Krasid: What exactly is your definition of solo goals and what makes it so special? If that is not a solo goal then what is it? A tap-in, a 40 yarder, a volley, an acrobatic? Any good player can score a solo goal.Heck, even Ben arfa has scored solo goals.I want you to describe the goal with a phrase or word if it's not a solo goal. If I were you, I would dig deep and come up with more evidence if there were enough solo goals to point to. It's so funny that's all you could bring up. The guy you are arguing with could give you more than five of Messi's shows. |

ElDeeVee: Seems you get brain so I'll talk to you. But before I answer your question, I wanna know where u stand on this. Do u agree that you have to DRIBBLE like 3 players to score a solo goal When a player picks a ball far away from the post, shoots from the distance, and scores, he is said to have scored a long range goal. CR7, Alonso, Ramires and so many players have scored this kind of goals. When a player picks ball far away from the post, moves past several players without passing to another player, takes the ball to the post and scores, he's said to have scored a solo. Solo in English means 'something done alone' but solo goal in football involves a player moving from a distance towards the goal post and escapes several tackle along the way and eventually scores without any support form other players. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by sebod(m): 5:04pm On Nov 07, 2015 |
ElDeeVee: SOLO means alone. If you can score a goal ALONE, you've just scored a solo goal. Anybody can score a solo goal, its nothing special Sir, by your definition, all goals scored are solo goals since no two persons can score a goal together. So once a player scores a goal ALONE (which is the only way), he has scored a solo goal. BRAVO! |

Having read through everything on this thread, I just feel like dropping a little piece of advice as I hardly comment on Nairaland. If you are eventually employed by whytecleon, you are likely going to be working with Wema bank. Please, don't think you have gotten a job, don't stop at searching for a better job where you can grow your career. There is no promotion, career path, salary increment even after working for years. You can never be upgraded if you tender/obtain higher qualification. Due to the rate of employment in the country, many of the outsourcing companies collaborate with banks to turn potential and ambitious individuals to corporate slaves.
Personally, I do advice people that come to me for advice never to take up such jobs as many are dream killers. Please note, I have not said you shouldn't take the offer, but just bear it in mind that you are not yet employed, so don't put a stop to your job haunting because you will realise it's not worth it at the end. Best of luck!

ddippset: Messi has got the right to have off games from time to time. Every footballer born of a woman does! Pele did, maradona did! You just mentioned some select matches where Neymar performed better than Messi, if I sit to think, iam sure I could mentioned 3 times more the number of matches Messi performed while Neymar was missing! I understand your disclaimer but using Messi as a yardstick in your analysis is a bit derogatory. Hmmmmm, I guess you didn't get the point he's trying to make. No one would ever compare Neymar to Messi, not even his father! |

And I bet the likes of Portugal, France and co go leave Ronaldo and Benzema respectively. Even Bale sef. Them fit just invite them, but I guess them no go play.
Meanwhile, our star man (Neymar) go dey busy dey battle am against a team like Argentina just days before the match. Hmmm Are you surprised they didn't invite Modric? Madrid would do anything to win the match, so they need all their players at their best. Don't be surprised if the move to not invite him was made by Madrid. That one no mean say dem no go chop am. |

homesteady: If Messi is not available, I don't want to see any of Muniru or sandro on the starting XI list!
Enrique should find a way to put Sergi Roberto. I would have wanted Iniesta to play on the wing but he has to play in midfield, if not them Kroos and Modric would run circles round our midfield. Muniru and Sandro bawo? If I were the coach, I would have Roberto play the right back while Alves plays upfront. It's obvious Alves is not doing anything as a full back again, it was evident as he exposed Pique severally against Granada. Maybe he can offer some support upfront. |

Mourinholic: I don't know how Barca manages to trash Madrid on and off the pitch..... Madrid signed Bale,Barca did Neymar Madrid bought Ronaldo,Messi Brought up Messi Now Madrid signed a fraud in Odegaard on Unbelievable wages, Barca signed Hilalovic .....
Lmao Funny you! Did you see what the boy called Halilovic did last night? Talk of Messi in the making. Madrid have always tried to match Barca on the pitch, hence their outrageous spending on players. Their spending couldn't give them the desired result, hence their off pitch foul plays here and there. |

Habah, no be only you tire oooo. 1- Hazard is better than Ney because Ney has Messi to spoon feed him. 2-Ney is being helped by the harmony in the team, Hazard is better. 3-i can't be comparing two players in different league's and clubs. And one wonders if they were playing in same club then when Hazard was better. One wonders if Matic and Busquets play in same league and club then when they kept hyping Matic. I am not saying this because I like the dude. I am saying it as a football fan and as a Barca fan. That kid sure knows how to play football.
