United trying to win Europa in a bid to play UCL as top 4 is not sure for them. The day they eventually crash out, we will start reading how Epl don't take Europa serious

Cules should just calm down a bit with the criticism flowing up and down. It's a known fact that majority of our players are going through a poor run of form at the moment. I am very sure they will survive it and come back stronger and better. We are all praising Pique today for his exploits, the same Pique many Cules here(myself inclusive) had wanted out of the club some years back due to his poor run of form after Baba Puyol hung his boot.
It's worthy of note also that Messi had been tagged so many names at one point, while some even envisaged he should be sold just because he was having a bad spell.
Every player goes through it, the only issue here is that we have many players going through it at a time. All they need is our support, if Pique could come back better, there's hope for everyone.

My issue with the coach is his failure to keep Samper as a potential back up to Busi, failure to play Arda where his potential lies and his inability to get the best out of Vidal while relying on only Roberto as a RB.

The coach definitely has his own fare share of the blame. I will continue to castigate him for not providing adequate back-up for Busi while still sending Samper out of the team. It's obvious some of the fresh legs too are yet to get acquainted with some little details that make the team compact. That being said, I don't think the coach's tactics has anything to do with the poor run of form of Suarez, Alba, Rakitic and Masch. Same applies to Neymar who has not been living up to his potentials. I just hope we are still able to keep up coining out victory here and there pending the time everyone gets back to his best.
Injury too has not been helping our course. How do we explain Umtit and Piqué's inability to play together knowing fully that's our best pairing? Iniesta is another player sidelined due to injury at the time the younger ones need him most. We should just keep praying Messi stays fit while expecting his partners in crime recover from their poor run of form.
I am still scared of our match against Sociadad despite yesterday's victory. That's the match that will likely determine our fate in the league this season.

I was clearly talking about this season by including Pool as a title contender, they have no European commitment and are still much better than Spurs over all....

Man Utd will still get back to their feet, they have the players and Mou is still a top coach, forget the banters and all, Liverpool is looking rejuvenated, so, we can't conclude the EPL is a 2 horse race.

Arsenal is just always there to mark attendance and make the top 4, maybe that might change soon, maybe.

First Tier right now has Liverpool, MAN city and Chelsea, (a spot is reserved for Manutd till they start getting it right) thats 4 strong teams


2nd Tier has Arsenal, Spurs, I can't think of any other team that comes close.

These are teams that have quality future star players in abundance, some of the players Madrid, Barca might eventually poach away in the nearest future.

You don't expect me to take your tier 2 as part of serious contenders, that leaves me to only your tier 1 to access. Your tier one has City, Chelsea and Liverpool. and, according to your logic in your question 'when last did Spur win Epl' Liverpool should be struck out of the list because we can't even remember when last they won the league. That leaves me with only Chelsea and City.

I put it to you again based on your logic bro, can we regard the Epl as a two horse race? Bearing in mind you personally deleted Spurs from the list, you have also admitted Arsenal are only pretenders.

Lol, Sebod and Dmcdad, I for one have never been part of the argument, however, its obvious to all that Man utd are enduring arguably their worst spell right now just as it was with Chelsea last year.

Arsenal is always up there as a top 4 team, we all know that, its not always easy for them to win the league, all this one they are doing na IGG, the real serious guys, serious contenders over the years are, I'll like to group them:

Tier 1
Chelsea
Man city
Man Utd (b4 Fergie left)

This season, truth be told, right now, it is like a 3-horse race between Man city, Pool and Chelsea, forget the other dead teams.


Tier 2
Arsenal
Spurs
Liverpool( a strong team too but its just not easy for them to win it even tho, they have been impressive this year though.)

A perfect example of why the EPL is crazy is Leicester winning the league last season against all odds, maybe the big guys were just average or Leicester really deserved it, that's another topic on its own, what I sha know is that, we are still waiting for when Deportivo or even Malaga will win the LaLiga, Liezpeg or Hoffeinheim will win the Bundesliga, Crotone or even Fiorentina will win the Serie A like fvccking Leicester won the EPL.

The reason they might come with 6 teams is that, every season recently, some of the big 4 (man utd, man city , arsenal , chelsea)are being displaced . Especially last season. Compared to la liga where we have barca, real and atm most of the time sharing the top3 spots. you should grab their points.

La liga is a 2/3 horse race, that is 1000% correct. [b]Meanwhile why shouldn't it be with regards to the current table? You would have had a solid point if spurs is in first 3 on epl table, because that would definitely show how poor epl is, at present. [/b]Man city , arsenal and even leicester are not doing badly in ucl, spurs at the moment are having bad time. Their poor run recently in epl, is a confirmation and definitely reflectiing in ucl. So you had no point to relegate epl's quality on that basis.

Lol.... la liga is 2/3 horse race, and Atletico is currently sitting 6th on the table. using your logic, since Spurs can no longer be regarded as part of the regular six epl chasers because of their current position on the log, then, Atletico is automatically out of the race leaving only Barca and Madrid.
By the way, I am still expecting the regular six Epl contenders every season since Spurs should not be counted as one.

Since Spurs are now fifth on the log because they have won just one game in the last five, Man U also are below them on the log, therefore, the two clubs are out of the list according to your latest post.

Kindly list the teams that make up the six clubs chasing the league for clarity sake.

Bros, my post is with no regards to the current table. We have always heard how la liga is a two horse race while over six teams compete for the Epl which makes it more competitive than any other league. Or is Tottenham no longer part of the six teams because they are currently sitting fifth on the log? Would that mean Man United are also not part of the teams that compete?

I've already given Sociedad the points. If we disappoint me and get the win, then a miracle.

The match against Celtic in the UCL will give me another chance to examine the team again and decide if to still keep hope alive or just be prepared for the worst this season.

Over 90% of our players are not living up to expectation. Alba, Rakitic, Masch, Suarez, Neymar, Busi have all been having shaky performances here and there. Pique and Umtiti have agreed never to play together.

The next three games would determine what we should hope for this season.
