That mumu boy that has the brain of an invalid child but foolishly thinks he is the next Thomas Sankara of Burkina Faso was being cheered on as he rolled out one stupid policy after the other, even expelling French forces instead of engaging them to straighten areas of disagreement. The Russian ones he called to take over from the French and same thing in Mali or so where American forces were forced to leave for the Russians;where are the Russian mercenaries or forces now.Brutally decimated or hiding somewhere! |
PissInside:Over gullible and it's annoying. Apart from the money being paid by a stranger being an easy giveaway of it being a skit, another is how come the person filming knew exactly that someone would come at that time to pay for the girl? Stupid people! |
Clown. All I see is another avenue to corruptly enrich someone. Adding private sector driven generation is just to sweeten and camouflage it.At the end of the day,the state government will contribute 80% and the private sector participation will only be on paper and after the government finishes it's tenure, the next will find out there is nothing on ground. |
hammerT:So Russia would manufacture troops from the air,use poorly trained ones or even civilians to regain territories captured by Ukraine? Once Ukraine goes as far as it feel it can go into Russia and starts building trenches, even the entire Russia army would be bloodied before they can take it back, assuming they succeed. Trenches are like bomb shelters, you can be bombing the area while the soldiers heavily fortified in them are playing cards, drinking and smoking cigarettes. You need tanks, relatively larger and well equipped troops to take them back. But in this age of UAVs that Ukraine has lots of,that task becomes extra herculean. So Russia's best bet is to keep on trying to push in the East because they know for all practical purposes Kursk is now Ukraine's,till they decide to voluntarily withdraw |
TheGift:You people are still living in Utopia land. In this same scenario that the baby had died without the mother or relations that brought her indicating they feared that but brought the child to the Hospital to see if he/she can be revived, there are some Nigerian parents that would even claim it was the CPR that killed the child, that the nurse used too much force or wasn't even supposed to have done it at all in a child that wasn't conscious! |
How many cases or policy reversals has serap won? Always court cases or statements but I have never heard them having won a single case or the goverment forced to reverse a bad policy. So where is the advocacy? |
This is annoying trash! People are protesting due to high cost of living, this one is talking drivel. He was also disengenous if not outrightly dishonest when he said revenue has increased significantly:in Dollar terms it hasn't and mayinfact have reduced if a proper record and comparison is done. It's because of the about 150% devaluation of the Naira that revenue has deceptively seemed to haved increased. He should have stated the revenue increase in value terms!! |
This one that has used cream to reset his facial configuration. What of the governor that joined protesters to Match, does it mean he is also sponsoring the protests? |
Beremx:The fools just allowed the goverment to belittle the little remaining reverence some people had for that archaic belief and culture. Going forward the little number of people that still had myopic belief that Oro had powers to right wrongs, fish out thieves and cleanse communities of accidental deaths, crimes and other untoward happenings, would be in no further doubt the fact of what the majority had known for ages;that Oro is nothing but phantom, imaginary powers created for it by it's deluded practitioners. |
frankadrian:That is ehn! You would just be cracking your brain to figure out if it's someone that passed through any kind of school that typed what you just read. |
Usually kidney related issue. Has he done a kidney function and structure test(blood and scan)?Should also do a heart and liver function tests. I am surprised he said he has done many tests and nothing was found. If that is true, including a kidney test, then the only other explanation would be that he was suffering from an allergic reaction. |
Domestic staffs would kill her and still be within the neighbourhood where they would be easily picked? The history of domestic staff killing their bosses is that they usually abscond to their hometowns or at least to a location outside the state where they feel they won't be apprehended because they usually know they would be the prime suspects. What of the husband?Does he live with her and if so,was he present the days immediately preceding her death? Was there any domestic dispute she had with anyone? These are the relevant questions the investigators should find an answer to. Going through her phone too will reveal a lot. Of course,no one would dare mention taking of fingerprints, that would easily have resolved this murder, because even in 2024 police investigations in Nigeria, taking of fingerprints from a crime scene for analysis and cross-matching,is still as alien,as a Nigerian astronaut going to the moon. |
