Ohhh, I got your point now! Keep enjoying what one of the most successful coaches serves you week in week out then we are all behind him . |

patrickmuf: Just like you lots criticize CR7 here, it's called banter. What's the correlation between the topic and CR7 here sir? CR7 is an icon of Madrid, the eternal and fiercest enemy of Barca and a direct rival to Messi who also stands as an Icon of Barca. So, it's just normal that he gets criticised here just as any Madrid fan would do to Leo. But when we are talking about setting up one of the most expensively assembled team in the world of football with the most expensive player therein just to park the bus against a lower team in all ramifications, it's just normal for people to talk sir. And I still put it to you again, can you tell us you have never castigated you dear coach for his style of play while he was a Chelsea coach?.....we are waiting for your reply sir! |

dmcdad: True. And I must confess, he has really adapted his game to suit the team. Moreso, he has, and is still learning from the master of vision (D10S). His vision in delivering killer passes is getting sharper by the day. One only needs to watch the Olympic final to convincingly affirm that his passing and vision is becoming world class by the day. It just seemed it was Messi pulling the strings from deep with sumptuous deliveries of killer passes. If not for the fact that the trio of Gabriel Jesus, Garbigol and Juan were 'Higuains' on that day, there wouldn't have been the need for PKs to decide the match.
As for Messi detecting the move prior to the pass, I need not say anything to that effect. I mean, tell me the right adjective or superlative to use to describe him, that has never been used. We've used up all! So now if Messi do anything, just stay dump or just shake your head. Neymar made a great decision by joining Barca and it's turning out to be the best he could have made. I could remember vividly the much hype surrounding the match between Barcelona and Santos in the final of the club world cup where many believed Neymar would outshine Leo. While Baba Puyol and his cohorts ensured Ney had a game to forget, Messi proved to the world why he was the best. I can't forget the manner at which Ney boy was admiring the team from a distance after the heavy defeat. He must have rehearsed how great it would have been if he'd turned up in a Barca jersey playing alongside the greatest rather than against him. When he made up his mind to join the master, many people thought he was being prepared for a monumental downfall as they thought pride, envy arrogance and ego would set him up against the master, and as such, Barca would not hesitate to cash in on him as there's no way there could be two captains in a ship. Contrary to their opinion, hope and believe, Neymar proved himself to be a very humble, loyal and friendly dude by quickly making the master his idol, learning and playing with him, and making a great friendship both on and off the pitch with the master. We are seeing the results, and it can only get better. By the time Messi's reign starts to wane while Ney boy takes up the mantle, that's when he'll realise the decision he made then is actually the best any one could have made. As per the emboldened, may the Lord deliver us from every spirit of Higuian. |

dmcdad: Neymar in all competitions for Barcelona this season:
8 appearances 5 goals 8 assists W5 D1 L2.
Not bad. By the way, that his assist to Messi was out of this world. It's only a very swift and sharp player that could detect the move and score from such a great pass. The goal was superb while the pass was magical. |

Hmmmmm!!! If we had erroneously signed Mou as our coach then instead of Pep; 1. Messi would have been given to Madrid in exchange for Julio Baptista 2. Xavi would have been sold to Betis 3. Iniesta would have been sold to Atletico Madrid or Madrid as he was too small and fragile. 4. Sergio Busquest would have been on his 6th loan spell. 7. Pique would have been a Man U legend Abeg, make una add to the list.... |

Debroslink: Which one be 3-5-3 formation?
If you guys are talking of 3-4-3, then I think we've played such before and it worked. I remember when Alves played as a winger in such matches.
It's just that I still don't think Vidal is as bad as Mathieu. The coach really needs to give him a chance to prove himself.
My main concern is our attack line. Suarez is really messing things up, Messi is still out, and Neymar should be sharper. After seeing the emboldened, I checked my post only to see that I even typed it not once. Oh my bad! and I no dey take weed oooo As regards the formation, now that Masch is slower, I don't fancy having him as part of the back three. I think Vidal should be given the nod to complete the back four. |

This Thursday, Andrés Iniesta celebrates 20 years since his very first appearance in an FC Barcelona shirt. That moment came on 6 October 1996, just 20 days after he arrived at La Masia. The midfielder joined the U14B team and soon showed his quality as he rose through the youth teams to finally make his debut for the Barça first team. Iniesta has become a role model for the youngsters at la Masia due to the fact that he is the embodiment of the Barça style, an exemplary captain and the player with most honours in the Club’s history together with Leo Messi on 29 trophies.
20 years of service, 600 appearances and 29 trophies to show for his heroics. An epitome of humility, an embodiment of skills and a tactician of the game, all hail the Don! |

Chelsea vs West Ham
R.Madrid vs Espanyol
which match would you rather watch if you can only watch one...?! Chelsea for sure except you're a Madrista... We know west ham can shock chelsea... Can espanyol shock madrid...?
That is why R.madrid can't charge madness for low quality match... I don't have interest in this argument, but the question asked above called my attention considering the fact that Barcelona have already lost to Alaves and Celta this current season. I wonder how guys just come up with all sorts of defence just to buttress their line of argument. Same way some were shouting Pep this or that all because he lost to Tetenham as if he never lost to even newly promoted and smaller teams while in Spain. |

goldeno10boy: My tought too, if not why not start with the strongest eleven, is there any tough mod-week match comming
last season Barca went 39 game unbeaten until he changed the team structure for madrid and barca were toothless If we had lost having fielded his 1st 11, he would have been absolved of whatever blame. After all, we lost to same team last season even with Messi and co in the line up. Even though individual error cost us more than team error, but the fact that there's no midweek match to look forward to was enough reason for him not to have rotated the team against a team we have not been doing really fine. We just have to give it to Celta and move on. |
