Take this to the front page for people to comment. These moderators are very sentimental; if it was FFK talking about the minister, U'll see it on front page. For these trabalistic e-wars to stop, only threads that would make or create impact should be brought to front page. |
...something is not just right & this might look funny to everyone not knowing dat the orientation or people are been changed everyday & impressions are been created from the info they get on nairaland on a daily basis. -There are 36 states in Nigeria but why is Anambra state only mentioned even if it happened; what happened to dat of other states. - Y are the moderators always interested in bringing to the front page threads the will not create impact but rather cause ethnic or tribal e-battle... ...just my own opinion |
Why is this post taking dis long to make front page if not 4 sentiment. See what sentiment can do; people find it hard to appreciate 4 once what GEJ has done here. Remember he has a chioce to stop & help or just find their way around & leave without stopping to help the victims. Its his choice to make. Haters I'm waying 4 d insults/comments. |
She wants to kill herself becos of ASUU 4 month strick. Na wa o... What about those wey don graduate since 3 year ago wey neva get a job or those that graduated and no organisation want to employ them cos of age constraint. For instance, our banks would tell you that one of the criterias for their employment is that you must not more than be 23years old not considering that age does not pause as the strick is on-going. ...who did dis to the girl? |
Some f00lish once come hear to spoo rubbish about Nigeri breaking up. WHO IS NIGERIA? Nigeria has NO problem; its the citizens (individuals) & system that has the problem. So channel your points direct to the source. |
All those pointing fingers to GEJ & the aviation minister for buying such a care becos of their personal hatred should read this; http://nigeriafilms.com/news/12969/4/govfasholaasiwaju-bola-ahmed-tinubu-get-n600-milli.html |
Just keep it up |

Why won't we? Our doctors don't carry out any research once they are certified as doctors. They don't even know when a drug is out of use cos of new findings. This is were we expected our ''so called'' government to increase the tariff of flying out for medical check-up so as to encourage our own doctors & foreign investors willing to improve the sector. Instead, they focused on tokunbo cars. Lol |
Bunch of confused guys doing the right thing @ the wrong time. If you ask why, you'll get reasons like; it will create employment, help make our naira valueable etc. That is not what 9ja needs for now. We have been made to have confident in oursef & not to look @ what the government can offer. The government should focus on STABLE POWER, GOOD ROAD & SECURITY OF PROPERTY & LIFE. Nigerian have great business ideas even in production but no power supply, no good road to minimise the cost of production. Take for instance, since the communication companies came into 9ja, they have been milking us dry cos they supply/generate/provide their own source of power & we all know what these requires (24hrs of running desel generators). Talking about production or assembling of cars in Nigeria, hope they don't come again with their CHINCO MENTALITY of producing inferior part. Has anyone wondered why people while fixing/repairing their new cars or tokunbo, they prefer tokunbo parts (follow-come) & not the 9ja ones; Its becos our producers most time, don't think of solving the problem but focus on making money/profit. Lastly; the government should lead by example. They should change their official cars to 9ja made car. |
Okija_juju: Gobe...Can U put us thru by what U mean wen U wrote ALRAMING. ...anyway U are one of the Graduate illiterates. |
5 years term for anyone caught cheating in WAEC abi? Now what will then happen to the government officials that secretly smuggled the papers out for thier own selfish, greedy & fraudulent interest/action before it got to the hands of the candidates. What is the jail term for our dubious leaders who cheat the society they are meant to lead by converting funds meants for development to their personal money? What will happen to our corrupt politician who cheat/rig during election/selection? ...imagine the kind of people leading us. An attorny general of a state was arrested in the UK for trying to claim Abacha's loot & same kind of people are still moving around in our mist I sometimes wonder how they run their home. |
Atleast, we are d first country in african to discover the usefulness of a mase. The only country where crude oil will rush out of the tap in a house. |
All I see is a group getting ready for 2015 & trying to raise money for the election no matter what it will cost them. This is the best time to renovate the Ikoyi or kirirki prison just incase. |
Port Harcourt to Ghana. I felt like abandoning the car cos all the dudes with me in the car could not drive. I learnt my lesson that day. Never embark on such a journey me folks who only drive with their mouth. |
At least one person was feared killed on Thursday morning when a 12-man armed bandits struck at a first generation bank in Isselle-Uku in Aniocha North LGA, Delta Delta State. Police authorities alleged that there could be an insiders' collaboration in the robbery attack. According to the Police Public Relations Officer, Lucky Uyabeme, the bank was expecting unspecified "huge sums" of money, but said the bandits attacked before the money arrived. The bandits were said to have arrived the bank in an unmarked Toyota Siena space bus at about 11am and shot sporadically to scare away the bank customers before blowing open the vault with an explosive, suspected to be a dynamite. According to an eyewitness, who craved anonymity, the robbers cordoned off all access roads to Isselle-Uku town from other neighbouring towns like Onicha-Ukwu, Ubulu-Okiti, Isselle-Mkpitime and Onicha-Ugbo. The hoodlums were said to be heavily armed and shooting indiscriminately. During the shooting, stray bullets reportedly hit a roadside mechanic on the head, while a girl was shot in the buttocks in the ensuing confusion as residents fled in different directions. According to the source, the robbery operation, that created pandemonium in the sub-urban community and lasted for about 30 minutes, was carried out successfully without any interference from security agents. Although, the exact amount of money that was carted away was not known as of press time, the Police authority said the "criminals took away small amount since their expectations were cut short." Efforts made to reach the bank manager, Isioma Osunbor, was not successful as she did not pick several calls to her mobile set. source: http://ipaidabribenaija.com/news/item/61911-one-person-dies-as-armed-robbers-attack-bank-in-delta |
A former Vice President and member of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has confirmed that some of his political associates are set to register a new party, the Peoples Democratic Movement, PDM. The PDM, one of Nigeria's oldest existing political movements was founded by Nigeria's former deputy military leader, late Shehu Yar'Adua, and is currently headed by Mr. Abubakar. While describing the PDM, Mr. Abubakar's media aide, Garba Shehu, in a statement sent to journalists, said, "The PDM platform, which was founded by late General Shehu Musa Yar'Adua, provided the impetus for his impressive performance across the country during the September 1992 presidential primaries, which were later cancelled by the military regime." "The late Gen. Yar'Adua came close to becoming President, thanks to the formidable PDM structure. In 1999, the PDM was also in the forefront in the emergence of former President Obasanjo as PDP presidential candidate. "Political observers also noted that the choice of Atiku Abubakar as running mate to Obasanjo in 1999 was a recognition of the active role of the PDM platform in his victory." The PDM is known to have top politicians across the county as members including former Katsina State Governor, Lawal Kaita; and former Minister and Lagos politician, Dapo Sarumi. While the former vice president confirmed in the statement that some of his associates are in the process of registering the PDM as a political party, he however said he still remained a member of the Peoples Democatic Party, PDP. Mr. Abubakar said while he remains a loyal PDP member, he doesn't have the right or power to stop others from associating or seeking registration for new parties. The former vice president, who said he had no powers to stop adults with common interests from coming together to form a party, said he would always welcome the expansion of the political space to accommodate all shades of opinions or political hue. He also noted that many of his political associates are equally members of political parties other than the PDP. According to him, freedom of association as enshrined in the constitution is the beauty of democracy and that he wouldn't dissuade any of his followers from seeking a platform to promote their programmes. Mr. Abubakar recently complained publicly that he was being ostracised from the PDP. In a petition sent to the PDP National Chairman, Mr. Abubakar said he was being denied of all the entitlements due him as a former vice president and member of the ruling party. The Adamawa-born politician was President Goodluck Jonathan's main challenger for the PDP presidential ticket prior to 2011, having edged out other northern candidates including former president Ibrahim Babangida. He complained then that the PDP primaries were manipulated to favour the president. Mr. Abubakar also contested the 2007 presidential elections, then under the platform of the Action Congress, a party that is now part of the All Progressives Congress. An astute politician, political observers believe registering the PDM is an avenue to create a vehicle on which Mr. Abubakar could contest the 2015 presidential election source: http://ipaidabribenaija.com/politics/item/61843-i-remain-in-pdp-but-my-associates-are-set-to-register-pdm-atiku |
MARK MY WORDS & YOU CAN ALSO QUOTE ME WHEN THE TIME COMES; THIS IS THE BEGINING OF THE END FOR THE SOCALLED MR PRESIDENT. SINCE THE BEGINING OF TIME NOBODY OR POWER THAT STOOD AGAINST GOD SURVIVED IT. CLOSING ALL CHURCHES BECOS HE THINKS SOME ARE FAKE IS A FIGHT AGAINST THE ONE WHO CALLED THE REAL ONCE. THE FACT THAT THERE ARE FAKE PASTORS, IS A SIGN THAT THE REAL ONCE ARE THERE SO WHY CONDEM ALL? THE SCRIPTURE SAYS; I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH AND THE GATES OF HELL SHALL NOT PREVAIL AGAINST IT. I ADVICE EVERYONE TO BE CAREFUL ABOUT THEIR COMMENTS AND SEE HOW THIS PRESIDENT WILL END. LET GOD ARISE AND LET HIS ENEMIES BE SCARTTER. ...a time for all who mocks the church of GOD to see NO ONE tampers with the things of GOD and goes free. |