She has an accomplice.Maybe not in the murder but the deposition of the body. There is no way she alone would have carried the corpse to the burnt she burnt him,in order to,futilely hide any evidence. |
More pressure on the Naira. Crude oil is the primary source of forex for Nigeria. You sell crude to Dangote that you are supposed to export, where will the forex come from? Ordinarily since Dangote is producing in Nigeria, even if he pays for Crude with forex, fuel should be cheaper because of lower production cost.He claims to be exporting diesel and soon fuel,at international market prices, these should earn him forex that would offset whatever he uses to buy it from NNPC with some change left. This is not a good move. Just like the "fuel subsidy is gone" and floating of the ₦,it's another poorly thought out, hasty and bad decision that may backfire again. |
I was thinking that all the measures government has put in place to frustrate the protest was yielding fruit, but it seems, that despite all the tactics, the protest would still go ahead. The annoying thing about all these government action is that nothing concrete is being done to address the cause of the upcoming protest, severe hardship and hunger, instead same old tactics by the government:sponsor pro government protest, arrest assumed instigators, deny access to venues and all manner of rubbish. I bet Tinubu would finally go on the air tomorrow to try one last attempt to stop the protest |
Pure speculation. When was the surgery done that he was cleared to go stay in a hotel? If you are not 110% sure of your facts in matters like this, don't post rubbish. |
How is it a big blow? That he was going to get Igbos the presidency, release Kanu or give the region an extra state? How exactly is it a death different from others and that the region, state and even his family won't move on soon as they knew he was dead? The graveyard they say is full of people who thought the world wouldn't move on without them. |
EnglandAmaka:Ah,English keh! Rather go to school to study French than a language someone grew up with and was taught in,right from primary school.Though English and even English education graduates have my highest esteem because they will tell you it's as tough for them as any other course of study. Sorry, but I would rather not say,but just that I passed through the four walls indeed, after entering through the front gate(not the backyard😁😁)of a tertiary school. |
EnglandAmaka:Thanks but I find it a bit embarassing, based on my education that I should be commended for proper English grammar(asides, any typo of course😃). All the same thanks again. |
fergie001:Now Fubara is talking. This was exactly my advice. I know the likes of these politicians.Once they are in power or close to people in power, they contravene all laws and don't pay taxes or appropriate ones. You don't need to pursue them with thugs or use force to do anything. The goverment of the day has many legal means to bring his like to heel. This is one of them. He has other properties and lands.Let the government demand authentic legal documents, not forged ones for the lands and payment of appropriate taxes and fees.He is likely not to have or will produce one signed by one director in their sitting room over wine and fried turkey
|
Beremx:Well said, but you are talking to a man everyone has now found out, just like Buhari,is a product of propaganda and lies, about their capacity and integrity. This protest is easy to either stop or at least curtail to a large extent. The people to meet are the market unions and transport unions that are the primary sources of inflation, asides the fuel and naira value.Find an emergency way to drastically bring down prices of foodstuff or at least evidence of it.Get transport unions to reduce transportation costs, one way or the other. In this dire situation Nigeria is,you cannot allow a total market determined economy, the prices of some goods, especially foodstuffs, basic goods and services and transportation just has to be controlled. Then make a Nationwide broadcast, telling Nigerians the agreement reached with evidence and other longer term measures you would promise would also start manifesting before the year end to reduce the astronomical cost of living. You can also even impose a freeze on rent increase and any electricity tariff increase. With these practical measures and a national broadcast to that effect, even if the protest goes on,it would be muted. But of course, dunces and people propped up by lies and propaganda can't think that strategically and far, after all it was just to grab power at any cost |
