot sustain itself. No right-thinking entrepreneur will work like that.
2. Running a private school in some areas in Nigeria will cause even the school owner to question the reason for starting in the first place.
3. When you have got habitual debtors for parents, you will regret ever starting a school....

I work with a school owner as an Executive Assistant and I know what happens, even to the details in the account; I'm not talking of schools that pay pittances, the minimum wage where I work for SSCE holder teaching in the Nursery class is about 50k.

So how should the school pay 12/12; it's quite impossible, unless we begin to pay teachers 20k / 30k and make it 12/12. We still strive to pay 10/12 and pay for summer separately.

But sincerely, if you know what running a school really entails, you won't blame some of these school owners.
wink
Don't mind them.

Some of the people making comments here have absolutely no idea what it entails to run a business in Nigeria where clients do not like to pay for services rendered.

People like Aystarz who are still probably junior staff where they work do not know what the managers of the business go through in order to generate profits so as to pay staff salaries

Mumu. Someday someone will enslave you and yours like these poor teachers, and the whole world would laugh at you and tell you to go do yours, as you writhe in pain.
Slow mind!
If you know how difficult it is to run a business profitably here in Nigeria you won't be here yapping rubbish!

It's is written boldly on your forehead that you have never owned a business in your life.

Leave your salary job comfort zone and go and set up a business so you will understand what happens in the real world.

Next time don't confuse yourself with what you don't know:

This is what Binary Options is; if you don't know THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN VOLATILITY INDICES TRADED ON MT5 AND ANY OTHER INDICES TRADED IN BINARY OPTIONS, THEN COURTESY REQUIRES THAT YOU DON'T SHOWCASE YOUR IGNORANCE IN THE OPEN; ASK QUESTIONS:

Binary options "are based on a simple 'yes' or 'no' proposition: Will an underlying asset be above a certain price at a certain time?"Traders place wagers as to whether that will or will not happen. If a customer believes the price of an underlying asset will be above a certain price at a set time, the trader buys the binary option, but if he or she believes it will be below that price, they sell the option. In the U.S. exchanges, the price of a binary is always under $100.

Investopedia described the binary options trading process in the U.S. thus:

[A] binary may be trading at $42.50 (bid) and $44.50 (offer) at 1 p.m. If you buy the binary option right then you will pay $44.50, if you decide to sell right then you'll sell at $42.50.

Let's assume you decide to buy at $44.50. If at 1:30 p.m. the price of gold is above $1,250, your option expires and it becomes worth $100. You make a profit of $100 – $44.50 = $55.50 (less fees). This is called being "in the money".

But if the price of gold is below $1,250 at 1:30 p.m., the option expires at $0. Therefore you lose the $44.50 invested. This is called being "out of the money".

The bid and offer fluctuate until the option expires. You can close your position at any time before expiry to lock in a profit or a reduce a loss (compared to letting it expire out of the money).

WIKIPEDIA AND GOOGLE ARE YOUR FRIEND.
Binary options trading and synthetic indices do not rely on actual market data, they both rely on computer generated random figures which leaves them open to manipulations!

In the end they're both glorified gambling!

Come on, shut the hell up. There are modest schools I know in this same Lagos that pay teachers for the holidays.

The only reason this nonsense is happening is because teachers don't know their worth.
People who have never owned an ordinary POS business will just come here and be talking rubbish.

I challenge you to set up a small day care centre and pay your teachers/minders during holidays when no money is coming in let us see if you will not go back to your village with only Ghana must go bag after just 6 months!

Why is it that most private school don't pay their workers during hoildays. Like once the term ends like this. Salary wnt be paid till when they start work again.

This isn't right now.

Please, what's your view about this policy, guy?
To know the answer to your question I suggest you set up your own school then during holidays when there is no money coming in you go and take money from your personal savings to pay your teachers let us see if that school will survive for up to 2 years!

To understand very well what synthetic indices is all about:

— Synthetic indexes are special kind of indices that takes the form of real world market movement. Unlike currency pairs, synthetic indices do not depend on real world market moves— In a simpler form, these particular structures are not affected by fundamental analytical tools and forms ( that is, News releases about each major and minor currencies performances and other events capable of changing traders sentiment)

— Synthetic indexes are traded 24 hours/day and from Monday to Sunday every other day, unlike currency pairs that are not traded on weekends.

— An average or professional synthetic indices trader rakes in profits every time and every day with no exemption of any day.

— Unlike currency pair trader who relies 85% almost every day, on News releases which invariably invalidates several technical setups, a synthetic indices trader has nothing to do with FULL reliance on either dollar index or any other economy performance determinant of currencies, of significant countries. A synthetic trader enjoys the benefits of a well laid technical analysis.

— Dollar Index is a measure of the U.S dollar value or power compared to its other major trading pairs or partners. This has extended to the overall global financial market. The effect of this measure as released intermittently by the FED (the U.S Federal Reserve), has great impact on global financial markets, with high level of alienation of synthetic indexes.

— Trading synthetic indices is more soothing for most traders.

— Synthetic indices includes Boom and Crash indexes likewise.

— As to how much a trader could amass on daily basis; COME AND LEARN FIRST.

Thanks so much for the information. It's quite helpful.
I will strongly recommend that you go for an already established bank if you want to sleep with both eyes closed knowing that the bank will not suddenly close shop.

Old banks tend to have better regard for corporate governance because their Board composition is balanced so you have people who can challenge the dominance of a single individual; most new banks usually revolve around a single individual therefore they may be using depositors funds to prop up an affiliated company which is making losses

New banks also tend to be in a hurry to grow so they have little regard for strict controls with regard to giving out loans.

Banks I would recommend to you are...
GTBank
Zenith
First Bank
UBA
Fidelity Bank

Yesterday, I decided to visit the popular eagle cement factory. From mile 3 side, boarded iwofe bus and stopped at eagle cement junction. Then I boarded Keke to the site. What I saw was a total disaster

I could still remember far back as 2003 when I was doing business around there. Every was bubbling with life with long trucks lined up at each part of the road waiting to either been called in to load or early morning to take off after loading. A complete trucks carries about 600 bags of cement and they deliver to all parts of the country.

Now, the site lies in ruins. Grasses has taken over the main entrance as you could see from the following pictures. I would have gone in to take more pictures but for the locked entrance. The ever bust road now looks like a desert if not for few people that have settled there. I feel for Nigeria.

This is a factory that used to provide labor to thousands of people. I wonder where they are now. Maybe criminals. I feel heartbroken
Do you even know the meaning of the word "Gory"?
