Awesomejah:There's a mock exam today to help with that. |
For those who care.
|
mrksquare:Please log on to rssssb.org/updates. It's all there. |
Any updates? |
mrksquare:I can agree @bolded for the Civil Service recruitment, and politicians can allocate RSCS jobs to their cronies. But this cannot happen on a large with RSSSB and RSUBEB recruitments. In fact, RSSSB exam is tomorrow, 9th. The circular has been posted. It's open to all applicants. The exam can be done with any device with internet connectivity. |
Fihto:OK, sir. |
Fihto:Have they sent out mails? |
Removing subsidy is not the problem. We actually need to take it off sooner than later. The issue is, Nigerians would rather continue with it, because the alternative isn't worth it in micro and macro economic terms. To simply ignore and downplay the immediate term impact of a removal on local prices of commodities is callous by all considerations. And with inflation hitting 23% we simply lack the luxury. Also, there's absolutely no precedence anywhere in Nigeria that guarantees that subsidy removal would instantly attract investments to the sector, and don't even mention the telecoms sector, because that was a peculiar case. What is the volume of investments we've attracted to the DPK and AGO subsectors since they were deregulated? Taking subsidy off would be a move that's akin to attempting to cure a terminal disease with a scratch. The fundamental challenges of mismanagement of resources and failure to attract investments remain regardless, and they should constitute the bulk of our concerns and not a removal. Yes, we don't have the funds to run the country, but what are the governments at various strata doing with all the billions flying all over the place? Wike, for instance, has so much money to go on air across several TV stations at whim, and yet, the state has the second most unemployed population. His administration has so many HCD failings that we cannot count. What would more money in a Wike's control do to the economy? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! We are not even putting to good use what we currently have to do anything worthwhile, and we are asking to put more money into the hands of these foolish leaders. NEVER!!!! |
No human being deserves to be in the civil service past 60. A seventy year old man should be focused on maintaining his/her health and not actively involved with the rigours of office wahala. Asking Judges to stay in active service past 62 is wicked. |
You see why the ECOWAS sub-region is such a failed region? They're asking the UK to grant leniency to persons whose actions posed mortal danger to another human being. Gladly the UK knows the value of one life. Let them act according to law. |
For years several stakeholders have been harping about our outdated schools curriculum, and nothing has been done about it. It won't take much effort than to setup a committee of education stakeholders and intelligentia to come up with one that reflects modern needs. But, you see Nigeria? They can't do it, and probably never will, because, the quality of education or its lack thereof doesn't affect the barrels of oil we sell daily, and whose proceeds we share amongst ourselves for looting purposes. Unlike advanced economies, the quality of education doesn't directly affect the survivability of the country. If we need anything we simply import it. Nigeria goes on with or without quality education, and that's why its taking government over five decades to update a simple curriculum that's outlived its use. |
Penguin2:Those buildings could stay empty for 15years straight. Just like the Mile 1 Market in PH. |
mistercute:If you are referring to submission of applications, that ended second week of April. |
tonyangel2012:I haven't heard of any. But I don't doubt it, anywho. This government can never implement employment exercise in a transparent manner. They can't. |
What is the cost of rent, and flight ticket? |
No be your fault at all. |
It surprises me how no one is talking about the West's resolve to ditch fossil fuels in a matter of years. Even as early as 2030-2050. What would be our plan to mitigate the effects of this energy policy? |
Wrong. He redefined his bank account with Nigeria's politics. |
humilitypays:@bolded, what? OK. |
The states and LGs are completely useless, but poverty in the country currently is all on Buhari, due to poorly executed policies, and some out rightly nonsensical and inconsiderate. Closing of borders, devaluing the naira, raising VAT, increasing every port duty and levy imaginable, etc. This is all on President Muhammadu Buhari. |
I will forgive the Labour Party for not strengthening its structures pre-elections, but if they fail to do so in the coming months it would be an unforgivable sin. So many now see them as the viable opposition above the PDP. They have the leverage now to solidify their base and get set for the coming elections. If they fail to put their house together soon enough, some of the guys that won on their platform may be compelled to defect. A court of competent jurisdiction has removed the chairman. The action to take is not protest, but to challenge the judgement in a higher court. They just shouldn't fail Nigerians at this crucial point of our history. |
tunjijones:I am fully Obidient, but I honestly think Peter Obi has a very, very slim chance at winning his case in court. His prayers are not as potent as I expected them to be. Here are a few things I think: 1) The drug case, at best, would be thrown back to High court for deliberation and judgement. If you consider the amount of time it would take for that case to travel from the HC to the SC, it would be better to assume at the moment that it is void. (2) 25% FCT votes was decided in 2003 in the Buhari vs Obasanjo litigation. The SC stated that the FCT was to be be treated as a state in voting considerations. Obj didn't get 25% in Abuja in 2003 and was sworn in. (3) The case of electoral malpractice is ambiguous. But, this, I think is where Obi just might get a favourable call. But it's difficult yet. Why? Any claim as to the use of the IREV to transmit results is DOA. The trick was already played in the Electoral Act (as amended). INEC, in spite of what it says in its guidelines, can choose to transmit results using any mode they prefer, and it would be lawful. Also, the Act states it pretty clear that collation would be done using the various ECs forms. And considering the courts hold INEC's position on election matters as near sacrosanct, it would be difficult to beat them on a good day. Be that as it may I am, however, hopeful, because the election was severely flawed. I don't envisage any scenario where Tinubu is removed, honestly. At best votes may be cancelled in affected PUs, and with the margin Tinubu has, he most likely wins in that scenario, too. It is really difficult. It may take a miracle, but gladly miracles exist. We have reason to hope. |
And then it all blew to cinder. |
If his people dim him fit to represent them in Abuja, then he absolutely deserves it. Congratulations to him. |
favor914:Good for them. The courts won't judge differently regardless. |
In 2014, no one would imagine that we could ever surpass 15% inflation. Adesina said the other day that Buhari would leave Nigeria better than he met it. I weak for this govament people. |
I desperately want Peter Obi to win in the courts, but that "...and 25% of votes in FCT" provision was settled in the Supreme Court in 2003. FCT is recognized as a state by the constitution. This is precisely what the tribunal would judge on that matter. |
Out of 70million out of job? No be una fault. |
The woman was already looking frail and battered. This is pure wickedness. They could have just sent her home. |
The influence of one man got over 30 persons elected in various NASS, SHOA and gubernatorial seats. And we're supposed to listen to one educated attack dog who has never contested for and won a Councillor seat before. |
Like say you get President wey send you. |