I was doing it as part of fun. ...I'll ask the whole class to stand on their desk or locker & I'll flog the back of their legs (saly). ...I'll give the student N10 to buy me something worth N15 & bring me back change of N5. ...Then, when I really want to purnish a student, I'll give him ''V'' shape portion of grass to cut. Meanwhile, I'll take one leg of your sandals. |

What goes round must surely come around. Its only an issue of time. Nigeria will never experience an organised revolution because we are too careful and scared. The errors of our socalled leaders will start one when the time comes & NO ONE can excempt himself then. It may look and sound funny now but we are heading toward something that will affect everyone. ...be scensitive. |
They should join the Nigeria Airforce before they waiste. |
femi4: But if you receive credit alert, it should contain not only the amount sent to you but also your account balance. It was successful because the Aboki was careless & desperate to make profit so he forgot to do his due deligent. It is also important we know that there is nothing this 419 guys can't do. I believe it wasn't the first transaction they heard done. The guys will first of all do several transactions with the aboki that will not be fraudulent until they gain aboki trust. Thats when they'll strick. Secondly, some have bank links that will release the account balance of the account provided to make the job look real. Aboki had confident in the guy & never suspected any fraud so he did not aleart his brother to confirm account balance properly. The brother also didn't bother cos he believe the other brother knows and have done business with the fraudulent guy. |
Okija_juju: Why ban the players for life and give the club 10years?! Dont they realize that the players only executed the crime, but the real culprit are those behind the fraud (e.g Referee, club managers, coaches and co.)its suppose to be the other way round. Ban the club for life and the player 10year. Police don bring their attitude come inside football. NPF we hail una |
Can Africans or Nigeria take its stand for once and not being influence by these demons in white skin? African is seen as second class humans cos we are pushed to every rubbish they bring to us. We easily give up once we hear the word ''sanction'' or they'll stop their aid towards us. Come to think of it, what is their aim of same sex marriage. Has same sex marriage contributed 0.0001% positively in any society? ...Africans should be aware that there is always a test you'll pass for greatness so we must not fail this exam before us. |
