VellyG: He resigned because he's been sidelined by the governor. In many cases the governor uses his wife as his representative in occassions where he didnt show up instead of his deputy,a situation where the SSG is more popular than the deputy governorIn addition, the man was nocturing a political ambition. So he's going down so that an Oron man can be appointed who will eventually become the governor come 2015. (Source from the beer palour here in Baracks road, Uyo) |
