If only Messi could assume Iniesta's role, play Neymar in Messi's position while Arda takes his position at LW, we might have a different identity in the midfield as Messi can dictate from there and still score some good goals.

I stand with the team come rain come sun. This does not mean we should not call a spade a spade rather than a mere working tool.
We have not been playing well at all this season and we have often times been bailed out by individual's brilliance. Our midfield has been completely off it and it calls really for concern.
Most of our players have been performing below expectation if you would agree with me. Alba, Neymar, Suarez, Busi, Rakitic, Masch are all not doing well, and these are the major guys in the 1st team. Messi was out for months and we suffered because Ney and Suarez couldnt live up to expectation. 32yr old Iniesta is out injured and our midfield has been in shambles.
If we continue this way, it's only a matter of time before the team collapses especially when Messi's brilliance is not enough to bail us out.
Lucho needs to sit up and find solution to our midfield. He takes the credit when things are fine and should definitely take the blame when they're not.

A guy wanted to beat me today when I told him City would crush us immediately I saw the line up. I knew the midfield of Gundogan, Silva and De Bruyne would over-run ours with out of form Rakitic, Gomes and Busi who has been a shadow of himself this season.

We won 4-0 at the Camp not because we played better but because we were able to capitalise on their individual errors. The loss tonight only proved the gulf of class between Pep and Lucho.
I still haven't forgiven Lucho for send Samper to Granada when it's obvious Busi needs a back-up/challenge.

I just checked samper videos, he is swiftter than busquets. he would have been a good competitor for busquets in that position. Both look frail on the ball though. Even if busquets scores four own goals consecutively, no solid contender would be brought.



They underrate clubs like sevilla, may be because man city spanked them home and away last year.

So, at the end of the day, the end result is still the same. In La Liga; it's always between Madrid, Barça and Atletico (at least in the last 10 years). In EPL, it's always the 2 Manchester clubs or Chelsea (in the last 10 years too). Of course bar the anomaly that happened last season.
