There has always been this misunderstanding between the Ikwerre people and the Okrikans.

What we are all hearing now is just the student version. The Okrika people will definately hit back.

I only feel for the unfortunate once that will not take precaution.

But I think if you had used the quality time spent in writing this to convience christian the other way round (to advise your brothers) it would have been better.

I saw this news online another site and it was said the guys were not caught in the act but the stolen items (phones and laptop) was seen in their posession.

Without investigation by villagers in Aluu community they were beaten tired up and were later burnt to death.

Even if those guys were caught in the act (stealing), who is more dangerious to the community?

The man who stole or the man who had the guts to kill a fellow man for stealing without remors?

If the standard of education in Nigeria is Ok and you want your children to study any profession that Nigeria does not offer, that would have been a different issue entirely.

But in this case our standard is nothing to write home about (as a result of poor management & corruption) and you are made a member of NASS hoping/believing you can contribute in making things better then U take your own children abroad to study from the scratch.

That shows you don't believe in what you are called to handle or you don't even plan to make any change otherwise you'll make your own children to stay back and enjoy from the impact you think is better for other peoples children.

Guys, don't get so excited about this.

If they succeed in making this a law, it will not make any difference cos the schools their children will attend will not be affordable for an average man thereby making the standard of govt schools to fall and the prices of private school to appreciate rapidly so as to try to even meet with their ''so called standard''.

Except we are to expect more laws that will backup the after effect.

Otherwise, a clear line will show between the schools their children will attend and other schools which will inturn lead to open discrimination.

Having said that, I am irritated by some folks saying it isn't tithe. What does that matter? Whether the EFCC call it tithe or sensationalise it, does that justify it? The man gave stolen money. That is an abomination to God. God is not hungry to be looking for money by all means. It is an insult to God. If it is established, the money should be returned. Whether it is Catholic or Redeemed or Christ embassy makes no difference. That is irrelevant. The mere idea of men trying to bribe God is just ridiculous. Get this abomination out of God's house!

Imagine some even saying at least it is for a good cause. Which good cause? Saul tried it in the bible and Samuel stripped him of his throne at God's command. "To obey is better than sacrifice and to hearken than the fat of rams". Stop paying or giving or donating your corrupt money to God! God doesn't need it. You are insulting God and the name of Jesus! Stop it now!

Please put me thru; are you putting the blame on the church who recieved the money from the man or the man who gave stolen money?

Do you know how many people give/put offerings on sunday in a church; do you also know the source of the money they put or give as offerings?

To me, the church is not to be blamed for what happened. The one who gave contaminated offering should be blamed for doing such an abominable thing.

If the man in question had been declared wanting before then in such area, the church might have NO option but to question the source of the money.

God knows the heart of men that was why He warned against bringing of contermination offerings.

In adamawa state, they have irrigation problem. By allowing the dam to crack open. Nigeria can use the water for irrigation.. the benue have reduce in width because cameroon dam the river.

But nigeria has to plan for this dam cracking by building water channel diversion system in adamawa. And now this water channel diversion system can now be converted to irrigation system..

And we can also dam this river on the nigeria side if the lagdo Dam in cameroon crack up. It is already 35 years old.

To manage the problem the solution is water channel diversion system in adamawa. But we need water breakers along the path because of large volume of water may damage the water channel diversion system

Your ideas might sound good but its theory.

People are aleady suffering from the effect of the rise in water level and you are suggesting such to a government dat signed and released fund for a N300b road contract in 2006 for the construction of east/west road in Niger-delta and nothing has been done till date.

The system has failed already.

Long before now, it has been all over the news that such (rise in water level) would happen; and the authorities involved made no plan and arrangement.

stagger: Tithes are paid to where an individual worships. SO if Atuche is not a worshipper in those churches, then what he gave cannot be called tithes, but rather donations.

Having cleared this up, it is very wrong for an individual to use money made from illegal means to give to the church in any form, be it tithes, offerings, donations, etc. The truth is that even if the money is accepted by the church, it can never be accepted by God and there will always be repercussions.

NO INDIVIDUAL CAN BRIBE GOD, otherwise the rich will buy favours from God at the expense of the poor, which can never happen. Is Atuche enjoying his life now? Has the money he allegedly gave out to the 2 churches bailed him out of his predicament?

Can someone divide and pay tithe in two churches? No.

The man donated the money for one reason or the other; and for your info, if it was gotten wrongly and was used by the church without knowing that would not change the mind of God for him. But if the leaders of the church are genuiely part of it, God takes His hands off and they'll have to face the consequences.

At the man's level and calibre, is it the duty of the church to investigate how he got the money?

People should not link a man's crime to a church except if detailed investigation proofs it was an arrangement between the man and some people in the church.

expects them to pay taxes without any encouragement or source of making the money;

always available to inpound their vehicles for no concrete reason and same government wants these guys to be normal?

Talking about drugs, the government is not even ashamed to say such a thing. How did these drugs get to their hands?

The US Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs spoke in a continent-wide telephone conference monitored at the US Embassy in Lagos.

Mr. Carson said Boko Haram is not a homogenous organisation and, therefore, not qualified to be labelled a terrorist group.

“Boko Haram is an organisation trying to discredit the Nigerian government and trying to show the government as ineffective in protecting its citizens,” he said.

He, however, conceded that the US “constantly keeps it (Boko Haram) under review” and that is why it has declared three Boko Haram leaders as terrorists.

Last June, the US Government placed Abubakar Shekau, Abubakar Adam Kambar and Khalid al-Barnawi on its global terror watch list.

“These three leaders were declared as terrorists because we believe they have established contacts and broader network with foreign terrorist organisations. They have sought funding and materials,” Carson said.

In the build-up to the November 6 US presidential election, Carson spoke extensively on US affairs in Africa.

According to him, the US’s predominant activities are targetted at helping “Africa deal with its ongoing security challenges” because crises take away resources meant for development. But, he said the country’s larger aim is to help Africa grow its economy, especially agriculture.

I have an idea of your kind of person so there will b no need for me to go low to ur level.

In some part of the world and even in this county, people have been amputated & killed for speaking about a ''religion or prophet'' and there was no court case/comment from pple like you.

Recently, a movie caused the death of some innocent people and your brothers/colleques started a bloody protest that others are talking about their prophet and you never ''reacted'' as usual.

The girl that was slapped was very fortunate that it wasn't your kind of place of worship.

She repeated a comment which she was corrected about.

I advise you watch the video, then compare what would have been the outcome if it were your place of heading the ground.

The Police man as an individual has to face the law; then the police service has to bear the resposiblities and consequencies cos the police man commited in the line of duty.

...come to think about it, are police men supposed the carry guns (AK 47 etc) around?

The govenrment should retrieve the guns and give them whistle, comm radios and kpako.

A policeman shot someone for scratching a police vehicle which they rough handle and can't even maintain.
