we dated for about 5years and after pressurising me to propose which i eventually did...that was exactly where the whole problem began...she started misbehaving . i dont know if she got so comfortable with the whole stufff. this lady has never washed my cloths or cleaned my house but i never bothered coz just like my dad i thot i could do all that by myself....she argues and nags alot. makes everybody believ i am at fault whenever we had misunderstanding... she complained about virtually everything including the engagement ring down to her everyday needs despite all i have don for her....most times she begs for forgiveness when i try to end the relationship long b4 we got to the stage of marriage preparation. she complained i do not have a car.next is she isnt sure if i could take care of her needs despite the fact that i earn average of 120 monthly and she does nothing to support me.after the breakup my family said its my gain while others said i should try and fix the relationship. pls nairalanders whats your take on this problem of mine. do i move on with my life or try and fix things? there are many things left unsaid but i dont want to bore u guys. permit my english, i hate touchscreens....

as this life sweet like this, you want to bother yourself with someone who will ruin your happiness.
the lady meant for you is out there and she will give you more happiness and blessings when the time comes, just be patient cus the break up is her loss not yours.

all I can say is this, we all know our flaws and should work on them..the key thing in every relationship is understanding and respect for each other cus it goes a long way, also is not every relationship that will lead to marriage.

so for the ladies, if your guy doesn't spend on you, pls pls pls is not mandatory he does but as a gentleman, he should know when to show care n appreciate his girl..is not a must you must date a broke ass guy but becareful so u don't fall a side chick for the rich ass guy either and also the broke ass guys can tomorrow become rich.

You are right. The op knows what works best for him. I seriously don't support begging on a first date... Still can't really wrap my head around the op's gist

everything depends on the op n what he wants..like there is this female friend of mine years back that I was wooing her close friend, so she was helping me with it.
there was this particular day she needed to call her friend n deliver a message to her but she had no call card and i bought for her without her asking.
next thing, she formed it as a habit to ask for call card anytime she is low on airtime.
I called her on phone one day and gave her a piece of my mind, immediately she said sorry and stop the habit.
till date we still talk like nothing happened and once in a while I send her airtime at my own will without her asking.

so it all depends on how op portray himself, no lady likes a weakly or someone stingy, so let him stand on his ground if he is not cool with her demand and surprise her by giving her money without her asking on a diff day, so she will know he is not stingy but wasn't cool with the way she went about her request.

I have been lying down like over an hour, not knowing what to do how to react. I'm this type of person that takes things calm, but on this, it's like I'm frozen, don't know how to react.
For some times now we have been having issues, but i thought we going to scale through this as usual. We are in a distance relationship, and most of our relationship life has always been on phone.

all I see here is trust issues which is the number one problem with long distance relationship..op have thus at the back of your mind incase of tomorrow, not all relastionship will work out fine or lead to marriage no matter how you try to iron the issues out or solve them, also not every girl out there is meant for you, you win some and you lose some..so if she decides to go then let her go, trust me she will come back if you are better than those guys out there.the question is, will you accept her or not?

really sadists!!! so let's assume you happen to be op sister, would you advice him to give her the money on a firs date and am sure you understand ladies very well, give them the first time and they will think is their right to always ask you for money and if they comes you don't give them, it will tuen to fight..

I can give a lady money if I v n when i want to n it must b something important..sometimes I can be funny and just send her money without her asking cus I know she will need it..this days matured, independent and right thinking ladies are finding something to do so they can pay true bills and less dependent on their loved ones and bf, rather than seating at home watching telemundo, africa magic, Enews or music channel, n expect a guy to work his ass out only to foot their bills..this is the number one reason why guys dump a lady especially if she has nothing more to offer or contribute to the relationship except sex cus they can get it elsewhere (free).
