When the recovered loot then gets exhausted where will the money be sourced to be paying ₦100k minimum wage? From Falanas anus? It can only then be possible through printing of money because no reasonable banking institution in the world would borrow Nigeria money yearly to just be paying salaries, and of course every person knows what that printing will lead to,massive, hyper inflation. What the goverment should do is agree on say 62k then attack the ₦ devaluation and prices of items aggressively so that whatever people earn makes sense in the market |
When I knew Nigeria is a confirmed shit hole is when the guy took active police officers to a supposed crime scene and was the one investigating and narrating the steps in the investigation he has undertaken including telling the audience that the curtains in the one in the accused house and where a corpse was found matched! The police then took picture with him as he appreciated them for providing him security as he carried out his investigation and narration!! Think he is doing it for publicity and of course money while ALL Nigerian policemen are involved in one crime or corruption or the other. They fit themselves |
bestman09:Na wa to una o! Don't you see what that person was trying to do,get attention!! If people like that are ignored with time they would get fed up.But they believe once they make that kind of remark, some people will take the bait and start responding |
tellsblinks:You are a dunce o! Why are you bringing January 10th news today to make it seem as if it's a current news! That's how you people come here and be spreading lies up and down with deliberate intention to mislead, just because nland is a faceless forum and you know no one would hold you accountable. I dare you to go and post this rubbish on X or Facebook and see if you won't come and be crying for help from Nigerians when you are called to come answer for your source and authenticity of your post |
Oghene86:You are being generous. Him resigning would make him have some dignity. He should not be given that dignity, but should be sacked. Anyway,I still insist that Finidi bears no responsibility. It's the NFF that saw disaster waiting to happen in him that, yet appointed him. |
Freshtruth:Rohr is not a good coach, let's not try rewriting history. Genort Rohr is like Good luck Jonathan that because his successor,Buhari was abysmally incompetent,it then made GEJ look like one capable president. |
pleroma:Finidi was the most obvious, foreseen disaster. I know the general outcry that greeted his appointment after rumours had circulated that first it was one European then Amuneke.People were generally satisfied if it was going to be a Nigerian coach and amuneke, hopeful and willing to give him a chance. It was all over the news then that amuneke had been appointed.Suddenly from nowhere we heard Finidi,a former coach of a Nigerian league team where home teams almost always win or at worst never ever lose. I said it during the SA match that if Nigeria doesn't qualify, all the NFF officials should be arrested, their houses confiscated and put in jail because they should never have appointed Finidi in the first place. No wonder Amokachi refused to come and be his assistant,in Amokachi's mind he would have been "when did Finidi start coaching that I would now come and be assisting him". |
Hearing on live radio,it's now 1:1 and that Bassey was at fault |
This Seun self and his dindinrin moderators, don't know if they even know how to promote nairaland. This thread should be on the FrontPage and fixed at the top. No station seems to be showing it,so many people will be following it live on nairaland and so it should be on the fp to promote viewership. Gosh! |
Another fake news, sourced and printed from one burukutu joint. |
I can just picture the scenario. They tortured him to reveal his bank details and pin, then murdered him on the way and planted the story of him wanting to escape. The other possible scenario is that he was conned into believing the case would be abandoned or twisted in his favour, told to transfer the ₦80m as bribe, then murdered him so he doesn't cry out later. Yes,the guy may have murdered those girls, but he was also murdered,in this case not to serve justice, but as way to siphon the money in his account. Almost same thing they did to Evans, after seizing his account and properties, they cornered it.Why Evans couldn't be murdered is that he had achieved public notoriety and his lawyer was always crying out about the monies and properties recovered from him being diverted. |
iykofias:Beginning and end of discussion. |
Dybala11:Even the GOAT himself summed it up:that City are the best team, but Madrid are the champions |
helinues:You always come across as being very daft. Gosh! |
GloriousGbola:I don't even believe Nigerians can be this gullible. Which American bank would he even use to withdraw such huge cash. Secondly, when did portable open a bank account in America that he can then withdraw money from. Third, most tickets if not all are paid through online platforms for tax purposes. So the only way this money is possible would be that he was sprayed at his shows, which can only be phoney cash or at most 1 dollar bills. Even at that he cannot move all that cash through any airport. |
hstar:He was listed as part of the the technical crew "to work with the head coach Finidi". Just like you were inferring, the Amokachi may have thought he is being belittled to now come and act again as assistant to Finidi. But only him knows his reason for declining. |
richmanrichard:Let's even forget about the scoreline for now. Which antecedent did Finidi have to have been appointed SE coach? Samson Siasia at least coached u21 and Olympics team before his appointment then Sunday Oliseh had coached a team in Belgium or Holland taking them from the second division to the first. Stephen Keshi had coached abroad. What criteria did they use to appoint Finidi,Enyimba? Then look at his lineup today,Onuachu starting the attack. Iheanacho that hasn't played for Leicester for donkey months. You are the one that is being myopic! |
youngsahito:There was even news that was on online media,SM and even here on nland that amuneke had been appointed and majority of people were happy and hopeful. Suddenly the news was debunked and out of the blues,Finidi of all coaches was appointed! Who knows if it was even because of his appointment, amokachi refused to be his assistant. Let's just watch.Hope Nigeria still wins, but the issue is that a victory will then blind the NFF to his deficiencies again. |
