Bastage:No need for callouse images. At first you said whites had no time to do damage, then now it is that a vast majority did no do damage. At the end of the day many damages were done on farms by white farmers that knew that what they had taken from black families were being recovered from them. I agree with you that some lands were given to the wrong people who did not use and have not used these agricultural lands the way that it seemed they would be used when Mugabe precured them (I agree without being callouse or rude). However there are many more factors impacting what is going on in Zimbabwe than you and many other people who see Mugabe as the only evil in Zimbabwe. The way lands were divided, sanctions, destruction by white farmers and many other factors are at play. The funny thing about you or I guess people like you are that you think (ASS U ME) that you are the only educated unfallacious people on earth. It is your opinion or bliss and you can go ahead and enjoy it. Like I have said we had discussed this at length in my political science class. And I guess I should tell my political science professor that all the readings, videos we watched and information we got were wrong because you said so. The Zimbabwean students who hate Mugabe but are unbaised when it comes to certain things are also wrong. Zimbabwe is basically totally cut off. One of the few countries that did not agree to the UN sanctions was actually China and Russia. Anyways seeing as you are the only intelligent, educated, unfallacious person as it pertains to Zimbabwe I will let you continue being the Supreme all knowing. It will however do you some good to really research before claiming that Mugabe is running propaganda. I wonder how he can mange to do that when most people hate it. He is running propaganda so much that a white political science professor will show that Mugabe is not the only one screwing Zimbabweans over. I hail you in all your knowledge and wisdom. |
tpia.:He already has Ogletree a black Harvard Law professor representing him. |
Bastage:Seriously!?! There is actually videos of white farmers ruining tractors, and destroying whatever they could get their hadns on. Many of them realized that the court proceedings were not going to be favorable to them. So you realize that there are sanctions against Mugabe and Zimbabwe, yet you made the statement that I had no clue. O.K then am not really sure where you were goig with that then. |
Bastage:Listen to me! If you disagree with something I write that is fine go ahead but no need to claim I have no clue. I implore you to type sanctions and Zimbabwe and you will be able to know what sanctions. We actually discussed this in my political science lecture at my school. You don't have to believe everything but do yourself some good and do a little research no matter how small. Yes Zimbabwe has been sanctioned, hard to. As for taking the land back. He started from the 80s talking about it. He reached agreements with England and they would set a time and the whites would back off on the deal as is the centuries old trick of going back on deals. Mugabee did not initially ask for everything back just that some of the lands be returned to the original owners who were displaced at the whim of a white man needing the land. Do you realize that at times there were white farmers that owned land as big as small Islands, in a continent that was not theirs to begin with? His ignorance came from how he was attacked after taking the lands back. Whites distroyed whatever they could so that the people getting it would not be able to have much use of it. The West rained down on Mugabe and Zimbabwe for taking their things back that had been discussed for decades but no one had made a peep when black families were removed from land that had been theirs for centuries. |
Hahahahaah! Mugabee has a mouth on him. He tore those people up. I remember reading about a African-European summit in 2007 where Spain asked African Nations to work and prevent illegal immigration. Kadhafi quickly tore Spain up. He told Spain and other European countries to return the wealth they stole from Africa. He also reminded them that when they were coming to Africa for colonization and theft they had no passports and were illegals to. Hahahaahaha!!! I hope I find the article. I feel bad that people of Zimbabwe are suffering because the West sanctioned that country. I am a supporter of what Mugabe did to the 7% of whites controling a country that they stole land from. I think I read somewhere that Mugabe's family were actually removed from their land because a white planter wanted it. One of the reasons Mugabe is so afraid to leave office might be that all his has done will be overturned plus he will be killed. He started off well but due to so many other factors and events his actions were quickly catalyzed to tyranny. Too bad!! |
Someone in my lab was just discussing this. How funny, I had a professor who went to Harvard and she informed our class how the police had openly said they would stop and question any group of black male they caught on the campus, student or not. However this is 2009. What are the possibilities that 50something year old would be breaking into a house around Harvard. I bet the neighbours called the police. |
Ndipe:] But from reading the article there is or should be no influence of any African tribe influences this couple since they are both African American. I understand to an extent the slavery and migration but the African tribal argument holds no water in terms of this relationship. |
There are so many different styles on Youtube. I especially love some of the frohawks. |
African tribal tradition kwa? ![]() |
pharmacist:Someone also gave an explanation that was simple and to the point. HIV cannot be cured by coconut oil. Obinoscopy: |
Andre Uweh:Shame on them. Keep playing your Nigerian music. You should call those morons out. |
Beaf:I just don't understand the need for him/her/it to always find ways to demean the suffering of other Nigerians inside or outside of Nigerian. Then he/she/it always makes everything about winning a debate or bashing "Ibos" (whoever those are). Then when this "Great Debater" is asked a simple question it becomes an attack on "my person" (someone I have never met) while being called silly. |
