i dont believe in such things as the "one" if such saying is true i still wonder why ppl who claim the moment i met he or she they were the one for me go ahead and still divorce or breakup, i guess they werent the "one"afterall, cox if they would have fought and stayed together. i rather find the wrong person then we walk things through and be the one for each other rather get the ready made the "one" who will only last as long as i keep deceving myself he is the "one" |

Fox gini you mean faux news please anyone who wants to listen to good news and not a party based, biased, stupid talking heads, incompete newscasters should just turn to other news channel. NTA nigeria is even better than faux news. while other channels might be baised at least it is not written on their foreheads unlike faux news |

Religion / Re: What Do Jehovah's Witnesses Have Against Catholics by SeaGoddes(f): 6:25am On Dec 22, 2008 |
yes the JW really do have a problem with the Cath. church i remember one day when the JW preacher that goes to people home came to me preaching as they always do and then after that they asked me to change from my church catholic church and start coming to theirs claiming it is where salvation lies, though i couldn't believe it i just ask them to kindly go, i was born a catholic, raised a catholic and will die a catholic. i guess almost all other churches has issue with the cath. church cause they see it as a greater force yet to be defeated, so they try all methods of craps to destroy their good names, starting with how catholics worship idols, do this and do that. we don't worship idols, we pray to them to help us present our problems to God. not that God wouldn't answer us directly it is just that they have won a favor with God which makes them more closer to God than us sinners on earth. just like when you want to talk to president of a country like US, you don't just pick the phone and dial and talk to the Pres. directly someone very close to the president has to relay your message to the pres. which makes more quickly for him to get to you. Catholicism is old of the oldest Christianity founded by Christ himself, so whether you like it or not nothing on this planet earth will tear down the good name of the church. so other churches can whip all they want catholic church is here to stay. |

Cayon: The Catholic Church has been formally recognizing saints since the second century. At that time, individuals became saints based more on popular demand than any sort of formal process. Because of this, the list of saints grew quickly. Reforms instituted at Vatican II pared down the list of saints celebrated worldwide in the liturgy. The “saint-making” process, overseen by the Congregation for the Causes of Saints, has also been revised. There are three steps necessary for a person to become a saint. First, the person must be named Venerable, which means he or she exhibited heroic virtues in life. Before moving on to beatification, the person must have a miracle attributed to him or her. Once such a miracle is confirmed, the person is known as Blessed. For the final step before canonization, the individual must have yet another miracle attributed to his or her intercession—unless he or she was a martyr for the faith. Only then is a person canonized and added to the list of saints. Often people will say Catholics worship saints. Actually, it’s more of a “looking up to” them as examples of how we should live. Paintings or statues of these saints serve as visual reminders for us to emulate the saints in our own lives. We pray to saints for their intercession, which is like asking a friend of God to ask God for a favor. |