If Nigeria doesn't win this match, all the NFF executives should be put in prison, their bank accounts frozen and houses confiscated. Many people kicked against this Finidi publicly that this guy doesn't have what it takes, yet NFF to the shock of everyone appointed Finidi. Even if Nigeria eventually wins this match, these are early signs this guy doesn't have the capacity to lead the super Eagles going forward |
VaginaAcademic:Thanks Jor! Every time their type is always looking for who to blame, particularly if it's either a bigman, prominent person or an institution, always wanting to blame them and bring them down,as if they offended them by being well to do. He wasn't even there to know if Heimlich manoeuvre was attempted but failed. To them abroad,no person dies from any health issue,no person can ever die from "common meat choking".The person just goes to the hospital and voila, magic has been done and he/she is fine! |
Thundafireseun:Akpi! You just ended up disgracing yourself. |
That's the truth. Though I think 60k is reasonable, but even such an increase would cause shocks in the system, particularly the private sector and even many state governments would resort to retrenching workers and such people would then be regretting why the increase was made in the first place. NLC only fights for federal workers.Has NLC ever caused the enforcement of even the 30k most states were not paying? No! But why this maybe difficult to swallow for workers affected is that the governors, nass members, appointees of government are all living large. If for example the president, governors,NASS members and appointees of government were living frugally, people would understand. |
Ybholy:Makes more sense and looks more like it. Mozambican spitting cobra indeed! |
minato12:Funny,do you even know why it's called the Mozambique spitting cobra? |
UDOKABESTLUV:Yes,it's very sad he has lost his dear wife and mother of his children. But his narration of events, compared to the version police have, just goes to buttress the fact that the average Nigerian is a pathetic, pathological liar. In the man's narration he didn't mention anywhere that he had an altercation with the deceased to the extent of even stoning him first;he conveniently skipped that part to draw the mob of social media justices to his side. What if the stone he first threw had it the man on the head and he collapsed and died?He would then be the one at the police prison awaiting arraignment for murder. Moral of the story:if a Nigerian is narrating an event, that resulted in an unfortunate mishap, listen with a doubting ear, then listen to other parties involved before taking a decision,if not you maybe made to look like a fool later on when the true story of events are exposed. |
thatigboman:Why would you need blood being available as a prerequisite for CS? Do you even know why blood is needed for surgeries or you think after an operation like CS for example, you transfuse a woman blood as a matter of routine? Some of the things one reads is just laughable. |
Juoflife1:Interesting. So once a woman ruptures her membranes and is not contracting, next step should be to rush her to the theatre for CS? |
Unfortunate series of events, but what I find troubling and suspicious in his narrative of events is this:if your wife was not contracting after rupture of the membranes, what the hospital did was what any other standard facility would do,they started with cytotec,at the lowest dose recommended, repeated when there was still no noticeable contraction, then scaled up to oxytocin. The one issue I found with the Hospital management is that they would have exhausted the full 4 dose regimen of cytotec before starting with oxytocin. The problem with dealing with men like this that feel they know it all from what they read is that you must play everything by the book,if not they would use one issue as being the cause of a mishap. All these things he mentioned, paediatrician being present, physician, using infusion pump, partograph,CTG monitor, etc, even in advanced countries they are not as it's made out to be where all these personnel and instruments would be available. I bet if he had been told from the onset that his wife needed to be sectioned,he would have blatantly refused and told them to exhaust every other means. But here he is finding fault with every step taken. It's sad he has lost both wife and child, but finding fault with every step is just ridiculous. His wife came by 11am with no issues, was he expecting the consultant to be on ground monitoring an expected uneventful labour? Let the hospital say it's own side of the story. Mishaps happen all over the world and there is no where every case is done by the book. It's sad and may God grant him the fortitude to bear the loss. |
Tinubu is a fraudulent, unintelligent, incompetent man who like his predecessor was fuelled by a propaganda of lies about their qualifications, antecedents and capacity. He has nothing to offer and is now so confused he no longer knows what to do not still pretending to have an idea of what he is doing. |
It's a good thing that she has been found, but the relation seems to be taking those that showed concern and other people interested in the case for fools by saying she is so weak and unable to tell what happened. Unless someone is unconscious, the person must have at least a recollection of the last incidents or places she went. This is more like a convenient way of saying,'we won't be telling you any further thing about the circumstances of her being found '. |
Tinubu should just resign. It's unbelievable to imagine that Buhari,a glorified dunce, whose only attribute was his unalloyed devotion to anything Islam, including defence of Fulani extremistswould be better than Tinubu. He got it all wrong from day 1 of his inauguration and has been stumbling from one policy mishap to another. Where will the foreign currency for this new imports come from,of course it has to be sourced, putting more pressure on the currency. Then what happens after the 6months?Would Nigeria have magically cultivated and harvested enough to then no longer need to import the food and associated items?Of course,no! This is a man not only bereft of tangible ideas, but just dragging Nigeria further and further into the precipice. A colossal, foretold, avoidable mishap,is what Tinubu is. |
