Google the information. This is not Jeapordy and whether or not he was born out of wedlock at this point it really does not matter not that it ever really did.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Kobojunkie Reasons So Much Like A Fish, Is This True Or False? by savanaha: 12:29am On Nov 26, 2008
True. Not only like a fish but a dead fish. This just made my day.
FashionRe: Wigs, Weaves And Perms Symbolize Self Hate by savanaha: 12:09am On Nov 26, 2008
After saying it to these people over and over they keep destroying themselves with theweave perm crap. And honestly why would someone want to put wig on their hair real or synthetic its disgusting. People that will never hear!! "Who can't hear must feel" as Jamaicans will tell you

And white women don't put weave, wigs on their heads?
Unfortunately we live in a very superficial world, where a lot of times you are judged by your looks.

Has anyone mentioned why coloured (from Chinese to African) people are so heavily into bleaching?
A few posts ago they did. To reinterate, prolly to look white. Killing their skin cells with mercury. Sick

Savanaha dear, you've already shown me that you're a teen a couple of posts ago, I suspected but wasnt sure. You proved it with your little outburst/excuse for making fun of someone else's typo while you're pretty much shooting me with yours. (still getting worse if i might add)

Anyway why would I argue with a kid? I'm not an agbaya so I'll let you continue to rant, I'm sure you'll find someone who cares enough to battle with you over what doesnt concern you in the first place. wink

Invite me to the wedding with fiya sha o. No juju biscuits allowed grin
Thank you for calling me a teen. Rather a teen than making silly comments about tribes and drinking bathwater. Wahtever you want to beleive you are good at diverting the point of the post inorder to keep weaving your hair. The style is cute but the weave gotta go.

You know if you werent so angry your "typos" wouldnt be getting even worse wink
Africans can never be satisfied I said you win and you are right I offered you a biscuit and still you won't let neither it nor your perm/weave/wig go and become natural.

Aw looks like I hit a nerve.  cheesy

I'll pass on the offer. Thanks  grin

you and faya should become a family, have babies that also run away from deodorant.  tongue
Actually when you peak in old age you will realize the wisdom you just banished as senseless. By then you might be hairless because of perms and chemical damage side effect or your hairline might begin at the back of your neck because you pull so tight with those weaves .
FashionRe: Wigs, Weaves And Perms Symbolize Self Hate by savanaha: 5:06am On Nov 25, 2008
But if you eat my juju biscuit you might love your hair and body enough to let it grow naturally.

heheh afi college na. berra calm down. I would have left it alone jeje, if you didnt bring up milky's "pedastool".

I no want your juju nubian biscuit, e jo grin
Get over it!!!!!
I WAS WRONG I WROTE HAIR INSTEAD OF HAIR AHAHAHAHA. O.k now that we have established I was mispelling wrong  for the second but probably not the last time i want you to realize that the "pedastool" thing was and is as funny as the "hair" thing except I think the original person that said "pedastool" still uses it like that which is even funnier. Either they can take a joke or just don't give a damn in anyways that does not change the fact that wearing weave, perming your hair or wearing a wig (tupe) is self hate. So you can keep talking about "hair or here" till thine kingdom come not a biggy.

Sadly enough African and black women in general wear these things to be more appealing and the black men that should encourage them to love themselves are so into chasing whitey then the few black women that preach self love are chastized, how backwards.

Whose culture is it?
I realized that black people have been so innoculated with the be like white germ that they are beyond cure. For the person that said their is no researchable proof that perms have effect. Actually their is. . . if people took time to research they would find out. Braids with weaves destroy hair lines. Perms use chemicals that thin out hair and destroy the scalp the older you get and wigs most time look like tupe because all these crazy black people wear weaves not even clse to thier hair texture. Trifling
FashionRe: Wigs, Weaves And Perms Symbolize Self Hate by savanaha: 4:18am On Nov 25, 2008
All the Nollywood stars have basically lost all their hair lines with the weave/wig crazy. The nasty mat tupee they fling on their hair is so gross I wonder why they don't go natural. So many of them lose their beauty with the place matt they lay on top of their head and act in movies with.

LOL!! This is a load of BS. I'm not a fan of wigs or weaves by the way but I don't criticize people who wear them.

As for perms, you gotta be really kidding me with that natural crap. you might as well stop brushing your mouth and taking showers

and be 'natural' all the way!!
Hey, Kudos to those who wear natural hair but that doesn't make them any better than those

who get perms - It's a matter of taste. nobody gets hurt, let's keep it moving!
Wow so wearing natural hair is close to not showering of brushing ones teeth.

How many people hair actually went to college or plan to go.

I see two problems with both sides of the issue.