In Nigeria because of the structure of not just the society but the way the constitution is structured,I view any governor that doesn't know how to do with his Nigerian state political opponent,as a dullard, not fit to hold the office of a Nigerian governor. This Nwanosike of a man for example, would have other investments or companies in Rivers State.I bet anyone 110% that those investments or companies have either not been paying taxes at all,or not paying appropriate ones. Not paying at all is criminal and companies liable to being legally sealed. Not paying appropriate taxes is liable to a fine;you fine him a hefty one, that he would find difficult to pay at a short notice,so if he doesn't you seal it off.Yes,the employees would be out of job,but the goverment is not doing anything illegal while dealing the person a political and economic blow. He would also have acquired lands,if he is unlucky, goverment appropriated or gazetted land;you seize them without giving him any option. Those ones that are not government appropriated he bought,he is likely not to have paid land dues, taxes and fees to have proper legal authority or may not even have done survey through the appropriate goverment agency, again this comes with hefty fine and give him a limited amount of time to pay all fees and produce all legal documentations,he fails, you seize the land. You go to his community,he may have been using his power to acquire lands or other properties illegally using that power and closeness to the then goverment of Wike, you simply legally revert those properties to their original owners or community. There are so many ways to cripple an opponent in Nigeria's warped structure and foundation. You could even go as far as making it legally impossible for him/her to step foot in Rivers State because some of the offences or illegalities the opponent committed are liable to arrest, prosecution and jail terms. The Nigerian structure gives a governor so much power, that even a traditional stool that predates the Nigerian constitution and federal structure, makes the governor able to dispose a traditional ruler at his whims and caprices. |
Please I maybe naive with this Netflix but don't you still have to subscribe for data? So if you have to subscribe still for data for HD,which may cost average of 1Gb for each HD movie, how does this make economic sense? Unless of course you are in a place where you have free WiFi or access to one. |
Republican guy wanted Trump to win at all cost,so took a shot that miraculously missed Trump but killed someone several metres away. He knew the popularity his act would have on Trump, even if it means being killed by the secret service in the process. It worked and was in the right path to achieving it's goal of giving Trump a victory in November, but they didn't reckon Biden would do what great presidents do for the best of their country, sacrifice personal ambition for National good. Now that Trump victory that was looking guaranteed is now looking very doubtful again. Who knows their next plot:maybe find ways to hijack ballot boxes to favour Trump |
So what point are you trying to prove with an old press release(at least 1 year old). Why not even truthfully put the date of this BUA statement so as to put the issue into context and not make it look like it's a current issue |
goody234:You wonder why we are still like this when countless posters here and many more people would believe such BS. Let her post the account number the money was posted to.Its very simple to trace. Of course she won't because this BS never happened,at least in the so called POS deal. The only remote possibility is that her greed lured her into "wash wash" money scammers that told her she could make millions from printing money using their chemicals. To save face,it's now been turned to a POS deal |
The tariff can collapse the universities. The solution is either full commercialisation of the universities or massive subvention. Imagine a university having an annual bill of ₦3b -₦3.5b for electricity alone, when total subvention is ₦25b. Diesel costs, running costs not added |
Don't trust Dangote. Monopolists always cut corners to stay ahead and wipe out competition. If not for the likes of Bua that fought him to a standstill in the cement industry and flour mills that used it's long known history and quality in the flour industry, Dangote would have monopolized both with inferior products at high costs. I think it's the other cabals that can't afford Dangote dominating the oil industry that have come out to expose the challenges with his refinery. |
What is this man saying for God's sake! Mention the University if you are sure of your facts. Furthermore and most importantly,if a 12 year can pass WAEC with the necessary credits and pass jamb with utme to gain admission into a university, meaning there was no backyard admission, then that child should be celebrated as a genius and not vilified! Gosh, these people reason with their anus atimes |
Unless in other climes, which I even doubt, but it's the governor or president that gives final approval as per any appointee of his/her deputy. Shaibu cannot just appoint and assign them to office,he has to forward the names to the governor for approval. He has lost this one again. All those goading Shaibu along are just pathetic. Someone like shaibu will do worse than Obaseki if he becomes governor, let no one be deceived. |
