This problem is synonymous with Africa, has nothing to do with breaking up. As usual no one has given a concrete reason why we should break up. I don't see how school strikes, healthcare, bad roads and other stuff would be fixed by a break up which is going to be both economically unfeasible as well as likely to be plagued with a corrupt government.

Take a look at your posts above and if you had any IQ at all, you would recoil back in shame for your statements were stand-alone, absolute and without any reference to context.

You talk about context, a lifeline, which I gave you when I provided the various definitions of "race"  in a bid to educate you and your cohorts. If you are so thickheaded that you cannot accept definitions from a dictionary, then I 'm afraid that you will come out of college/university still an empty barrel.

I already knew igbo race could be used in the context you provided and I assumed everyone knew that. I also assumed that people here knew that too. However, these two definitions:

Are not what is being referred to in the US census. There is no such thing as the irish race or italian race in the US census despite the fact that these two groups of people just became classified as "White" 40 years ago. However the irish race or italian race could be used in literary context and has been used several times but thats all it is. There are no concrete genetic markers to distinguish Italains apart from a couple of phenotypic that arose from mixing with the Moors. The igbo cannot also be classified as an ethnic minority yet since its a sociolinguistic group whose lines are arbitrarily formed.

This is what the US wants in the US census:

They want an anthropological definition of race. So igbo cannot be included as ethnic minorities. IMO the problem this arises is because Europeans downplayed the use of tribes because they got a lot of flake for it since tribe denoted something primitive; a word which Africans hate being used when referring to them.