fayahsoul:She just feigns a higher sense of intelligence in her never ending debates. Superiority Complex I guess. Kedu Fayahsoul? |

mikeansy:No need to make sense when you are far removed from problems plagueing ordinary people. It is mere debate when life is great on your side. Sort of like the story that Marie Antoinette on hearing that peasants were starving, proffered that they should be given cake. Kobojunkie LMAO at people suffering then debates their suffering of ordinary people or debates "Ibos." I guess such comes with superior intellect and an unbaised nature that ordinary none adults like me will never understand. |
Kobojunkie:And you are free to simply make serious problems that ordinary people face everyday into a simple debate where anything can and should be said for your POINT and yours alone to make you come out on top. You are indeed on Nairaland to DEBATE the testing part is also your personal opinion which you are again free to make in order to win the debate. While am not here merely to make people's problems an insignificant debatable issue, I don't think trying to understand why you feign interest in Nigeria's issues just to debate it is a waste of time. Anyways good luck with your debates and LMAO and the Ibos whoever those are. |
Kobojunkie:It's probably just you. Most people on here do not see that world as I do neither do they see it as you do. You can take it as an attack or whatever that's your choice. You just act as if you are interested in Nigeria and well being but in the end it is all about "debating" for you. I guess people's problems are just debattable to you. Your life must be so excellent that other human issues are simply debatable. You also act as if you are above the common Nairaland behavior yet anything ith Igbo or Ibo as you insist of spelling it irks the life out of you. You are quick to claim that people are insulting your person yet your posts never lack insults of other people's "person." (@Are you right in the head). I guess it becomes more than a debate when somone questions your agenda or questions you atall. It irks you when Nigerians outside of Nigeria stands up for themselves. You start questioning and LMAO at the fact that Nigerians abroad don't want to be exploited or harmed as if it is something so unfathomable. As if living in the country (outside of Nigeria) that you are, you let people walk all over and exploit you because people in Nigeria do not stand up for themselves. Then you constantly question when Nigerians will stand up for themselves. The fact that you are not living in Nigeria means that you could not handle it either. The exploitations by the government and all. You constantly want valid proof for things yet can never proof hard proofs for yourself. I really don't care if you think I don't argue like an adult or whatever. It just baffles me that when ordinary people are facing immense issues the most important thing to you as a human being is debating. Debating issues, so that you can come out the best debator. Maybe if everyone was living incredibly comfortable as you are, it would be thrilling to go around in circles debating things and just to end up making it just an unimportant issue. As you would like to make it appear that you have no baises it is always appearant what your baises are. Just simply wanting to play the devils advocate is fine when the issue at hand doesn't constantly involve other people's lives. For you attacking on your person is asking you a question whereas stoop to name calling is not attacking but a simple part of you beloved "debate." Living in another country from their mother country does not mean that people don't care. However making extreme problems that are occuring in your mother country a simple debate is the problem that is not easily computed. It is easy to sit on Nairaland and call for ordinary Nigerians who might not have access to the computer or internet to take a stance that enough is enough and fight for their right. However, if that happens will you be willing to join or sacrifice yourself by leaving the comforts of America? I doubt you are that alturistic. |
Kobojunkie:Everything is always only a debate for you yet you are always LMAO the loudest saying when will Nigerians do anything about the state their in and their country. As if you really care chilling in the Non-Nigerian country that you are in looking for someone to partake in a mere debate with while people are going through real life circumstances. |
Kobojunkie:Kobojunkie why are you so terrified about the Biafran movement. You never worry about people trying to secede to Benin, like Becoomrich or whatever but you keep getting hypertension about Biafrans. Jeeze, what is meant to happen will happen whether you think internet will do anything. |
Jakumo:Please ooo, I am taking Almighty Chineke begging you not to invoke Becoomrich's name on this thread! Although his images, maps, world and universal satillites makes it appear that a topic is hot, it also makes Nigerians look crazy in some ways. |
~Lady~:While I agree abortion is wrong I can't say there are absolutely no medical reasons for it. There is a scenario where a 9 year old girl was impregnated because her step father raped her. She was pregnant with twins I think. At any rate if she waited for the child to be full term then she would die and I believe that the child(ren) would die as well because her body was not developed enough. In this circumstance it makes not sense for a nine year old child to carry the child(ren) which will eventually kill her while they develop. |
Is the man by her side that looks like he is crying her husband or is it the guy in the back with sunglasses inside? |
kok:If he needed a friend, it is hard to believe that the only way to make one is by specifically looking for 17-18 year old females on Nairaland when girls are abundant in every society except maybe China and India |
Chineke, snake in Florida Wal-Mart? I will never enter that place. From stories I have heard from my mother of snakes, I am scared immobile of them. |
Interesting. |
Beaf:That's incredible. |

kok:Right!! |