1. The OP is ignoring the natural versitility of African hair. Our hair by nature, can withstand and can adopt a lot of styles. Why shouldn't we have the option of taking advantage of that? Placing our hair in one way just to fit what others believe is "black beauty"is not only is silly, but it also keeps blacks in a box.

2. The opponents of Fayah's views have compared not relaxing or weaving to not bathing. That is asinine and a prime example of self-hatred. Our natural kinks and curls are not comparable to bad hygeine. Our hair is not ugly, but some of you posters mentality is.
Thank you. I wish you could see me jumping up and down thanking you. I thought everyone in Nairaland had lost their mind. It is so sad that the minds of most blacks have degenerated so much to the point that natural hair is considered dirty. The funny thing is whenever someone (me) bring up the historical reasonings to why blacks torment themselves to look white it is considered nazism. Self hatred is sad, people think that only saying "I am ugly" or being annorexic is self hatred or low self esteem.

In the movie "why did I get married" they did and she couldn't pay so they told her big butt to go walk off the fat and shame. That is really discrimmination.

whats so healthy about using beeswax on your head like the dreads do?

Point is why are people so bothered with what others do with their own head? huh
Technically beesewax and all those other oils black people use to stunt their hair growth without knowing it is useless. If you hair is natural black people's hair are curly enough that you don't need those things in water and even though water is black women's kryptonite it is actually good to wet your hair often. Water grows it better than the beeswax and all those other nonsense.

How are you so sure it's not her own hair?
Simply go to google or Yahoo, whatever search engine suits you best, type her name and look at enough pictures of Susan Taylor and if that does not convince you, call Essence and ask her. She will tell you herself that is weave braided in her hair.

For example Erykah Badu and her fatherless children yet with the same mouth she screams against processed hair like you're doing now

Maybe if she minded her business, she'd know the father of her children.

She's not the only one guilty of this though hence my snide comment.

and no one looks at those iwth natural hair as being radicals. That's just what they want to beieve to make themselves feel important.
Not quiet sure where your getting your information from but Erykah Badu knows who the three fathers of her three children are. Superhead the holy has processed hair and maybe she is what should be used to assess all women with processed hair? Anyways most people with natural hair are seen as radicals just like during the civil rights movement people wore their hair natural to show their appreciation for how God made them. I didn't realize that being radical could make someone feel important.

I personally I have no problem with women who go for that forsaken "Natural" look, but when they begin to degrade upon those who choose an alternative route is when I have a problem.

Eventually I might go back to my "Natural" look, what ever the hell that is but, I will not parade around telling old black people tales with my giant slave spoon, singing. . .

Wade in the water
Wade in the water
Children now
Wade in the water
God treble the waters

natural ko, bush woman ni
I don't get the "forsaken natural look point." Anyways no one is singing any Negro spirituals about having natural hair even though it is healthier.

Have you seen the hairline of the editor of Essence Magazine? She only braids her hair yet her hairline now starts from behind her ears
You do realize that Susan Taylor uses weave to braid her hair and that does indeed mess with the hair line and that was my point to begin with?

I fail to see the difference between the two. Seems like you're making excuses for white people to me. It's ok for them to add hair to their natural hair but black women arent?
You fail to see that one is adding on to what is their own hair type while the other is wearing something that is totally different from what they are. Let me explain it like when a white person goes to Nigeria and acts foreign because they are and then a Nigerian that traveled 2 years ago goes back to Nigeria and acts foreign as well. The difference is that one of these things is not like the other, one of these things just doesn't belong.

wish I knew. I braid my hair more than I perm it yet I don't go around thinking I'm some special star

can't stand girls like that. Doesnt help that most of them are the biggest hos but that's a whole different thread grin
Bs. how can girls with natural hair be "hos" when most black people men and women think that the whiter you look the better you are. Most people that go natural are often seen as the radicals not assimilating to the norms and earthy. Most "hos" on the other hand want to look cute with the crazy colorama weaves and what not.

I don't get why when people say things with relevance even history can attest to they are seen as elevating themselves on a "pedestal" (pedastool). Virgins are also seen as acting holier than thou and what not.

Pnce again, Paris has complete relevance to this topic because she OWNS A WEAVE LINE called Dream locks which she advertizes with her own head. Many white celebs patronize this line as well so whether she's a sex fiend or whatever crap has nothing to do with the fact that she wears a weave and so do the many that buy her stuff

You sincerely think those country singers with the big puffy hair, you think that's their hair?? Rofl.

Abeg
Paris Hilton is also wearing weave her hair color and texture and not an afro or one the texture of a black persons hair. When black people wear weave are they doing the same?
